Chapter 18 Not giving up

One thing that Hani could not avoid at this time. He had to answer Aulia's request. 

Honestly, who would want to allow their partner to cheat even though they are still dating? Hani is like that too. Instead of allowing her boyfriend to have a relationship with another woman, Hani prefers to break off their relationship. 

"Sorry Mommy, but–"

"You're selfish! You are only concerned about yourself! I'm sure you're dating Abhiyasa because you know who he really is. There's no way a woman like you can like an ordinary cop" Aulia bluntly accused.

"Enough! I'm not that low!" sahut Hani sternly and stared intently at Aulia who was grinning at him.

Without them both realizing, Abhiyasa who was outside the toilet heard their conversation earlier. Toilets that are designed without doors like toilets in public places can be easily heard from outside.

Abhiyasa was there from the beginning. She doesn't want to leave Hani alone without him. He took her to the toilet and waited for her in front of the toilet.

It is not suspected if the bad feeling occurs. Abhiyasa's hands clenched hearing everything Aulia said to Hani.

However, he could not directly enter the female toilet. The area is off limits to men.

"If indeed you are not that low, try to give Abhiyasa a chance to establish a relationship with me," said Aulia firmly as if challenging Hani.

Just a few days to get to know Hani, Abhiyasa knows that Hani does not like to fight with others. So it can be ascertained if Hani will not return Aulia's words.

"Our relationship isn't messing around. So it's better for me to end our relationship than to allow her to cheat" Hani told Aulia, who still forced her.

"Goodoo. Then it's better to just cut off your relationship. I'm sure Abhiyasa will be happier with me because I know her better than you" Aulia said with a grin.

Enough, Abhiyasa did not want to listen more than that. He also did not want Hani's heart to be sad because of all Aulia said to him.

"Honey! Honey! Where are you Hon?!" exclaimed Abhiyasa who seemed to be looking for him.

"Yes, one minute!" hani shouted from inside the toilet while staring intently at Aulia.

"Honey! Why so long? Is there a problem?" abhiyasa exclaimed from outside the toilet.

Hani walks out of the toilet leaving Aulia still standing there.

"Abhi, is there another toilet?" hani asked Abhiyasa when he was in front of the toilet.

Without asking any further, Abhiyasa immediately took Hani to his room on the top floor.

"Please Honey. The toilet is right there" Abhiyasa said, pointing to the room in the corner.

Abhiyasa waited for Hani by looking at the surrounding scenery through the glass window of the room.

Hani came out of the toilet and walked over to Abhiyasa. He looked in amazement at the cityscape seen from the glass window.

"This is your office?" ask Abhiyasa Hani who still enjoys the night atmosphere of the city.

Abhiyasa turned his head towards the side where Hani was standing next to him. He smiled and grabbed Hani's shoulder as he said,

"Look at the sight, beautiful isn't it? The flickering lights of the city turned out to look beautiful also from above."

Hani smiled while nodding his head. He agreed to Abhiyasa's words. The view of the city at night turns out to be very beautiful when viewed from the right place.

Hani turned towards Abhiyasa. He looked at his girlfriend's face as if he wanted to say something.

However, what he wanted to ask was that it could not come out of his mouth. His heart forbade him to say that.

"Not to think about it. Pity your beautiful brain if you think too much about useless things," said Abhiyasa while gently rubbing Hani's hair.

At once Hani was wide-eyed to hear Abhiyasa's words to her. Then he said,

"How do you know if I'm thinking about something?"

Abhiyasa chuckled at the question from his lover. He pinched Hani's gnarled nose as he said,

"What do I not know about you?"

Hani crossed both hands in front of his chest while looking at Abhiyasa with his eyes narrowed and said,

"Don't tell me you know anything else."

Instantly Abhiyasa's laughter broke. He pinched the second squash of Hani's cheeks and said,

"It's funny you."

Hani took Abhiyasa's hands off her cheeks and said,

"I should be a comedian, not a banker."

Abhiyasa laughed again at Hani's words. He was really amused by Hani's presence in his life.

The sound of the door being knocked from outside by someone.

"Sorry sir, your friends are looking for you."

The sound of the restaurant manager calling Abhiyasa was accompanied by a knock on the door from him.

Abhiyasa and Hani turned to the door. Then they looked at each other and smiled.

"Let's get Honey out. Remember, don't think about anything else. You can only think about your handsome girlfriend, this is all," Abhiyasa said, chuckling.

Hani smiled at Abhiyasa's self-proud speech.

They went down the stairs with Abhiyasa holding Hani's hand. It did not escape the sight of everyone who was there.

Aulia looked annoyedly at Hani. He deliberately came to the event in order to talk to Abhiyasa. Unfortunately with Hani's presence near Abhiyasa makes Aulia's plans fall apart.

Abhiyasa invites Hani to gather with his friends. He did not want to leave Hani alone. Moreover, he saw Aulia who had been watching him.

Hani was truly a great guest in the event. Abhiyasa prepared his own table for them to eat together.

After they finished eating, Abhiyasa again invited Hani to gather with his friends. They can make Hani comfortable. Even their jokes could be followed by Hani without offending anyone.

Time is rolling fast too. The show has ended. They all left the restaurant with happy hearts. Except Aulia who did not feel happy at all since the arrival of Abhiyasa who took Hani joined them.

"Yasa, I want to talk."

A female voice stops Abhiyasa and Hani from getting into the car.

Hani and Abhiyasa turned their heads towards the source of the sound. Not far from them stood Aulia alone.

"What's wrong? Why don't you go home with the others? Go home, the day is getting late" said Abhiyasa who seemed not to want to listen to anything from Aulia's mouth.

Aulia walked up to Abhiyasa without looking at Hani. He also said,

"Yasa, I want to talk to you alone."
