CHAPTER 29 ~ Threats ~

Athena stepped into the school with a gloomy face. Whenever Axel remembers her eyes will feel hot, this morning Athena woke up and did not find Axel beside her. The little thing that has been his habit for a few months. Woke up and immediately looked at Axel's sweet smile.

Why am I always like that? How many times have I kicked him out? Why can't I think before I say the words? Axel, do you really not want me to find you again? Inner Athena.

Once in class, Athena was still moody, plus when she remembered Evan's actions to her. Athena took out a textbook but just looked at him. Athena's mind drifted everywhere.

Oh my God, what happened last night? Evan, what did he give me? Why was I floating at that time? And Axel, I'm sure it was Axel, he helped me, he helped me but why is he like that? What the hell happened to him? Why is he burning? Axel you're putting yourself in danger to help me? Athena screamed while covering her face with both hands.

This time Athena could no longer hold back the tears, the girl slumped her face on the table. Crying sobbing alone, Athena set out early in the morning because as soon as she woke up the girl could not sleep anymore.

A girl who happened to come sooner saw a crying Athena. The quiet girl wanted to greet Athena but did not dare. From the first time I knew Athena the girl wanted to be friends with her but she did not have the courage because she was just a poor girl.

The girl tried to ignore Athena's cries but every time the sad cry sounded, the girl felt piqued. He tried to bravely approach Athena, trying to touch the shoulder of the girl who was shaking from sobbing.

But his courage is not enough. The girl stopped her intentions and turned her head outside the classroom. The girl lowered her head then touched Athena's shoulder.

Athena was surprised to turn to the girl who was immediately bowed.

"Mia, what's wrong?" asked Athena with a face filled with tears.

The girl named Mia immediately thrust her handkerchief.

"No, you need it, don't you?" ask Athena.

"This.., it's still clean. I haven't used it yet" Mia said.

"But if I wear it later, your handkerchief can get dirty. What are you wearing?" ask Athena.

"It's okay, I also don't need to" said Mia still thrusting the handkerchief.

Then he stopped because he saw Athena who did not want to take it. Athena immediately grabbed the handkerchief and immediately used it. Athena wiped her tears with the handkerchief. Mia smiled seeing him.

"I borrow first yes, then I return it" said Athena who was replied with a nod by Mia.

"Why are you crying?" ask Mia.

"I lost a friend" Athena said.

"The ghost in the painting?" ask Mia.

"What's? You know about the ghost?" asked Athena with wide eyes.

Mia nodded.

"Can you see it? You're an indigo?" ask Athena.

Mia nodded back.

"You could see it all this time? What have you seen?" ask Athena.

"I see he likes you a lot, he always smiles at you but every time he sees you with Evan his face will look moody. He was also happy when you painted it" Mia said.

"Can you see it now?" athena asked so excitedly that she shook Mia's arm.

The girl nodded, Athena flabbergasted to the point of covering her mouth with both hands. The tears of the girl instantly flowed back.

"He's here but won't see me?" said Athena with tears that increasingly shed.

Mia lowered her head then nodded, Athena's tears flowing even more.

"Please Mia, tell her I'm sorry" said Athena, who wiped her tears.

"He still doesn't want to. It's for your good Athena" said Mia.

"No, help me Mia. Please let me meet him. Make her want to see me, only you can help me" Athena pleaded.

"You can become an indigo if you continue to be around him. He doesn't want you to suffer because of that frightening ability" Mia said.

"I don't care about Mia, help me. Let me meet her again" cried Athena in panic because Mia was insisting on not helping her.

Athena lowered her head until tears dripped down her school skirt. Mia was filled to see Athena's sadness. The girl turned her head outside the classroom, then stroked the hair of Athena who was bowed before her.

"You can't see him anymore other than the turn of time because he doesn't have any power from this moment on. At that time he was so angry that he exhausted all his strength. If the power of anger was used for evil and not to help you then he would have vanished by now" Mia explained.

"What does that mean?" ask Athena.

"Ejecting power out of anger can make it vanish, completely disappear. But because he did it because it helped you he just lost his power to be seen by you" Mia explained.

Athena was stunned to hear it.

"Can you communicate with him now?" asked Athena who was replied nodding by Mia.

"You are very lucky" said Athena looking down sadly.

"Lucky? You don't know how hard it is to be an indigo child. I was always scared everywhere. Especially around my house there are frequent sightings. I used to scream myself to make people think I was crazy. I didn't dare to be friends with anyone because of that" Mia explained with teary eyes.

"Ironi right? I want to have abilities like you while you don't like them" Athena said.

"He's a good ghost because it doesn't matter if you want to see him but what about the other ghosts. If you see it, you might be scared" Mia said.

"I also know the ghost of Raihanna. It's scary but he's not evil either" Athena said.

"Have you seen it too? Yes, I also feel afraid even though he is not evil. But seeing it is still creepy." said Mia.

"Mia please tell him that I'm waiting for him at home" Athena said.

"That girl's ghost?" ask Mia.

"No, that handsome ghost" Athena said with a laugh.

Mia also laughed, then nodded. Mia was very happy to talk to Athena. For the first time the loner girl was happy to have the ability to see supernatural beings.

"If it wasn't for that we might never have spoken. Just this time I'm happy to have that ability" Mia said.

"Yes, because you like to be alone. I was so afraid to greet you, I thought you didn't like being friends" Athena explained.

"No Athena, I also want to have friends. I was happy to see you with Kimmy and Vivi so compact. I also want to be like that but no one wants to be friends with me. A poor strange child, you can be friends because you are one degree while I am just a poor girl" said Mia lowered her head.

"I'm not like that, I don't choose to be friends. As long as they want to be friends with me, I want to be friends with him as well. I never distinguish friends" said Athena.

"really?" mia asked in disbelief.

"Do you not believe in living things? Ask the ghost if you don't believe me" Athena said with a laugh.

"Hhmm... Are you guys dating?" ask Mia.

"What?" asked Athena in shock.

"You and the ghost?" mia asked with a smile.

"Your boyfriend is not human you are very cool" Mia said with a laugh.

Athena also laughed, she did not dodge even though she was currently Evan's girlfriend. In front of Mia, Athena did not dodge that she was also dating Axel.

"He's sad to see you" said Mia.

"The ghost's boyfriend" Mia said.

"Why? Is he near here?" asked Athena immediately looking around her.

"He's beside you, he's sad because you're still insistent on looking for him" Mia said.

Athena was down, now everything is like before. The girl could neither see Axel nor hear him during the day. The girl could not wait for the change of time and proved that Axel wanted to come to her house.

Evan suddenly appears in front of his class, with quick steps leading to Athena's desk.

"I want to talk to you" Evan said.

The man immediately pulled Athena's hand out of the classroom. Evan takes Athena to the corner of the school building. Mia quietly followed.

"Whatis that? What kind of creature came into my room that night?" ask Evan.

"Why ask me? Maybe it's an evil monster who wants to challenge a bad man like you" Athena replied.

"What's? I'm a bad man? What mistake? Why do you judge me a bad man?" ask Evan.

"Yes, because you have evil intentions for me" said Athena.

"Wicked intentions how? We're officially dating, I just want to make out with you and then where's the evil intent?" ask Evan.

"Because I don't want you to do that but you're forcing me. You still want to win that bet, right? You don't care about my feelings, I'm not sure you love me. From this moment on I rescinded my decision to be your girlfriend" Athena said.

The girl wanted to step away from Evan. But the man actually held him.

"No way, you should still be my girlfriend. I have to get what I want. Otherwise this video footage will be shared so that the monster hunters come looking for it" said Evan.

"You can't do that" Athena said in a panic.

"Why not? The monster has hurt me, I can ask for help from a more powerful person to eliminate it" Evan said.

"Evan, please don't do that" said Athena.

"Then follow my will, I wait for you tonight at my house" Evan threatened.

"No, Evan don't be like this" said Athena with her eyes getting hot.

"Follow my will or I'll eliminate the creature. You like him, don't you? You rejected me because of him? Come to my house or I'll find someone to eliminate it" Evan asked with a wry laugh.

Evan was about to pass from that place but then his steps came to a halt, turning to Athena who was looking at him. Evan immediately forced to kiss Athena. The girl pushed Evan with all her might but the man's embrace was so strong.

"Hey, why are you there" one girl shouted.

Evan stopped his kiss and turned to the girl who was shouting. Athena saw Mia standing at the end of the building.

"I can definitely get you, just look at it later" Evan said.

The man then stepped away from the stunned Athena. As he passed, Evan stared intently at Mia who was also looking at him. Evan smiled wryly as he passed the quiet girl.

Mia immediately approached Athena who still looked shocked.

"You're all right? Are you the same as him?" ask Mia.

Athena nodded.

"Sorry, did I bother you?" ask Mia.

"No Mia, I'm just grateful that you came" Athena said blankly as her body trembled.

Mia hugged the pale looking Athena, at first the girl hesitated but as Athena returned her embrace, Mia finally hugged tightly. The girl rubbed Athena's back.

"I don't know why the girls at school like her" Mia said, stretching her arms.

Athena looked at Mia and lowered her head. Mia felt guilty about what she said. The girl took Athena back to class. They talked while taking slow steps.

"They're all stupid for liking it, just like I'm stupid" Athena said with a wry smile.

"No Athens I don't mean it, sorry" Mia said.

"You're not wrong, you might be able to see what people can't see from Evan. Foolish girls like us only see someone from good looks, popularity to not care about the character. Rela gave himself up and his madness even became the pride of being able to surrender itself to him. I don't think so either" said Athena.

"If I were beautiful, maybe I would be like you. I felt like I deserved it and did everything I could to please her. But I'm not beautiful so I don't participate in the competition to get men like Evan" said Mia.

"Who are you not beautiful, you are like this because of your simple nature. You are a person who does not have much behavior and just wants what is" said Athena.

"Thank you Athena even if your words are only comforting but I think a little bit of your judgment has a point. I can't be stylish and just perform as it is" Mia blushed.

Athena laughed, Mia's innocent speech making her slightly amused. But when Evan's threat flashed, the girl returned moody.

"What's gonna happen? When did you guys get married? So what happened to Evan? You guys like you're fighting? ask Mia bertubi.

"Aren't you coming to our school farewell party?" asked Athena who was returned with a headband by Mia.

"I don't have a party dress, any more than I'm partying helping my mom" Mia said.

"Oh that way, we made it on that farewell night" said Athena while looking down.

"It's only been three days, the farewell party was last weekend, right?" tanya Mia who was replied nod by Athena.

"Yes and now I regret receiving it" Athena said.

"Why? He did you a bad thing?" ask Mia.

"He forced me to serve him" said Athena who looked down with teary eyes.

"Oh means he's doing an attempted rape?" mia was shocked.

Athena nodded her head, her tears flowing from the corner of her eyes. She hugged Athena again. They sat inside the classroom, occasionally Mia stared out of the classroom.

"You must have been scared to see it" Mia said as she stroked Athena's hair.

"Yes Mia, I'm so scared of her" said Athena again sobbing.

"Then you have to report to the police, if he threatens you or does something unpleasant you can report it" Mia suggested.

"I wanted to but I was afraid, he threatened to eliminate Axel" said Athena.

"Axel?" ask Mia.

"That ghostly man, he got the footage of Axel helping me" Athena said.

Mia looked the other way and then looked back at Athena.

"Axel promised to come back to you" said Mia.

"Certainly, he said that?" asked Athena with a happy face.

Mia nodded. When he saw Evan's actions, Axel felt furious especially after hearing the men's threat. Axel wants Athena to not grant his wish. For him it did not matter if he had to vanish rather than having to see Athena turn herself in because of the threat of the video recording.
