CHAPTER 25 ~ Fake Grace ~

Athena opened the door of her room quietly. His mind floated on Evan's statement asking him to be the man's girlfriend. Athena sat down on the bed and fell flat on her back looking at the ceiling of her room.

Axel opens the girl's shoes, Athena is shocked by the girl's reflexes looking at the window. Yeah, it's changing time and Axel can touch and open the girl's shoes and socks. Athena refused but Axel did.

Axel even pushed Athena back to fall on her back. Axel continues to open the shoes of Athena's school. Then go to the bathroom, get some warm water and a small towel. The man massaged Athena's feet while soaking her in warm water.

"No need, Axel" said Athena.

"You must be sore because of the streets all day" said Axel still continue to massage Athena's legs.

" Yes, but no massage" said Athena.

"Why?" ask Axel.

"I'm ashamed" said Athena.

"Why embarrassed?" ask Axel.

"Yes, shame on me, I am your wife wearing all massage" said Athena.

"Yesterday you almost became my wife" Axel said as he dried Athena's feet.

"What does that mean? when?" ask Athena.

"When you turn yourself over to me" Axel replied.

Athena was stunned, Axel did not need to continue his words. Athena understood what the male ghost meant. If Axel did not reject it at that time they would have done things that only a couple should do.

Athena's tears rolled past her eyes. Axel approached Athena and looked at Athena's sad face.

"What's wrong?" ask Axel.

Athena shook her head.

Do you really love me Axel, can you see me with another man? if you love me, you won't be able to see me with Evan, if you love me, you won't reject me, you don't love me Axel, you don't really love me, inner Athena.

Athena did not want to tell him what the cause of her grief was, Axel did not dare to force her to tell a story. The man could only stroke the girl's hair to calm her down.

Anything Axel would do to make Athena happy. Provided she knew what the girl wanted but Athena did not say anything at all. As much as possible the man comforts Athena while Axel can still touch the girl.

The girl wrapped her hands around Axel's shoulders and pulled him closer. Athena wanted Axel to kiss her. The girl kept asking for it until Axel could no longer be touched.

Athena was like a frustrated girl, after which she immediately went to sleep unwilling to think of anything. Mama Athena was surprised that her daughter did not come down for dinner.

Knock on Athena's door and go inside. His daughter is still wearing a school uniform. Mama Athena touched her son's forehead to find out Athena's body temperature.

No fever? but why go straight to sleep? fatigue perhaps, the inner mama Athena.

"Darling, you didn't have dinner. Wake up, take a shower, that's dinner" said Athena's mother woke Athena up.

But Athena looked lazy, then went back to sleep. Mama Athena finally let her daughter sleep.

The girl had just woken up at night before morning, she had woken up faster than usual even before the turn of time. As soon as he woke up the girl immediately saw Axel who was lying down staring at him.

"There are two days left" said Athena.

"What's that?" ask Axel.

"The night of the farewell party, I had to answer Evan's request. What answer should I give you?" ask Athena.

"What's in your heart? want to be with him or not" Axel said.

I want to be with you, Inner Athena.

"He's real Athena, he's your life. I can only remind you that he is your first love, your true love. I still remember the first time I saw you so fascinated to see it that you were stunned" Axel said with a laugh.

Athena just smiled considering the time, when she was not so familiar with Axel. Evan was everything to Athena.

Axel was lying on his side facing Athena, the girl on her side facing Axel. Axel tells a long story reminiscent of Athena's past who liked Evan so much. But not a single bit Athena listened to him.

The girl was busy looking at Axel's lips which moved agilely telling a story. Athena was always fascinated to see Axel's smile. The girl felt at home looking at him for a long time until finally came the change of time. Athena immediately embraces Axel making the man pushed, Athena overtook Axel's body.

"I just want to marry you" Athena said.

"Yes well" Axel laughed and tidied Athena's hair by clipping it in her ear.

Axel just did that? sure doesn't. The man immediately attracted the beautiful girl he loved. Athena kissed the lips of the man she had wanted to kiss. Axel hugged Athena and further buried his lips, they did so to make Athena's breath stupefied. Axel was very fond of the breath of Athena who hit his face.

"The best courtship with ghosts, in free rooms no one suspects" said Athena.

Axel laughed, that also made Athena dare to surrender herself because no one in the house thought there was a man in Athena's room.

"If I'm married to Evan or anyone else, I'll still be dating you" Athena said.

"That means you're cheating on dong" Axel said, smiling.

"Yes, cheating as ghosts will not be caught" said Athena while laughing.

"That means I'm with you forever?" ask Axel idly.

"Yes, I will prepare a special room for you. No one can go there but me. If the time changes I'll date you" Athena fantasized.

Axel was stunned to hear Athena's delusion. The girl spoke mindlessly like a person who had been frustrated by worry. Axel let Athena vent her depressed feelings. The man felt a little guilty because his presence in Athena's life made the girl become upset.

Axel could only hope that Athena's current destabilization did not have a bad impact on him. The thing that Axel was most afraid of was Athena who was frustrated desperately giving herself to Evan and then resigned to love the man.

The closer the day comes, the more upset Athena and Evan's hearts get closer to Athens. Evan seemed to be all out using the opportunity to reach out to Athena's heart which he saw was still hesitant.

For the sake of success Evan appeared as a good-natured gentleman in front of friends Athena even in front of mama Athena. Evan often visits the girl's house and manages to win the heart of her mother Athena.

Athena just smiled knotingly, Evan had suddenly appeared before them. Athena's two friends immediately ran away, they wanted to go home and get ready for the party later tonight.

Seeing that Evan immediately pretended to be offended but they knew that Evan would be more pleased if he stayed alone with Athena.

"Where are we now?" evan said as he got into his car.

"Anyway home?" ask Athena.

"Don't dong, I still want to deket you" said Evan.

"What does that mean, can't tomorrow?" ask Athena.

"See, after tonight do you still want to know me. Usually if it has been rejected, the feeling of being awkward abis it so far away" said Evan.

"Why are you sure you refused?" ask Athena.

"A hunch? you look half-hearted. Even though I tried desperately to decetin you but your feelings are not sure of me. Though it used to be like you like me" explained Evan then lay down in the seat of his car.

Evan still has not started the car engine because he still hopes that Athena will still be taken for a walk.

"We watch yuk, there's a new exciting movie coming out. After that I drive you home so you can get ready for the party" Evan suggested.

Athena thought of Evan's idea.

Probably right, tonight was the last night I was with him. Maybe I'll turn it down and we'll be like strangers after that. Maybe I can't take it because I can't beat Axel, who knows what's going to happen? inner Athena was worried.

"Alright, we watch first, but it's gone straight home do not go anywhere else afraid I don't hunt get ready" said Athena.

"Every one of my daughters" said Evan eagerly turn on his car engine.

They are right to watch in the cinema, the film aired in the afternoon is usually not too crowded. It was an opportunity for Evan to act more boldly. The man did not want his struggle to be in vain.

Then the girl glanced back at the corner but saw nothing. Athena looked back at the mirror, immediately startled to see someone standing next to her.

Athena ran out of the toilet until she stopped in front of the studio entrance. Evan who had been waiting there was astonished to see the pale face of Athena.

"You why? like seeing a ghost?" ask Evan.

Athena's reflexes nodded, Evan was shocked. His question was answered seriously by Athena.

"In the toilet, it was awful, his face half charred in flames. Terrible Evan" said Athena, crying with fear.

Evan grabbed Athena into his arms. Hugging the girl to calm her down, Evan wanted Athena to feel safe in his arms.

"Here, there's nothing else, here you're safe with me" Evan said, hugging Athena tightly.

Athena was silent, the girl was still busy adjusting her breathing. His heart was pounding, his body was trembling. Evan took the girl to sit in the waiting chair. They no longer care about the movie. Evan was still hugging Athena who was shocked to see the invisible creature.

"You can see astral beings?" ask Evan.

Athena nodded in Evan's arms, the girl couldn't possibly lie anymore. In fact, he had revealed that he had seen a subtle creature with a terrible appearance.

"Since childhood?" ask Evan again.

"Recently" replied Athena.

"Why could that be? are you studying occult science? " ask Evan.

Athena shook her head and moved to sit down. The girl lowered her head while occasionally wiping away her tears.

"I was suddenly able to see the supernatural after fainting at the school rooftop" Athena told the publication.

"At the school rooftop? what are you doing there?" ask Evan.

"He lied to you, no one who does good gets the gift of the ability to see supernatural beings. People have that ability because in him there has indeed been a genie that makes humans able to see subtle creatures" explained Evan.

"What?" athena was shocked.

"Humans can only see humans, genies can only see jinn. If there is a human who can see the jinn means that in humans there is a genie that can make him see the creatures of his neighbor, the jinn as well. There are also those who do not have a genie in him but that person has a science that is deliberately studied to be able to see supernatural beings or people who are accustomed to being close to supernatural things. In my opinion, you can now see the ghost because you know and associate with the ghost you see on the rooftop" Evan explained at length.

"Isn't it because I'm gifted with the ability to see?" ask Athena.

"Your real-world and magical barrier is getting thinner because it gets along with the supernatural" said Evan.
