Honey And Toxins (Not a Common Contract)

Honey And Toxins (Not a Common Contract)
Chapter 18: The investigation of the victims

The Detective office...

Sam made a list of the victims' names on a board. He also analyzed how they were indirectly related to the fire.

"This serial murder began 10 years ago. There have been 15 fatalities.11 of them were Lawyers, Police, former GT grub employees and two freelancers. Then three children under age.

The first child was 11 years old, he died about 9 years ago. His mother was a part-time worker at the meetinghouse.

The second child is 9 years old, he is the son of a freelancer. Three days after the fire broke out, he received large sums of money through a personal account.

And the 14-year-old third child, the only grandson of the Excel Group Leader. It is known that he was several times involved in cooperation with the Director of GT grub."

Sam paused for a moment, and he wrote a new letter called Damar.

"As We know, Since GT grub stands Damar is the person closest to the Leader and Vice. He was also the one who passed the incident on to Dad, until finally in prison on charges of carelessness."

Sandra felt that there was something odd, if 14 victims had an indirect relationship with Damar. What is Nara's Grandma's relationship?

"Nara's family was never involved with Damar. Then who and why did the psychopath trap Nara in such a way?"

"This is what we need to solve. So we just have to focus on Nara's case. If this is revealed, we'll find out who the killer is. And we can tell if the Director of the hospital has any connection to this case."

Instantly, Galih's body creeps to imagine all the cases are linked to each other. "Wahh... Nara really is a Gold card for us. If it turns out that Damar is the mastermind of all this, then we can solve the Nara Case, free your father and find the real culprit. This is crazy...!"

"But Damar was very close to the late Chairman and his Deputy, is it possible that he did that?" Sandra suddenly hesitated, so far it seems that Damar has never been involved in such a case.

Sam took a breath, then sat back down on the chair as he rolled up his shirt arm.

"A tree even feels happy when the sapalu propagates on its trunk, he thinks they will be able to grow together. But the sapalu instead absorbed the tree's nutrients and grew to creep, while the tree slowly lost its leaves and fruit. Over time the tree will die under the control of the tree. It is not impossible that Damar did all this very nicely, because he knows how to thrive on trees.that is, to creep slowly."

"What if it turns out Nara did kill? Not infrequently also the perpetrator who claimed to be the victim. What if it turns out we're being played by that psychopath?" sandra said again.

"Your brain is completely broken. How can you say that? Nara can't even hit a fly, and you're saying she actually killed her Grandma?"

"Sam.keep your word, no matter how useful he is among us." Galih seemed to be unable to see Sandra being taken.

Were it not for Sandra's expertise in hacking all sorts of devices, they would have had a hard time getting evidence. It's illegal, they know it. But if criminals do everything they can, don't they have to do everything they can to catch him?

"You're defending her?" Sam sounded annoyed when he saw his best friend more defending his sister.

Quick-stripping switch. "mm.. Because she is beautiful and reliable. We're just regular detectives without him."

Hearing that Sandra threw a cynical look, but her heart was a little thumping even though her face said otherwise.

"What about you? You're defending Nara because she's beautiful, too?" continue Galih while throwing a soft glance.

"Hey..! take care of your words, if someone else hears it can lead to misunderstanding." Sam pointed his finger at Galih's face.

"Yes.yes.yes.." sahut Galih patted with a small smile.

...~~~~...

At 16:00...

In the front yard, it appears that Nara is watering the bonsai plant using a hose. But not only bonsai that he menyuyur, he directs the hose to the top of the head and dance under the splash of water. He felt like he was playing in the cool rain.

"What are you doing?" the voice in Ammar that suddenly appeared made Nara surprised until the hose in her grasp fell and made Ammar's feet wet.

"Gosh..!" nara peeked at the sight of Ammar's face. He immediately ran off the water faucet not far from there.

"assc..! You damn carrier rat." muttered Ammar annoyed.

"Sorry.I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you like this." Nara clenched her hand towards Ammar.

His whole body soaked in water really made him look like a little mouse in Ammar's eyes.

Likewise with Ammar, ranging from the knees to his shoes soaked due to the actions of Nara just now. Really annoying.

"Prepare... I was invited to the wedding of one of the shareholders."

Ammar thrust Nara's forehead with his index finger. "Why is your brain so stupid? You gotta get ready, we're gonna go there."

"I..? Why not Irene?"

"Because you're my wife..." Ammar turned towards the house.

"HEY... Not that you just touched me!" peekik Nara was upset. Ammar broke his contract.

"Yes.. I'm going to send 100 million now." said Ammar without turning around, apparently he took his phone and sent 100 million money to Nara's account number.

Nara nudged her hose into the bonsai tree until some of its leaves fell off.

"sys! Why is he so happy with me? Does he think paying a penalty is similar to a living? That guy's really a brengshake!"

"Hurry on..!" exclaim Ammar.

"Yes..!" sahut Nara widened her eyes.

...~...

They were at the wedding hall. Not many guests came. Only a few close friends and relatives attended the event. Even so the wedding looked very luxurious.

"hm..." Ammar folded his hands beside his waist and coded Nara to insert his arms there.

Nara understood, but she hesitated because it was a breach of contract right?

"I don't want to break the contract." she whispered.

Ammar breathed an annoyed breath, but still smiled even though it looked bland. "Today let's just say the contract didn't apply." he grabbed Nara's arm and embraced it.

But Nara brushed aside, pulling back her arm. "No, you said there were no exceptions. Anyway why are you touching me now? Is it because you have so much money that you easily break the contract?"

"You look beautiful." whispered Ammar as he slipped Nara's hair behind his ear.

Nara turned her back, almost nagging Ammar again. But he understood immediately, Ammar did so because Damar was heading towards them.

"Gee... This new bride looks so friendly." said Damar.

"But from a distance I saw you guys arguing a little bit, what's going on?" he added, making Ammar even more upset because Damar seemed familiar.

Even though Ammar did not approve of him, he still smiled broadly. Her petty gaze now moved to Nara.

"Hallo miss, how's your case going? If you need help, don't worry."

"Don't bother him! take care of yourself." ketus Ammar.

Damar approached and whispered to Ammar. "You seem very protective of your contract wife."

"So your words!" ammar's reply moved his jaw.

"If you can keep your attitude, I'll keep my attitude. You think I don't know your secret huh?"

"Omong empty.." Ammar took Nara and took her away from Damar.

In the presence of a sharp gaze by Ammar, he even smiled broadly. "ck.ck.. What a pity that innocent girl was fooled by him."

Ammar and Nara sat in a chair. While watching the bride tie the promise, Nara tasted the dishes available. While Ammar just sat still with his flat face that looked stiff as usual.

"May I ask, why did you meet the Director of the hospital at that time?"

"No." said Ammar quickly.

"The detective who handled Grandma's case said that she was in the business of distributing illegal drugs. They suspect he's behind the incident. You're not involved with that dirty business, are you?"

Ammar stared intently at Nara, he was uncomfortable listening to Nara talk too much. He wanted to tear the girl's face with both eyes.
