CHAPTER 48 ~ At Dinner ~

Athena invites Axel into the house after Axel kisses Athena. The man refused to let go of his kiss. Although it looks a bit upset but eventually Axel justifies Athena's speech.

Axel was sure his parents had waited a long time. Finally Athena met the father of the handsome man. And Athena felt that Axel's good looks were indeed thanks to the share of middle-aged men who still look handsome at an age that is not young anymore. Mrs. Olivia, who was so happy to see the arrival of Athena, immediately invited Athena to dinner.

At dinner Athena got a bunch of questions. School, hobbies, friends, girlfriends and so on. However, the thing that Mr. Cullen is an IPS major.

There was no reason for Axel to dislike the girl, he was able to blend in with both of his parents. Athena was able to bring joy in the family and Athena was also very liked by the two honorable rich people.

They talk and laugh again. They even laugh until they are broken. Ny Body. Olivia felt tired after laughing for so long. Eventually the two parents asked to return to the room and gave the son the opportunity to be alone with Athena.

Though Mr. Tom Cullen still wanted to talk to Athena but because he was invited while being pinched plus behind his eyes finally, Axel's father stood up and stepped following his wife.

Axel and Athena were both on the porch. Axel moved beside Athena. The man immediately embraced Athena's shoulder and buried his lips.

"You are amazing Athena" whispered Axel.

Athena smiled while looking down, there was a happy feeling of being liked by Axel's parents. But he was worried when he realized the man he faced was not the man he loved.

Why should I try to like them? They like me, my heart feels happy, but what is the purpose? To attract their hearts to be accepted as a girl who wants to be her son's girlfriend? No, I definitely don't want to be Axel's girlfriend. Then why am I doing all this? To attract Axel? No need to do that Axel has liked me, inner Athena.

The girl thought hard about her goal of being close to that family. Until he did not realize that Axel had played his tongue in Athena's oral cavity. Axel stood before Athena.

"I think I'm almost crazy, I like you so much. In the dream I have had you, I feel confused between dream and reality. What Athena should do, I prefer my life in a dream because that's where you want me. There, we love Athena" Axel said with teary eyes.

Axel approached Athena and hugged the girl.

"I will wait for you, I will wait for you until you are truly mine and you are willing to give yourself, your heart, your love for me as in my dreams" Axel said.

Athena fell silent, half-heartedly believing Axel's words. But the other half still doubt it because Athena has known Axel's association so far who always get what she wants either for free or with little effort from the man.
