Grandfather Robert's Will

Grandfather Robert's Will
Chapter 43's

“I am indeed weak,” ruk Nyoman, but still picked up the lap. When Rachel walked into the kitchen, she saw Jesica lying on the chair with her eyes closed and Nyoman standing by her side fanning the cloth on her face.

“Yes God, what is this Nyoman, did Jesica faint?” Before the question could answer, Rachel had rushed to him. “Call Jenson,” the command. “Quick call Jenson.” He told Nyoman to leave, then bowed. “Jesica, this is Rachel. Are you sick?” tanyanya's worried.

Jesica could barely contain her sigh of satisfaction, she left her eyes open and wished to look pale before Rachel. “Oh, Miss, don't worry. I was just a little tired at work. Lately my heart has been pounding as if it can't be controlled.”

“I'll call doctor.” Rachel had just walked a step as her hand reached out with an unexpected, powerful grasp.

“It is not necessary.” Jesica made her voice sound soft and tired. “A few months ago I went to the doctor and said I should be prepared to continue experiencing these kinds of things.”

“Oh my God,” Rachel is getting worried. “You've been working too hard, and it should be stopped immediately.”

A little tickle of guilt crawled over Jesica when she realized the enormous care Rachel had. “Do not do so, miss. I can't stop working, just like that.”

“What is this?” Jenson emerged from behind the kitchen door. “Jesica?” He knelt down next to the old woman and grabbed her hand again.

“I so make you guys worry,” In the heart Jesica jumped and cheered. “I'm just a little tired. The doctor said I should be careful. There was only a slight disturbance in my aged heart this, that's all.” Nyoman looked closely as the man entered the kitchen. It seemed that he looked quite fierce until Nyoman caught the signal he was giving.

“You should rest in bed for two or three days,” Nyoman said.

Jesica is satisfied because Nyoman remembers what she had to say, she then pretends to rebuke. “Omong empty. I'll be fine in a few minutes. There's a dinner I should cook.”

“You won't cook anything.” Without a warning Jenson immediately carried him. “You rest in bed.”

“Then who will clean-up?” sue Jesica. “I won't let Nyoman mess up in my kitchen.”

Jenson was barely out of the room with Jesica before Nyoman recalled her next move, but coughed.

“Listen to it!” jesica said as she leaned her head against Jenson's shoulder. “I won't sleep around and let it infect my kitchen.”

“How long have you been coughing?” search Rachel. As Nyoman started muttering, Rachel stood up. “That's enough. You two rest in the room. Jenson and I are going to clean things up.” He grabs Nyoman's arm and begins to lead her to Nyoman's room. “You rest in the room and do not argue. I'll make you both tea. Jenson, make sure that Nyoman rests, I'll take care of Jesica.”

Within half an hour, Jesica managed to get them in the state he wanted. Make up.

“Well, they had rested and had no fever," said Rachel feeling satisfied, she poured tea for herself. “I think all they need is a few days' rest and a little pampered. Want tea?”

Jenson frowned at the idea and moved on to coffee.

“Yes, I thought the same thing, better they both rest in bed. We can take turns keeping them.”

“Mmm-hmm.” Rachel opened the fridge and watched. “How about cooking? Can you cook?”

“Coach?” Rachel raised a plastic lid expectantly. “I can bake steak and scramble eggs. The others are not very reliable.”

“You're not good at cooking.” Jenson joins Rachel who is rummaging through the fridge. “That's half apple cobbler.”

“It's hardly like food anymore.”

“Make me okay-okay.” Jenson took it out and looked for the spoon. Rachel watched Jenson sit behind the table and scoop her up. “Mau?”

Rachel refuses based on her principles, she doesn't want a mouthful with Jenson, she goes to the cupboard, she finds a bowl. “How about the sick?” ask her while scooping cobbler.

“Sup,” replied Jenson while chewing. “There is nothing better than a warm soup. Although first of all I will let them rest first.”

Nodding in agreement, Rachel sat opposite Jenson. “Jenson..” His speech was interrupted while stirring his cobbler. The steam from his tea soared between them. For days he had been thinking about bringing up the matter to Jenson. It seems that the time has come. “I've been thinking. In two months, the will will reach the final. When Zephaniah sent us an email last week, she said that Grandpa Robert's lawyers advised her to drop her charges.”

“So?”

“This house, along with its contents, will be half yours, half mine.”

“That's right.”

Bite his cobbler again, then put the spoon. “Why are you smiling?”

“You are very beautiful. It's so comfortable to be sitting here, alone in the kitchen, in silence, and looking at you.”

That kind of thing, that made Rachel feel like she was flying. A moment he stared at the man, then dropped his gaze into the bowl. “I hope you no longer turn over me, with ludicrous words.”

“No, I'm not in a fight. I said what I felt.”

“Serah.” Rachel gave herself a moment, carefully scooping her cobbler. “Each of us will be the owner of this house, but we will not live together here anymore. Jesica and Nyoman will be here alone. I'm worried about them. Especially after this incident, it made me even more worried. They can't just stay here.”

“Yes, I think you're right. Do you have any ideas?”

“I've mentioned that I'm considering staying here semi-permanently.” Suddenly, Rachel's appetite disappears and she switches back to her tea. “I think I'll make it permanent only.”

Jenson heard signs of nervousness in the tone of her cousin's voice. “Because of Nyoman and Jesica?”

“Part.” Rachel sipped her tea again, put down her cup, and fiddled with her cobbler. He is not used to discussing his decisions with others. Although it was difficult for him, he had realized that he had a duty to carry out. Furthermore, he realized that he needed to talk to Jenson, and became like he was incapable of on another level of honesty. “I always thought of Robert’s as my home, but I didn't realize how big it was. I need it, for myself. You know, I've never had a real home.” He looked up and looked at Jenson. “Only here I feel it.”
