CHAPTER 108 ~ Engagement Party ~

The engagement date has been set. They do all kinds of preparations. Hardy sometimes teases Athena about canceling the engagement. Axel immediately stared intently at his twin brother.

"Don't try to seduce my future wife!"  axel shouted while clenching his hands.

Hardy laughed, while Axel immediately took Athena with a smile. Because of so much preparation, Athena went to Axel's house often. Mrs. Olivia would immediately ask this, the concept of the event, cake, ring, dress, anything, so excited that he brought all the brochures to be shown to Athena.

"Mommy, it's just an engagement. Don't be too busy, Mommy will be soy sauce," said Athena who felt bad so troublesome the old man.

"Don't underestimate the engagement event, this is to provide good memories for you," said Olivia.

"Oh I'm touched by Mommy, but I must be sad if lack of rest let alone pain because of this. Really Mommy, whatever Mommy's choice, I like," said Athena who did not want to burden her future mother-in-law.

While together with Axel, Athena asked the man to talk to her mother so as not to think too much about the engagement party. However, Axel instead asked Athena who did not worry too much about her mother.

"Honey, Mommy is so happy to prepare all this, don't be banned huh. Mommy will be sad. Mommy really wants to be happy with this prospective daughter-in-law," said Axel while cupping the face of his future wife.

"But …."

"Mommy is exactly like you, sad if you can not give the best. Disappointed if you can not do something for loved ones and equally do not want to trouble others," explained Axel.

"This brother knows well" said Athena shyly.

Too much according to her the good nature of being accused of her. Athena was not so good that the girl was embarrassed to accept and admit it. The girl's face flushed with embarrassment. Axel immediately kissed the lips of his future wife.

"Mommy may be like that but I don't feel like it" Athena replied. 

"Because you're a good girl" whispered Axel.

Athena smiled. The girl resigned to the wishes of the Mommy. Whatever the future mother-in-law wants, so that the beautiful mother is happy. 

The girl received praise for her elegance and beauty. Likewise with Axel, making the girls stunned. The engagement event also began. Everyone felt the engagement party.

After the engagement procession was over, the two of them greeted the audience to thank them for their presence. Sometimes saying hello together. Sometimes separately.

Suddenly Athena saw Axella, immediately the girl approached. However, Axella who looked at him silently with those sharp eyes chose to leave when Athena wanted to meet him. Athena chase. The girl wanted to apologize and promised to let Axel befriend the girl.

"Wait for Axella" said Athena snatching Axella's hand to hold her away.

The girl fell silent, then turned her body to face Athena. Athena felt even more guilty seeing Axella's sad expression mixed with anger. Athena wanted to eliminate the hostility between them.

"I'm sorry, brother, I beg you to forgive Axel. I want Axella's sister to be friends with Axel. Don't blame Axel for following my request. It's not his fault, I'm too jealous. I don't know Axella's good intentions. Axella don't go, come to our engagement party" said Athena, pulling Axella's hand.

However, Axella actually jerked her hand until it was separated from Athena's grasp. Axella looked at Athena but did not speak. Seeing that Athena knew that Axella didn't want to forgive her. Axella looked at Athena with a hateful look and went running.

Athena chases after him, not wanting the girl to hold a grudge against him. His heart felt unsettled when he found out that someone hated him. Athena continued to chase, as if that was her only chance to apologize. Athena wants to get sorry from Axella before the girl leaves.

Suddenly Athena sees a light highlighting Axella's body. The girl ran across without seeing the road because of the day that had been night and the streets that had been deserted. The girl did not expect to suddenly appear a car that was speeding.

Athena immediately chases to warn Axella as her screams are ignored. The girl immediately pushed Axella's body until the girl's body bounced and fell. Axella was unconscious, his head hit by the concrete barrier of the sidewalk. While Athena was hit to bounce several meters in the middle of the road.

The sound of a car that brakes suddenly makes a very loud sound. Make the guests turn their heads towards the sound. Axel immediately looked for his fiancee. Calling but still not found. Some of the guests chased towards the sound to find out what was happening.

They were surprised to find that the star of the party had actually been sprawled in the middle of the road.  While the other girl was lying on the other side. Axel directly hugged the girl's body while crying out loud.
