"Show me..? I'm really his father.." Mr. Arul pointed a finger at Ammar. He still remembers Ammar's attitude.
"He must have scolded Dad, right?" isak Nara, there is no way Ammar welcomes foreigners.
"She said Dad's a crazy guy who needs money.."
"What..?" Nara stared at Ammar.
"I...I don't know, it's because you said your father was dead. Who would believe the dead would come back to life." - Ammar was nervous.
"true too.. What really happened to Dad?" Nara rubbed her tears, wondering what made her father stuck and not come home for 15 years.
"The story is long, son, before that can you ask for a meal? Father is hungry." whispered he did not eat from morning. Not feeling hungry and thirsty because he really wants to let go of longing for Nara. Now that his misses paid off, he can again hold Nara's hand.
"Let's go home, we should eat at home" said Ammar, and Nara agreed. He did not take his hand off his father's hand for a second. He still can't believe there's a miracle after all the storms he's been through.
...~~...
Arriving at home, Mr. Arul was unceasingly dumbfounded. The house is very spacious and luxurious. He was very happy because his daughter could live very well, in contrast to their family line which was entirely struggling in the ocean.
After dinner and cleaning. The three of them are now sitting in the living room telling me why Mr. Arul has not been able to go home for 15 years. Nara to cry as much as she could when she heard the struggle of her father hit the storm and was adrift on the high seas.
"Don't cry... I'm here now." He patted Nara's shoulder with a smile.
"It's my turn to ask, since when did you get married?"
"Next week 4 months." said Ammar relaxed, Nara also glared at him so that he was more polite. Ammar immediately lowered his legs, and lowered his head.
"What made you marry my daughter? I heard you're a widower, is that right? And where do you know my daughter?"
Ammar and Nara immediately panicked, their faces very stiff. There's no way they're saying that Nara was deliberately trapped. It was she who put Nara in jail, and she who cleared her Grandmother's death.
"I'm not a widower, but when I married Nara I did have a wife." said Ammar made Nara more clumsy.
"What..?! So you made my son a second wife?" Who would want his son to be made a concubine by a man full of power.
"Nara..! Why do you want to marry a married man? Were you caught cheating? Or is he threatening you? You don't live like this because you want to leave our poor lives, do you?" his fawning makes Nara and Ammar distraught.
"Dad.. Not so, Ammar married me at the request of his first wife."
Ammar gulped, will Nara explain that he was trapped in this marriage?
"Ammar's first wife was very ill at that time, she knew she was not long. That's why she asked me to marry Ammar." let Nara try to stay calm.
While Ammar glanced sharply at his wife. He did not expect Nara was good at making up stories with convincing expressions as well.
"But why should a suburban girl? Don't you have any other high-class girl acquaintances?" Both of Mr. Arul's eyes widened, completely defeating the horror of Irene's gaze when it was raging. Ammar broke out in cold sweat.
"Dad... You mean I don't deserve to marry Ammar? Is this father's daughter too impossible to make a man fall in love?" luh Nara put on a spoiled face.
Arul moved his gaze, from the cynical gaze he instantly turned so meek as he looked at his daughter.
Nara locked up a laugh hearing that.
"You really love my daughter?" ask Mr. Arul again.
"Yes." replied Ammar briefly.
"At least give a convincing answer. Prove that you love my daughter." upset Mr. Arul tightened his teeth.
"Five more months your grandson is born, that's enough proof right?"
"You're pregnant with Nara..?" Mr. Arul looks in disbelief.
Nara nodded with a big smile. It's so tired to pretend to be a happy family. While Ammar feels better, he feels happy to be a real married couple. Even if he was just pretending, he was very happy. It's just that it's invisible because it's covered in the cold, stiff expression of his face.
After a long story, Nara drove her father to sleep in the guest room. After that he went to his room to sleep. But Ammar followed him with a stiff face.
Feeling that there were steps that followed, Nara turned her head with a sharp look. "You're following me?" his cynicism.
"I will sleep with you tonight." whispered Ammar.
"Don't be crazy Ammar, go back to your room."
"If your dad knew how we slept apart? Wouldn't he be suspicious?"
Nara was about to answer, but her lips were restrained by the logic Ammar had just conveyed. It's true that they act as husband and wife in front of their father, but they don't have to sleep in one room, right?
Suddenly the guest room door opened, "You're not sleeping?" asked Mr. Arul, he faintly heard his son's conversation just now.
"I.iya, sleep. Where are you going?" Nara is clumsy and confused. Ammar went into his room first.
"Daddy's going to the bathtub.."
"In the room there's Dad's toilet, the glass door.."
"aahh, is that the bathroom? I thought it was just a big mirror."
Her father Nara went back into the room, her eyes were already very heavy due to exhaustion. Nara went straight into her room and found Ammar lying on the sofa.
"You can sleep in the bed." said Ammar, he pulled the blanket and turned on the TV.
TV voice : Breaking news tonight. A man was found dead in his home with three knives. Police confirmed his traits were the same as previous serial murder victims. Police are still investigating who did it, while the public suspects the deceased psychopath faked his death. Or he has an undisclosed plot.
Ammar sat down and opened his ears wide. Nara was also equally surprised, he was staring at the edge of the bed with one leg that had gone up to the mattress.
"You did it?" asked the flat-faced Nara, there's no way Ammar, right?
"I've been with you all day." said Ammar, he suspected that someone deliberately imitated the workings of Irene. That way the charges must have been against him because he was Irene's right-hand man all along.
