Grasping
The Part 18

The white Alphard had stopped in front of Bejo's pack house. Niar's arrival attracted the attention of neighbors who crowded in front of the house.

Niar hurriedly got out of the car and got into the house. "Assalamu'alaikum." Niar said hello. It turns out that at the house of Mr. Bejo there are already five people sitting in the living room.

"Mr ... Mother," call Niar and sit next to Bejo's pack.

"Son, are you given permission to go home? Almost four hours they're here, not leaving before we pay the debt" Mr. Bejo cast his voice.

"This is my son coming home, sir. He must have brought money." Sumiati directly pointed at Niar who had just sat down.

"Quick pay! You made us wait a long time! If you don't get paid, get the hell out of this house!" One of the dept collectors spoke in a high tone.

"Please sir, how much does my father owe me?" ask Niar.

One of them gave Niar a piece of paper. Black receivable agreement paper on white, with the stamp on it to strengthen the law.

When Niar observes the nominal number listed, Niar's eyeballs widen perfectly with his mouth open. "Se– one hundred du–a fifty five ju–ta, sir?" Niar stuttered to mention the fantastic numbers.

"A hundred and twenty-five million are included with the flowers"

"Mom ... how much do you owe me?" said Niar slowly. Niar is too shocked to know his mother's debt is so much. He thought it was only a few tens of millions, but without thinking it could reach hundreds of millions. The dept collector almost confiscated his house.

"Our boss can't tolerate any more time. You have to pay your debts today!" One of the Dept Collectors spoke again. "Too long ago Sumiati did not pay the interest, we were authorized to confiscate this house if you can not pay."

"Sir, please give us some time. This amount is too much, we have to collect the money." Niar is asking for an extension of time.

"Can't, Ma'am! There's been a lot of time we've given." he said.

"Sir, isn't the deadline still one month away? Gentlemen should have given us some more time." Sumiati.

One of them called. Involved in serious conversation. Niar used the opportunity to talk to Sumiati.

"Mom, what's that debt for?"

"Eh stupid boy! What are you asking for, huh? You think our lives are enough? Ask your father, how much does he love you? Not enough for your needs and daily needs! Don't be afraid! Do you remember what your salary was at the laundry? Five hundred thousand is just enough to eat a week!" Sumiati even nagged at length.

"Talking to your mother won't solve the problem, Niar. Precisely make it more dizzy," said Mr. Bejo.

"Mom, even though our needs are many and our lives are lacking, there should be no need to owe moneylenders. Moreover, the interest to be paid 25 percent. That's too high, Mom. What we pay for it."

"Mom, enough! Why do you always talk about it!" Just this time Niar shouted in front of Sumiati. The wound that was pensive seemed to destroy the fortress until Niar was able to return the gaze of Sumiati who looked at him with hatred.

"Niar," call Mr. Bejo stroking his son's back, hoping Niar is as quiet as ever. This is not a good time to fight and blame each other. If everything is in the brunt of anger then the situation will be more complicated.

"We don't want to see your quarrel! Our boss gave us two days, paid off his debts immediately. If not, we'll completely confiscate this house. Remember ...only two days!" one of them gave a warning.

"Okay sir, we will try," replied Mr. Bejo.

"Excuse me" he said. The five dept collectors stood up. One of them was grumbling. "Huh ..waste of time! Four hours we've been here with no results,"

After they left. Nesva just got home and went straight into the house. "Mother" Nesva chose to sit next to her mother.

"This is the root of the problem!" cynical sir Bejo sneered at Nesva.

"Mr! Nesva just came home, don't be upset with her" Sumiati said in defense of her son.

"What's different about Niar, Mom? He just came home and you fucked him with a fucking carrier! Inget, he is also your son, your flesh and blood! You were pregnant for nine months, just like you were pregnant with Nesva. But even if you never loved your own daughter. The eyes of your heart are closed with hatred for the presence of Niar that you do not want!" This time Mr. Bejo's anger is inflamed. He looked at Sumiati sharply.

"I didn't want her to be born, I hated having that child. When I was pregnant with Niar, I almost lost my life! When the midwife did the USG and told me that I was pregnant with a boy why did another girl have to come out? Not until there, you lost your job right at the time the child was born. My father and mother died on the way to the hospital to see the boy. What's his name if not the son of a pesky carrier! Nesva gets less affection because I'm depressed about her! Ah ... I hate the presence of that boy! If only I had killed him then, maybe continuous misfortune wouldn't have happened. It's all because of you preventing me from killing that son of a bitch!" Sumiati shouted in front of Bejo's pack and his two children.

Niar cried as he listened to the expression of the mother who expressed all the hatred before him. Is it just because she hates her presence? Is there a reason for a mother to hate her own child.

"Mom, can Niar ask to be born from which mother? Present in whose family? Can Niar ask God for that? If Niar can choose, it is better that Niar is not born into the world if my presence is never expected." Niar's tears don't stop flowing. He turned to look at his father. "Sir, why did you have to prevent Mom from killing me? I would rather go back to God than live like this. 18 years Niar lived without justice and complete compassion. Niar has feelings too, sir, Mom. Niar is tired of living a life like this. To bear anything by yourself. I had thought that I was not your biological child, until one day I could go find a biological family that could accept and treat me well. But ... This fact is more painful for me to accept, when the biological child is hated because his presence is not expected. Who should I complain to? Who should I blame?"

There's something I want to tell you. That the reason Sumiati hated Niar may have been less powerful, but it never happened. If told by Taka, akak Mei emphasized that the attitude of children is different. Here akak may convey if the affection of parents is there that distinguishes the advantages of one child with another child.

I hope, be wise to draw conclusions and lessons. As a parent, be fair as possible. The slightest thing can cause envy if the treatment of parents is not the same. Give our children understanding in a gentle way and always approach them so that they are comfortable complaining to us.
