Grandfather Robert's Will

Grandfather Robert's Will
Chapter 14's

Jenson turned off his laptop. As he sat in silence, he knew he could work at Robert's grandfather's house. He's done it before, but never for a long time. What he does not know is that he can work so well, so quickly or so satisfactorily. Actually, he never expected to be good friends with Rachel. Indeed with him is not like a picnic, contemplate Jenson while playing with a pencil that has been blunt between his fingers.

They quarreled, of course, it was also certain that they would fight, at least they did not tear each other apart. Or at least the shreds are not too big. Come to think of it, it turns out that he enjoyed the night as they played cards, for no other reason than the challenge of trying to catch Rachel's cheating wet. So far he hasn't managed to do so.

Jenson felt she had a strange attraction she felt towards the woman. It's not in the script. But so far he is still able to ignore, control, or hide it. But there will come a time, Jenson's mind while rising and stretching, he wants to silence Rachel's mouth in a more satisfying way. Just to see what the consequences will be like afterwards, he told himself. Curiosity toward others is part of his nature. He was very curious to see how the girl would react if she pulled him into her arms and kissed him limp.

He let his little laugh explode as it inched towards the window. Squeezy? Rachel's? Women like Rachel never soften. Jenson may be able to satisfy his curiosity, but he will get a fist in the stomach in return. It might even be worth the value….

Rachel was not silent. He was convinced that from the first day they walked together from his workshop. Jenson saw it on his face, heard it, no matter how short his tone was. The two of them had been observing each other for two weeks. Or twenty years, Jenson speculates.

With the other woman, he had never felt exactly the same feeling he had towards Rachel Cecilion. Clumsy, challenged, angry. In fact, it is almost always easy to face a woman. She likes them because of their femininity, their odd strengths and weaknesses, their style. Perhaps that was the reason for his success in relationships, even though he carefully made it short-term.

If he's dating a woman, it's because he's interested in her, not in the end result of the relationship. Yes, he was interested in Rachel, but he never considered dating her. It was surprising to him that he found himself once or twice considering seducing her.

Seducing, of course, is a very different matter than courting. But come to think of it, he didn't know if trying to seduce Rachel a little bit would be worth the risk.

If he offers a candlelit dinner or a walk in the night or a crazy night of passion with Rachel, he will reply with sarcastic remarks. Which would, without being able to avoid, trigger some scathing rebuttals of his own. The comedy will start again.

Under no circumstances, what Jenson wants for Rachel is not romance. He just wants to satisfy his curiosity. In some circumstances, it is best to remember what happened to the brave cat. But at the thought of Rachel, her gaze was directed to her study.

The two of them were not really different, Jenson said. Rachel could insist from sunrise to sunset that they had nothing in common, but Robert's grandfather was better able to describe the true circumstances. They were both quick to blood up, opinionated hard, and very passionate in protecting their respective professions. He locked himself away with his laptop for hours. Rachel shut herself up with her equipment and torch. The end result of their work is entertainment. And anyway, it's…

Her daydream stopped when she saw Rachel's office door open. Strange, he doesn't think Rachel's back. Jenson's workspace is located in the opposite part of the house when viewed from the garage, so she will definitely hear Rachel's car sound, but she thinks Rachel will give her order first.

He almost hit Nyoman. “Rachel is back?” inquiringly.

“Not yet, Mr.” replied, relieved not to be killed by Jenson. “Say she might be long in the mall and shopping for her feminine needs. We don't have to worry if..”.

But Jenson was already in the middle of the corridor.

Sighing lamenting the agility she had not had for the past thirty years, Nyoman stepped slowly into the living room to light the fireplace.

Suddenly the wind hit Jenson as soon as he stepped foot outside, reminding him that he did not have time to take his jacket. As he began to rush towards Rachel's study, his face grew cold and his muscles warmed. There was no one there, he slightly lowered his step speed.

A wandering prankster? Jenson. Rachel was lucky if the prankster didn't bag half of his precious stones. It was well worth it to him.

But Jenson changed her mind as soon as she stood at the door of the woman's workshop.

The boxes were overturned so that jewels, stones, and beads scattered everywhere. The rolling of the rope and the fastening thread have been broken, tangled, also tied from one wall to another. He had to push some of them to open the entrance. What was normally almost pure in order, was now an immense chaos. The gold and silver wires had been bent and broken, and the tools were thrown away on the floor.

Jenson knelt down and picked up an emerald. It glittered greenish in his palm. If it wasn't the thief who got in here, the break up, it would have been a careless and short-minded person.

“Yes Lord!” Rachel dropped her bag until it made a thud, then glared.

As Jenson turned around, she saw Rachel standing at the door, ice-pale and stiff. Jenson swore, hoping she would have a minute to prepare for Rachel. “Quiet first,” he said as he grabbed the girl's arm.
