Chapter 33 When is marriage?

Hani blocks Abhiyasa who wants to justify the questions her mother asks her and Hani.

Abhiyasa wanted to say everything Aulia did to their relationship. Not to complain, but rather because Abhiyasa never lied to anyone, especially to his parents.

However, Hani does not want if Aulia's name is bad in front of the Abhiyasa family. Moreover, Aulia is a substitute doctor for Abhiyasa's grandmother. 

"Why Hani? Is something wrong?" ask Abhiyasa's mother when she sees Hani holding Abhiyasa's hand to stop Abhiyasa from answering her mother's question.

"No Ma'am. I'm just.." Hani can't go on with her words.

He did not find a proper reason to answer Abhiyasa's mother's question to him.

Abhiyasa's mother smiled at Hani who was impressed to cover up all Aulia's actions to her. Then he said,

"Mom think.Mom understands now. Even without you two explaining everything. From your current attitude and face alone, I can already judge everything."

Laura felt guilty. He felt sad and afraid if Abhiyasa's mother was disappointed in him.

"Sorry Mom, I'm just–"

"Why is Hani apologizing to Mom?" ask Abhiyasa's mother while smiling at Hani.

"Because.. because Hani.

Abhiyasa's mother smiled back at him. He felt that Hani was acting as she should. Then he said,

"Hani is not wrong. So Hani doesn't have to apologize to Mom."

"That's it. Let's stop this conversation. Aren't we going to eat together?" abhiyasa's grandmother's voice brought their conversation to a halt. 

Abhiyasa's mother chuckled at the warning from her mother. Then he said,

"Well, I'll prepare the food."

Hani immediately got up from his seat and said,

"Hani help Mom."

However, Abhiyasa's grandmother's hand stops Hani.

"Hani is here to accompany Grandma. Look at that, the wound has not been treated," Abhiyasa's grandmother said, pointing at the wound on Hani's hand.

Hani smiles broadly at Abhiyasa's grandmother. Then he said,

"Hani forgot Grandma."

"Yes, let Hani here just accompany Grandma. Yasa goes with Mom, get her the medicine" Abhiyasa's mother said, pulling her son's hand to follow her.

Abhiyasa's mother took the medicine box in her room. While Abhiyasa, he waited for his mother in the kitchen to pick up a drink.

"This is the medicine box" Abhiyasa's mother said, handing over the medicine box to her son, who was drinking mineral water in front of the fridge.

Abhiyasa threw a bottle of mineral water that he had drunk to the trash that was nearby. Then she received the medicine box and took two bottles of mineral water from the fridge for her and to give it to Hani.

"Yasa bring this in first yes Ma'am," said Abhiyasa while carrying a medicine box and two bottles of mineral water in his hands.

"Yasa, I like Hani. But... You know about marriage?"  abhiyasa's mother's voice stops Abhiyasa from leaving the place.

Abhiyasa looked at his mother and smiled at her. Then he said,

"Yasa knows Mom. Hani knows that too. We're still looking for a way out, ma'am. Mom just calm down. I'm definitely gonna be having our wedding party soon."

Had I not come here to call Abhiyasa, I would not have heard all this, Hani said in her heart while holding her chest which suddenly hurt to hear the talk of Abhiyasa and her mother.

"Mother would be very happy if you two were a match," Abhiyasa's mother said with a smile and rubbed her son's shoulders affectionately.

"Yasa knows Mom. Hani is a good girl. God willing, if God allows, we will be united" Abhiyasa said with confidence.

Hani's eyes glazed over hearing Abhiyasa's words. He felt so meaningful to his girlfriend. Until she felt her tears dripping down her cheeks.

Hani immediately wiped his tears and he immediately moved from the place when he saw Abhiyasa was walking away from his place.

"Where's Hani?" abhiyasa's grandmother asked Hani who had just entered her room.

Hani sat back in the chair near Abhiyasa's grandmother, smiling and saying,

"Abhi's here soon, Grandma."

Only a few seconds later, Abhiyasa entered the room.

"Honey, this, drink first" Abhiyasa said as he held out a bottle of mineral water to Hani.

Hani received the bottle and said,

"Thank you Abhi."

Abhiyasa smiled in response to the thanks Hani gave her. Then he sat down on the chair next to Hani. Abhiyasa painstakingly treated the wounds on Hani's elbow and hand.

Hani just looked at Abhiyasa with a grateful look. He felt a feeling of love and affection that flowed from the hand of his lover. Even Abhiyasa blew the wound while treating it.

Then he crouched down and treated the wound on Hani's knee. He also blew on the wound while applying the medicine. 

Hani only grimaces the pain in his wound when treated by Abhiyasa. And the very beautiful scenery made Abhiyasa's grandmother smile to see the form of attention of her grandson to her partner.

"Hold a minute Honey. After this it will not hurt anymore" Abhiyasa said when he stopped blowing the wound.

Hani forced her smile with her grimacing facial expression. He saw the earnestness of Abhiyasa's eyes that made him fall more and more in love with her.

"You remind Grandma of Grandpa. Grandma had also experienced the same thing with Hani. And that makes Grandma even more in love with Grandpa" Abhiyasa's grandmother said with a chuckle.

A red tinge colored Hani's face. Somehow he felt Abhiyasa's grandmother as if she was insinuating him, because that was what Hani felt at this time.

"Just calm down, Grandma, we will be the successors to Grandpa and Grandma. Isn't that Honey?" abhiyasa responded to his grandmother's remarks by asking for support from Hani.

The question from Abhiyasa made Hani feel embarrassed. She could only blush in embarrassment without saying anything to respond to a question from Abhiyasa to her.

Suddenly the door of the room opened. Abhiyasa's mother went into the room and said,

"The food is ready. Let's eat now. Dad just came."

"Come Nek. Let Yasa carry Grandma yes," Abhiyasa said as he prepared to carry his grandmother.

"Honey, don't be jealous. It will be your turn to be alone" Abhiyasa said while holding his grandmother.

Abhiyasa's grandmother and mother laughed at Abhiyasa's joke. In contrast to Hani who looks increasingly embarrassed seduced by her own lover.

Abhi... What do you want? Why do you like to make my heart beat this fast? Hani grumbled in his heart.

When they had all gathered at the dining table, Abhiyasa's father came out of his room. With his trademark smile, Abhiyasa's father sat in his chair and greeted Hani.

"Is this what Hani is called? When are you going to get married?"
