As when we remember or celebrate previous events that are just two, like that also on our first wedding anniversary celebration, we intend to only celebrate both. Reza had even prepared a white wedding dress for me, which was suitable for my already enlarged belly. My pregnancy is seven months old. But since that moment coincided with the first Ramadan, it was known that afternoon that my mother and Aarin, along with the surly-faced Ihsan - came unannounced. They didn't say they were planning to visit our house to open with us.
"Surprise..," Aarin said in a level ten voice as I opened the door.
It was five o'clock past, and it was a real surprise - a surprise that was really surprising. Especially when we saw three full-volume bags that we were sure contained a change of clothes, which meant they were going to stay, Reza and I got clumsy. To be honest we are happy for their arrival, our first iftar is more delicious and warm because there are many people. About food, Reza just order and ask employees to deliver it to the house. But, what about our wedding anniversary plans for tonight? Because it was my mom, maybe I-would be-be as normal as possible when my mom saw us celebrating our birthday by dressing up as a couple of brides, but Reza -- he was ashamed, he said.
So that night, after the tarawih and after we had a chat in the living room, when the people had returned to their rooms, it was only then that Reza and I started our event in a way that was just like the pace, alone in the room.
The clock on the wall shows ten o'clock in the evening, plus a few minutes of time for me to dress up and put on my wedding dress. And I realized it was a little silly, that night we dressed up as a pair of newlyweds in wedding dresses and suits. And it feels the same, its happiness, its warmth, and all the feelings that are in the heart - all the same. Even the loving look in my husband's eyes - still as it used to be, warm and unchanged at all.
"You are as beautiful as my bride on the first night" she said as she hugged me in front of the mirror.
I smile. "You too, my handsome and dashing bridegroom. So, we start dancing?"
Reza turned off the lights, and instead she turned on the decorative lights that adorned our bridal room. The lights of the decorative lights give a romantic impression that enliven the atmosphere of our anniversary night. In the dim light, Reza and I started our dance that night. Although not tuning music through the speakers because they do not want to invite the attention of the entire house, listening to songs using the handset does not reduce the romance between us. Also my lower footwear - which makes the distance between me and Reza quite noticeable, it doesn't matter if I have to raise my head and Reza has to lower her head for us to be able to stare at each other.
That night we danced like the night of May 14 last year, with the song Beautiful In White, while remembering our togetherness on the wedding night of April 14 - which is already halal but can not hold a physical union of two people on the night of the bride.
"Thank you for being willing to marry me, even though it was my situation. Thank you for waiting for me so long. Thank you for the year you spent accompanying and taking care of me. You who never neglect to carry out your duties as a wife, who are always loyal and never hurt my heart. And most importantly, thank you for always being willing to forgive me - - also for sticking by my side with all my mistakes and imperfections as a husband. You are the best friend of life, the best wife God has given me. Thank you, dear."
I looked at her with a smile after she gave me one warm kiss on my forehead. My heart was filled with flowers that bloomed hearing her mouthfuls and pleasant babbles. I like his thanks. Although it sounds and seems trivial, but -- with it - I feel very appreciated.
"Either. I'm sincere to everything. Although you are not one hundred percent perfect, although sometimes there are bitter stories between us, but I love you: the reason for me to always stay here, to keep you company. Stay loyal, huh, Mom? Because I want to be with you always."
Reza nodded. "definitely. Forever" he promised. We both smiled and continued dancing. And suddenly...
