Chapter 26: False Testimony

Ten minutes before the board of directors meeting. Ammar is seen keeping a small book in his personal safe. The book was an old-age guarantee book that he took silence from Nara's house yesterday.

When he was ready, he took his laptop and some of his files to the meeting room. The higher-ups and ranks seemed to be ready in the room. Irene as the vice chairman opened the meeting by calculating the profits of shareholders.

Ammar then gave a new policy on finance. The software they launched last month was in great interest in the internet market, but somehow the funds and the amount of data coming in did not match the sales statistics.

For nearly an hour, they argued over the missing funds. Of course, the situation was deliberately suppressed by Irene so that everyone would have the same opinion as her.

Until the moment that has been planned, namely Sam and the Police came to bring a search warrant addressed to Damar.

The meeting was forced to stop, the Detectives and Police searched the office of Damar who now serves as President Director. Not only him, his eldest son was also dragged.

In the interrogation room. Sam and Galih hold all the evidence Irene handed in the other day.

After questioning Nara and Irene, the investigation is continued on Damar. Sam was no less surprised when allegations of abuse were presented to Damar. He knew the real culprit had been killed.

"Harassment?! That woman is completely insane! I never even said anything weird to her. When did I abuse her?!" Damar rampaged through the interrogation room. Sam and his lawyer were overwhelmed.

"If his lawyer can prove it's a false accusation, then you'll be prosecuted by him."
