CHAPTER 28 ~ Night Farewell ~
Evan smiled after seeing Athena standing before him. The man hoped that Athena had forgiven him but the girl shook her head.
"You promised to take me home" said Athena.
"Of course Athena" Evan said with a smile.
The man stood up and stepped, just a step Evan stepped on his foot, the man fell to his knees.
"Oh..," cried Evan.
The man falls down, Athena reflexively grabs Evan's arm. The man smiled at Athena's attention, Evan clasped Athena's hand and stood up.
"Thank you" he said with a gentle look.
Athena just looked down, in her heart there was still anger but Athena tried to give Evan a chance to prove his words. Athena wanted to see how sincere the man was towards her.
Athena stood waiting for Evan who was relaxing his numb legs. The man smiled at her, Evan tried to step up again but grimaced back. The man tried to walk even though he was limping.
"Wait a minute, sit down!" said Athena while pointing at the seat closest to Evan.
"No, you want to go back? I'll take you" said Evan, still limping.
"Where can I drive with sore feet?" ask Athena.
"Later it will also be healthy on its own, if in the car still feels pain I will rest" said Evan still walking.
The man smiled as he waved his hand at the friends who greeted him. They even applauded as the man tried to walk. It was as if walking with great difficulty was an achievement.
Athena followed the man, sometimes wanting to clean him up, but he was overexcited because he felt too much. Evan is still trying to get limped. Slowly walk towards the parking lot. His smile did not come off every time he looked at Athena. Finally the girl did not have the heart and took the man.
"It's okay, but it's okay. I like it" Evan said as he looked at the face of Athena who was so close to him.
Evan presses the car key remote, Athena helps open the door. Evan gets into the car and apologizes for not being able to open the car door for Athena. The girl opened the car door herself and sat in the passenger seat.
Evan starts the engine and the car's AC but hasn't started driving.
"Still sick? which part?" ask Athena.
"The neck and ankles" said Evan.
"So you can't drive yet?" ask Athena.
"Wait a minute, will you?" evan asked for Athena's approval.
Athena nodded softly, Evan looked at Athena with a faint look.
"Thank you, for coming back for me" Evan said.
"I didn't come back for you, I just took your promise to take me home" Athena said.
"All right, but we're still together, right? we haven't broken up, have we?" ask Evan.
"I doubt that you really want to be with me" Athena said.
"What makes you doubt? I really want to be your girlfriend" Evan said.
"To win the bet" continued Athena.
"I told you, that bet is just my pride in my friends for conquering girls. And you, you are my happiness. I told you I'd rather lose my pride than lose my happiness. They'll probably laugh at me for not succeeding em.., me.., but I don't care what's important you've become my boyfriend" Evan said, hesitating.
Evan did not want to continue his words because obviously Athena would not like that.
"I love you Athena, I liked you for a long time" Evan said.
The man approached Athena and buried his lips into Athena's lips, the girl feeling her initial gentle pull. Over time, Evan sucked his tongue and played around in Athena's oral cavity. Evan occasionally stopped his actions and whispered.
"I love you, I want you. Reply to my kiss" said Evan who saw Athena still hesitating.
Athena who was silent did not know what to do. His heart was still doubtful, growing more doubtful since hearing the talk of Evan and his friends. However, Evan's aggressive attitude inevitably overwhelmed him. Their breaths are hunting, their hearts are pounding. Until Evan finally let go of his kiss.
"I'd like to introduce you to my parents, wouldn't you?" ask Evan.
Her lips still touched Athena's soft lips. The girl was silent, as each wanted to open her mouth Evan sucked his tongue. The man smiled.
"We're going to my house now, right?" ask Evan.
"It's late, Evan" said Athena.
"It wasn't too late, the show wasn't finished. But it's okay we don't follow her, I'm waiting for this day just to make you my girlfriend. The farewell party was not important to me at all" Evan explained.
Evan continued to touch his lips on Athena's lips. Evan's breath gently blows the girl's cheek. Athena gathers her already fragmented feelings, recalling the moment secretly liking Evan.
The man who always made her flutter just by looking at her from afar. And now the man was so expecting his love. He was unceasingly friendly to her. Athena thought then finally nodded.
"So soon, my mom said don't come home too late" said Athena.
Evan nodded, with Evan's spirit peeked at Athena's lips quickly then immediately drove his car.
"Have his legs healed?" ask Athena.
"Udah like, can be a powerful medicine from you" said Evan smiling.
Athena just smiled knot. They drove to Evan's family home. Not long after that they entered the courtyard of a luxurious house. Evan invites Athena into his house. Smiling while clasping Athena's hand, Evan looked for his parents. He asked his house assistant.
"Against the city, Den Evan didn't know?" ask the housekeeper.
Evan asked his parents in front of Athena until the girl knew right away.
"Maybe come home soon, what if we wait in my room" Evan suggested.
"What's? in room?" asked Athena not to believe Evan's invitation.
"Yes, it's okay, than here. If my friends play here usually go straight to the room, come on" said Evan while pulling Athena's hand.
He took the girl up the stairs and entered his room. Athena objected but ended up following the man. Athena entered a spacious, monochrome room. Room design that gives the impression of elegant, modern, and cozy.
Athena smiled looking around, all the furniture that showed the impression of a real man. Evan hugged Athena tightly.
"I'm so happy, today is the most beautiful day for me. I can have you completely" said Evan as he tightened his embrace.
Evan stretched his arms, cupped Athena's face and smiled.
"Wait here yeah, I'll get you a drink" Evan said.
"No need for Evan, no need. I'm not thirsty" said Athena to stop Evan.
"Nothing, the guests come not in suguhi drink. Wait a minute" said Evan then passed behind the door.
Athena sighed then bowed. The girl finally decided to sit down at Evan's study table. Look at the interesting knickknacks on that table. Look at some of Evan's notebooks.
Athena actually imagined Axel Cullen's notes, their notes are similar, full of numbers or scientific words. Athena sighed heavily then stood on the balcony of the room.
Evan hugged from behind. Athena turned her head and Evan immediately kissed Athena's lips.
"That's the drink, you like the juice, right? I forgot to ask" said Evan.
Athena nodded, Evan picked up the drink for Athena. The girl accepted it with a smile.
Athena complied, drank the orange juice and smiled.
"We wait for mommy and daddy for a while, if the house is still long. I'll take you home, next time I meet him" Evan said.
Athena nodded, Evan looked at Athena.
"You're so beautiful Athena, I'm lucky to have you. I remember when I first saw you. When it was X class, you were so cute. I really want to know you but I'm still shy myself" Evan said, hugging Athena.
"I've also liked you since X class" Athena said.
"really? well then our time is wasted. I should have expressed love to you" Evan said.
Athena smiled in Evan's arms, a bland smile. Although Athena recollects her memories of liking Evan. Recalling how he had missed her. However, I don't know why that feeling is not as happy as he once imagined.
"Evan, is the temperature raised? why does it feel so hot?" ask Athena.
This is the time, Evan.
"I didn't raise the temperature, I tried to check" Evan said, taking off his arms.
Athena grabs her hair with a pencil. Evan gulped when he saw Athena's white nape. Evan fiddled with his phone, looking at and recording the girl's movements. Putting the phone in position leads to Athena. The man approached and hugged Athena again, immediately kissing the girl's neck.
"If you're tired just let go of your dress" said Evan who immediately lowered the zipper dress Athena.
The girl backed away with an annoyed expression.
"Evan, what the fuck?" asked Athena while walking staggered.
"You must want it too" said Evan, pushing Athena into bed.
Evan immediately took a position on top of the girl. Athena thrashed, Evan pulled her dress. Athena held on with a painful head. Athena cries, asking Evan to let her go. However, the man became increasingly smirking Athena's lips.
Athena pushed Evan but her eyes grew blurred. Athena was getting weaker, Athena was still struggling even though she was getting weaker. The girl cried begging Evan to stop his actions.
Evan grew even more lustful, smirking his lips down to Athena's neck. The girl thrashed, not willing to Evan's treatment. Evan took off his shirt and threw it away. While she still kissed Athena's neck down to the girl's shoulder.
Evan wants to lower Athena's dress down even further when her body suddenly slams against the wall and falls unconscious. Athena looked at the figure standing before her. A bright shadow figure that almost resembled a fire.
"Axel?" athena tried to wake up.
The figure dashed out of the room, Athena immediately followed him.
"Axel wait" cried Athena who was running with a dazed step.
"Axel help me" said Athena trying to reach the flaming figure.
The figure walked down the stairs. Athena chases until she almost falls, waiting for Athena to climb down the stairs. Back the figure ran to the outside of the house.
Athena was still chasing, still calling out Axel's name. Although there was no reply, on the street of the housing was the figure standing waiting. Athena approached while crying.
"Axel, wait for me. I'm sorry Axel, give it back to me" said Athena, trying to touch the figure's face.
But the shadow was getting lit up to make the glare of Athena's eyes. It gets brighter and burns and disappears. Athena screamed, falling over and calling Axel's name. However, that figure had disappeared.
Athena wept on the side of the street of the luxury estate. The girl unceasingly called out Axel's name until a car pulled up nearby.
"Geez, son, what happened to you?" ask a middle-aged mother who is still very beautiful.
The mother tidied Athena's clothes and wiped away the girl's tears. Athena was still crying, the mother was confused. Athena fainted in her mother's arms. The mother finally asked the passerby to get Athena into her car.
Athena fainted, when she woke up Athena felt in an unfamiliar place. The girl was panicking.
"Calm down, you're safe here" said the beautiful mother.
Athena sat down while covering her face with both hands. The girl was panicked, sad and traumatized. The mother hugged Athena, rubbing her back.
"Don't be afraid, you're safe here" the mother said.
"Axel, don't go" said Athena quietly.
"Who? Axels? where's your house, son?" the mother asked to see the tears of Athena still flowing.
Athena did not reply, the girl was still as excited. The mother finally patiently waited for Athena to calm down. The mother drank water on the girl to make Athena a little calm.
"Tante, can you take me home?" ask Athena.
"Of course, you're gonna take Aunt home. But Auntie wants to know why you're on such a road?" ask the beautiful middle-aged woman.
It looks like the mother is almost the same age as her mother Athena. It looks very nice, nice and soft. From her style was like a mistress from the upper class and was clearly visible from the room where Athena was currently resting. The room looks so grand.
Hearing the mother's question, Athena again sobbed. She rubbed Athena's back.
"I was taken by my girlfriend to her house but when I got there, I was harassed" Athena said.
"Oh my goodness, son, how sorry are you. Oh my goodness, how could your girlfriend harass a girl as beautiful as you. Why are you at her house?" ask the mother again.
"He wanted to introduce me to his parents, but his parents were out of town. He wanted to force me to a aunt but fortunately Axel helped me" Athena told me.
"Who? Axel?" ask the mother.
"Tante probably won't believe it, Axel is my friend, he's a ghost in my school" Athena said.
"What's? a ghost? are you drunk? drug users?" ask the mother suspiciously.
"Aunty, I can see ghosts" said Athena.
"Indigo?" ask the mother again.
Although less sure of the mother's words, but finally Athena nodded. The mother finally believed and was grateful that Athena was finally helped so that she did not become tarnished.
"Auntie thinks Axel is?" said the mother spoke to herself.
Eventually Athena was driven home by her mother, and she begged her not to tell her parents about the incident. Athena did not want to make both of them worry and grieve.
"Tante, I'm sorry Athena couldn't offer Aunty to stop by" said Athena.
The mother nodded in understanding, if she came down and drove Athena to her house, Athena's parents would be suspicious and ask her why she could be with her instead of Evan.
"I will always remember the kindness of Auntie" said Athena thanked him and got out of the mother's car.
After waving Athena's hand into the house. Acting naturally like nothing happened, Athena's mother wanted to ask why Evan had not stopped by. However, seeing her tired-looking daughter finally let her daughter rest soon.
Athena immediately cleaned herself up and then lay on the bed.
"Axel where are you" said Athena.
"I'm here Athena"
Athena wakes up looking for the direction of the voice but sees no one. The girl called back but heard nothing in return.
Just my hallucinations, screams Athena's heart.
The girl closed her eyes while crying.
