4,5. The story of Baluqiya who sought the existence of Prophet Muhammad (Side Story).

Long before the birth of Prophet Muhammad, Ats-Tsa’labi tells of a man named Isya. He is from the Children of Israel. Isya is one of the scholars who used to read the story before.

From those books he discovered the properties of Prophet Muhammad SAW. All of Muhammad's properties were written in a sheet and hidden inside a locked coffin. The key is to hide it in a place he never notices.

Isya had a son named Baluqiya. On the eve of his death, he advised Baluqiya that he should be a judge among the Children of Israel thereafter. After a while his father died, he suddenly saw a chest. The box got locked.

He asked his mother about the box. His mother replied, “I don't know what's inside this crate and don't know where the key is.” Next, the key was destroyed by Baluqiya and opened the coffin.

In it, he saw a sheet that read the nature of the Prophet SAW. From the leaf, Baluqiya also knew Muhammad would be the covering of the Prophets and Apostles. And heaven was forbidden to the prophets, so that he and his people would enter first.

After he finished reading it, he brought the sheet to the cleric Bani Israel. When they heard the nature of Muhammad SAW, they said to Baluqiya, “How did your father know this, but he did not tell us? By Allah, had it not been for you, we would have burned his grave because Isha had hidden the news of the apostles

Baluqiya finally chose to leave his village. He said goodbye to his mother and promised not to return until he met Muhammad SAW.

By solidifying sincere belief and intention, Baluqiya stepped in without any definite clue as to where Muhammad was. Baluqiya begins his odyssey. The real adventure leads him to find a region that he never terbesit.

Take Baluqiya on a pilgrimage. There was a great serpent and he said, “ There is no god except Allah and Muhammad is His messenger.” Then Baluqiya said hello. The group of snakes asked Baluqiyah, “From which group you are.”

Baluqiya answered that he was from the Israelites and asked where Muhammad was now. Darling, Baluqiya's question is without a firm answer. By the serpents he met, they ruled over all the serpents that were on earth. If the guard snake does not watch him, the snake will move and threaten humanity.

Baluqiya's long journey made him unable to find human settlements. Meeting snakes are large and able to talk makes him confused. But the amazement was thrown away, he focused on meeting Muhammad. The long journey with a series of oddities does not stop from there.

Baluqiya calculated that seven seas had been passed. And that's how it's been going through years of travel. Until he arrived again in a peninsula. There is a golden tree there. When the sun appears to shine on it, it gives off a light like lightning so that no eye can see it because of its intense luster.

On this peninsula there are also large trees. Baluqiya reached out his hand to pick up the fruit from one of the trees. The tree calls out, “Stay away from me hai khati’ (who likes to be guilty)!” Baluqiya retreated and sat down. Amidst the confusion and difficulty explaining the situation he was in now suddenly there was a group descending from the sky. In their hands was a sword. When they saw Baluqiya, they said, “How did you get to this place?”

Baluqiya only looked in amazement. For a while he said, “I am from Bani Israel, my name is Baluqiya. Then who are you?” They said, “We are the jinn of faith. We were in the sky. Then God sent us down to earth. We are commanded to fight the disbelieving jinn on earth. Now we will fight them.”

Baluqiya left them. Suddenly there was a big angel, his posture was standing. His right hand is in the east, and his left hand is in the west. Then the angel said,” There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” Baluqiya approached and greeted him.

The angel asked Baluqiya, “Who are you?”

“I am a man of the Children of Israel. I went in search of the cover of the prophets. Then who are you?” reply Baluqiyah.

The angel answered, God commissioned him to take care of the darkness of night and the light of day. Then Baluqiya said, “What are the two lines on your forehead?”

He replied, “In those two lines are written extra night and day and subtraction. I do not hold the night except with the specified size.”

Baluqiya continued on his way. Suddenly there was a very big angel. He said, “There is no god except Allah and Muhammad the messenger of Allah.”

Baluqiya greeted him, and the angel answered him. Baluqiya asked about him, he replied, “I am an angel assigned to handle the wind. I will not let go of the wind except by His authority. I clasped the sea. If it were not so, of course all that is on the face of the earth would perish.”

Oddity after strangeness, Baluqiya tries to get used to the environment he faces. The spirit to meet Muhammad was very passionate. Eventually Baluqiya arrived at Mount Qaf.

The mountain is made of green yakut. It surrounds the whole world. Because of the radiance of the mountain, the sky looks blue. God assigned the handling of this mountain to an angel. When God wants to shake part of the earth.

“After this mountain there are 40 thousand cities besides the world cities. The city was made of gold and silver. There is no day or night. The inhabitants are angels who never get tired of glorifying God, ” replied the angel.

Baluqiya again asked, “What is behind those cities?” He replied,” Behind him there are 70 thousand hijabs (barriers). Each hijab is about the size of the world. No one knows behind the hijab except Allah.”

Baluqiya left the angel. He continued his journey until he reached a mountain. There were angels who looked like gazelles. Baluqiya said hello to them, and they replied. Baluqiya asked them, “Who are you?”

“We are part of the angel of God. Here we have been worshipping God since we were created,” replied the angel.

Then Baluqiya asked them about the great mountain facing them, which shone a light like the sun. Then the angel replied, “It is a world mountain made of gold. All gold metals on earth are sourced from it.”

Baluqiya abandoned them. He continued his journey until he reached a vast sea. There are two very large fish. He greeted them, and they returned. The two asked Baluqiya, “Who are you, O creature of God?”

“I am Baluqiya, from the Children of Israel. I came in search of Muhammad, the prophet's cover. Do you guys have anything I can eat,” asked Baluqiya. By Allah's permission, the two fish gave him bread. He ate the bread and Baluqiya was not hungry anymore.

Next, he came to a bridge. There Baluqiya saw a very large, beautiful bird apparently and had something that could make sense dumbfounded because of its beauty. The bird was on top of a tree under which there was a dish upon which was baked fish. Baluqiya approached the bird, said his greetings and asked,”Who are you?”

“I am one of the angels in heaven. I was sent by God to send this dish to Adam and Eve when they were gathered on Mount Arafat. Both have taken something from him. Then Allah told me to put the dish here and I stayed close to it until the day of the Resurrection, ” said the bird

He also ordered me to give something to the people who came here. So Baluqiya ate something of that dish. But not one bit of the dish was reduced. The dish was like it was back to its original state.

Baluqiya asked the bird about the dish. He replied, “Truly the food of the world will be reduced and changed when it is left. While the food of heaven will never diminish and change.”

“Did anyone ever eat this dish?” ask Baluqiya again.

“Already! Indeed Khidir Abdul Abbas, sometimes come here and eat this dish. After that he left again,” replied the bird. Hearing that Baluqiya decided to stay at the place to meet Khidir, gather with him and ask him various things.

One day, while Baluqiya was sitting, suddenly the US Prophet Khidir came to him wearing white clothes. Baluqiya stood up to greet him and saluted him. Khihir. Baluqiya said, “Wahai Abdul Abbas (Khidir), I have traveled in search of the Prophet of the end times until I finally reached this place. I'm here waiting for your arrival so you can tell me about him.”

“Hai Baluqiya, indeed the prophet of the end times will not appear at this time, and you will not meet him now,” Khidir replied.

“Hai Baluqiya, do you know how far you are from your mother?” ask Khidir back. Baluqiya replied, “Don't know.” Khidir said, “The distance is 50 years.”

“Will I put you in front of your mother?” Khidir. Baluqiyah assented and Khidir told her to close her eyes.

Baluqiya said, “I close my eyes. I know nothing but my mother is by my side. I opened my eyes, then I said hello to my mother and told her.”

The arrival of Baluqiya, made his mother surprised. His mother saw that a white bird had brought Baluqiya back here. The bird disappeared quickly.

Since then, Baluqiya has told all his stories to his mother. Then he went to the Children of Israel and also told about the things experienced during the journey.

He told the Children of Israel and all the wonders he saw. The words of Baluqiya over the course of decades are also immortalized by the Children of Israel in a note. According to one account, Baluqiya was a thousand years old.
