CHAPTER 30 ~ Back Again ~

Axel promises to go back to Athena, hearing Mia's words like that Athena feels very happy. The girl waited in her room, occasionally looking out the window waiting for the change of time.

"Don't meet Evan" a voice came from behind.

Athena immediately turned her head, with teary eyes the girl immediately hugged Axel.

"I'm sorry Axel, I'm sorry I kicked you out. Now I realize why you're doing that so I can still see you. In order for us to stay together, I suffered so much from not being able to see you. I don't care if I have to see ghosts as long as I can see you so I can always be with you. Axel, we'll always be together, won't we?" ask Athena.

Axel smiled then nodded.

I always wanted to be with you Athena, as long as you wanted to be with me, inner Axel.

"Axel, I have to go, I have to see Evan. I want him to delete that video tape. I don't want you to be a paranormal target or a ghost hunter. I'm afraid they'll wipe you out" said Athena, increasingly teary.

"I'd rather vanish than let you meet the bad guy. No, you can't see him" Axel said, cupping Athena's face.

The ghostly man misses Athena a lot, and vice versa. Athena immediately buried her lips into the man's lips. Axel welcomed warmly, during this time Axel could only see Athens from afar. All her yearning was swallowed up by herself while Athena was always next to Evan.

Axel was shocked when he saw Athena who was angry with him, ignored him and finally kicked him out. Axel who does not know what his mistake can only resign to the desire of Athena.

When Athena doesn't want him anymore, she'll leave. Although it was painful but Axel smiled every time he remembered Athena would be happy with the man he loved long ago. Axel is happy to be able to help Athena achieve her desire to be Evan's lover.

Despite feeling empty, poignant and sick, Axel took the wisdom of their meeting. You can get to know the beautiful and kind Athena, the girl who always makes her laugh at home and at school.

Axel followed Athena all the way to the farewell party, smiling wryly as he saw the newly-created couple on stage. Much to the admiration of the mismatched couple, Axel simply stood far behind staring at those kissing on stage.

A romantic scene that made the girls feel envious. Axel smiled, happy and sad. Axel decides to leave all that behind, leaving the beautiful Athena also leaving all the sweet memories with her.

Axel decided to leave but his steps stopped when he heard the talk of Evan's friends who gathered laughing. Axel wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't for one of them calling Athena's name.

"Enak really Evan, can fuss over Athena" said the man then laughed.

The other children also laughed, the four of them were talking about Evan and Athena made Axel curious and wanted to listen more. Axel stands joined by Evan's friends.

"Where is he? how come it's not nongol?" ask a man.

"What did we tell him?" ask the others.

"Obviously, bet if you can spin our girl we lose. If not he paid twice as much" said another.

They all laugh.

"Honestly I want him to lose but that chick on want all the same he so we don't win-win. Lucky for him, it can be good at the same time get money" said another person.

"Eat that, I think Athena is difficult to get so we can win" said another.

"How difficult is it to get? don't look anywhere together. Cheap is also a girl" said another.

Axel widened his eyes, annoyed at the words of that one man. It was like Axel was expending his power to pin the boy's head. However, eventually the man was patient because he wanted to know their plan.

"What is our plan? If he succeeds again, he can be good we can get bokek" said another man.

Axel's eyes had lit up yet they no one could see him. Just now Axel was about to raise his hand suddenly Evan appeared. Axel stopped teaching Evan's four friends a lesson. Axel chose to hear Evan's plan.

The man eventually left the party hall and met his friends. They immediately asked Evan's plan.

"Tonight I will invite Athena to meet my parents" said Evan.

"Trus how did you go through the plan? what does ama ortu loe have to do? Do you want permission first? Recognize Mom, Dad is a potential victim" said one friend Evan and the others immediately laughed.

"Yes that's not it, I said I want to know Ortu but his order out of town so how? free dong I do not need a hotel rental. Athena was a bit difficult, she could have suspected that if I took her to the hotel, she would have refused. If the other girls are good. Evan plans to pretend to introduce Athena to his parents just to take the girl to his house. Hearing that Axel was furious, the man was eager to tell Athena about Evan's plans. But urung, Axel recalled that at this time Athena was angry with him.

Axel felt quite heard the talk of Evan and his friends. Axel decides to follow Athena to protect her, if anything happens then Axel will do whatever it takes to stop her. Axel was about to look for Athena when he saw the girl running towards the rooftop.

Axel followed until Athena stopped at the trellis door to the stairs to the rooftop. The girl cried, Axel also shed tears. His decision to stay away from Athens had been told to Raihanna. Until when Athena met Raihanna, the ghost said Axel was not at the school.

"He where's brother?" asked Athena while trying to stay brave to look at Raihanna.

Hearing Athena's question, Axel desperately wanted to appear but ended up shaking his head at Raihanna. Making the ghost girl answer that Axel does not want to meet Athena. Athena cried, Axel held on to his place. It felt like wanting to show up and hug the girl but Axel wanted the girl to live a normal life.

Axel must stay away from Athena so that the girl's ability to see supernatural beings is reduced to complete disappearance. This is a farewell for Axel and Athena, if the ability of the girl disappears then forever Axel can not be seen again by her.

Axel did not want to see Athena again, making the girl step out of the school building and walk sobbing towards the hall. Axel followed him silently. While walking in the school hallway, Athena heard something and moved to the side of the class at the end of it.

Athena was flabbergasted to hear Evan and his friends talk. Athena ran from that place with mixed feelings. Axel followed, the man did not want Athena to be desperate and short-minded. But Evan persuades Athena until the girl forgives him.

However, Axel still does not believe in Evan until determined to follow wherever they go, even to Evan's house. Axel watched the man, shocked when Evan put something into Athena's drink.

The effect of the drink finally appeared, Athena felt sultry. Evan forces the girl to take off her dress until Evan pushes Athena to the bed. Axel walked back and forth, feeling upset, immediately wanting to do something but unable to bring out his strength. It will make him feel sick and weak.

Axel hopes that Athena can fight the evil man, but Athena is not strong enough, the girl is getting weaker. Axel could not contain his anger, Athena had begged the man to stop his actions but Evan did not care and increasingly became. The man had even intended to strip Athena of her dress, to the point that Axel could not hold back anymore.

His body heated up his eyes reddened like fire, Axel could no longer hold back his anger until finally expelling all his strength. Axel raised his hand to make Evan float to the wall of the room, the man fell unconscious.

Axel wants to help Athena but can't, with his still-flaming body Axel leads Athena out of the house. Axel was unable to hold on anymore, his body was too weak and sick. The man disappeared from Athena's sight.

Appeared on the rooftop in an unconscious state for days. Passing five times the turn of time Axel opened his eyes and sat in a weakened state. Raihanna was sitting next to him.

"You're back" Raihanna said with a flat expression.

Axel nodded, then looked at Raihanna who was looking straight at him.

"You can disappear forever" Raihanna said.

"There is no point in living like this, haunting the direction and loneliness. I chose to disappear to help the girl I love. It feels more useful than living like this" Axel said, looking down.

"Then will you come back to her?" ask Raihanna.

"No.., coming back to him is also useless. I'm just gonna make him worry. He had to live a normal life, meet a human, fall in love and marry like any other human being. Connecting with a creature like us will only make life difficult" Axel said.

The words he spoke sounded certain, his determination was already round but his eyes shed tears.

"You love him so much, he loves you so much" said Raihanna who eventually made Axel laugh.

"He can be loved by many men, by normal men, why should he love me? I think it's just a momentary feeling. One day the feeling will go away and he can forget me" Axel said.

"He loves you so much, he fought his fears to find you. Don't waste his feelings, life is short. Even too short to love, do not let one day you regret" said Raihanna.

"What?" axel didn't understand.

"You can make this short life he spent regretfully?" ask Raihanna.

Axel was stunned, seeing Athena who was often pensive, or his face was moody, Axel's heart felt sore. The thing she wanted the most was to see Athena grieving.

"If all his sadness comes from your departure can you be happy? I experienced it, although my departure was not my will but I always felt Raihan regretted it. If he had stopped me then, if he had been by my side, if he had asked me and many other regrets. You want him to spend this short life making her feel sorry?" ask Raihanna.

The answer is of course not, Axel never had the heart to let Athena grieve let alone make her regret for a lifetime. Axel looked at Raihanna, the ghost girl smiled and nodded.

Axel got up with a smile on his lips, immediately the man ran towards the Athena class. Axel stopped in front of the girl's class, looking at Athena who was crying alone. Axel touched the girl's shoulder but could not feel anything as well as Athena.

Axel could only look at Athena face down on the table. Crying sobbing alone, until finally an indigo Athena friend can convey Axel's desire to return to the girl.

And now Axel has been in Athena's room, hugging the girl's body tightly. Pecking his lips many times until finally the girl he loved buried his lips on Axel's lips while closing his eyes permeated the warm kiss of the man.
