Grandfather Robert's Will

Grandfather Robert's Will
Chapter 3

Rachel still remembers Jenson's opinion of lifestyle and career, when they were at odds. The woman instead took full advantage of her master's degree in education, but Rachel was busy designing jewelry for a famous boutique in the capital, which was always criticized by Jenson. Jenson calls Rachel idealistic, because Rachel has a trait that never gives up on achieving her goals

While Rachel calls Jenson materialistic, because Jenson only views happiness or achievement from the material side. He also nicknamed Jenson a chauvinist, because Jenson overdone it when writing the script of the ridiculous television series.

Jenson nicknamed Rachel an intellectual pseudo, because she was someone who just wanted to look smart on one topic without really understanding what they were talking about.

Robert always sat with his arms folded whenever the two of them argued. Now that Grandpa Robert was gone, there was no longer a chance to fight anymore.

Surprisingly Jenson considers her battle with Rachel as an excuse to miss her Grandpa. In fact, he had never felt this kind of familial bond toward anyone but Grandpa Robert.

Jenson doesn't think about her own parents very often. His father was in Padang with his fourth wife, and his mother had been living with her third number husband. They never understood his son who chose to make a living in such a difficult field as television.

But Grandpa Robert could understand and understand it more than that, also more important for Jenson, Robert's grandfather enjoyed his works.

A grin was plastered on Jenson's face when she heard Zephaniah describe with a rambling will about a starving whale. Truly Robert's trademark, hiss impatiently came out of their mouths.

One hundred and fifty billion had just escaped their reach. Jenson looked up to look at the portrait of his Grandfather that was larger than the original. “The only problem here is that you're not here to laugh at the will you wrote" Jenson murmured in a photo of Robert's grandfather.

“To my son, Diara Yosef..” All babbling and whispering suddenly disappeared as Zephaniah cleared his throat. Rachel observed her relatives and began to pay attention to them when the will for charity and the servants had been read, now the main part was waiting for.

Zephaniah looked up briefly before continuing, “Yang already has his own life, but looks mediocre. I left my entire collection of magic tricks in the hope that he could develop madness in her.”

Rachel choked behind her knife and saw the look on Uncle Yosef's face that turned crimson. “Score first for you, Grandpa Robert.” Inner Rachel while getting ready to laugh, she thought maybe Grandpa Robert would bestow his entire estate and business on an orphanage or nursing home.

“To Bradley and Lorraine, I give you the best prayer for both of you, because they don't need anything else.”

Rachel gulped while trying to stem her tears when she heard the names of her parents called. That night he called his parents who were in Borneo. His parents will accept whatever Robert's grandfather gives them.

“To my nephew Walt whom I once gave the first hundred thousand dollars from the opening of my chocolate drink business, I now give the last hundred thousand dollars from the closing of the business, complete with the frame. To my niece, Paulin, I left my cottage in Bandung without much hope she had the initiative to use it.”

“For my grandson, Yagil, I left behind my collection of matches, in the hope that he would use them well, even though in the end he might burn the world. To my beautiful granddaughter, Bianca, who also loves pretty things, I left behind a mirror that she says she used to wear by Rose Black Pink, her favorite girl group. To my grandson, David, I've left 50 million. I think it's enough to buy rice supplies for him for life.”

The grunts that had begun since the reading of the first part of the inheritance continued and were increasingly widespread. The aggravation began to creep into overwhelming anger. Grandpa Robert would definitely love it. Rachel made the mistake of glancing at Jenson. At the moment the man was not as usual he looked unfriendly or foreign, but full of admiration. When they met a glance, the little laugh that Rachel had been trying to hold back came out as well. That made him glared at by a few people.

Diara Tito got up, the anger was uncontrollable. “Mrs. Zephaniah,” says Tito.

“My father's testament is nothing more than a joke. It was obvious that his mind was out of his mind when he made it, so this division of inheritance was very unreasonable, my father's treasures were very numerous, there was no way he would not give any money to his son, I also have no doubt that the court will reject him,” Tito continued.

“Mr. Tito.” Once again Zephaniah cleared his throat. The sun began to appear from behind the clouds, but no one seemed to notice. “I understand how you feel about this. After all, the state of my client at the time of making this will is very good. He may have made it not to your expectations, but the will is legitimate and binding. You are, of course, free to consult your own legal counsel. Right now, there's so much more I need to read.”

“Omong empty.” Walt said as he exhaled his cigar smoke and glared at everyone present. “Omong is empty,” the reset when Mega pats her arm and shakes her free.

“Grandfather likes nonsense,” said Rachel while rem*s his knife, his speech distracts him from suffering. “If Robert's grandfather wants to bequeath his money to the Foundation, that's his right. It's his money so like he wants to be in his money.”

“Very easily you talk like that.” Yagil rubbed the nails on his lap until they were shiny. The golden circle on his finger was struck by sunlight and glistened. “Maybe the old madman left a lump of thread to you so you could string more beads again.”

“You haven't got the matches yet, Yagil.” Jenson said lazily from the corner where he was, but all eyes were on him.

“Be careful what you say," Yagil replied.

“You can all be silent? let him continue reading again the beard suart,” timpal Bianca, he is quite satisfied with the legacy he will receive. How not satisfied, the legacy he will receive was once used by Rose Black Pink which is very idolized by Bianca, even though it is just a mirror.

“The last two legacies are combined,” Zephaniah said before another interrupt. “And this, a little unorthodox.”

“The whole will was unusual,” Joseph growled, then cleared his throat. Some of the heads seemed to agree.

Rachel remembers why she always avoids family gatherings. They all bored him to death. Almost intentionally, he waved in front of his mouth and yawned. “Can we listen to the rest, Mrs. Zephaniah, before my family embarrasses themselves more?”
