"What's really going on?" rehan asked Nathan as soon as he arrived in front of the IGD room where his wife Naura was being handled.
"It's all my fault, Om. I shouldn't have appeared in the middle of your family. I'm a fucking child!" instead of answering Rehan's question, Nathan is busy blaming himself. Even the young man again called Rehan, with the name om because he felt unworthy to be considered a child by Rehan.
"You calm down! now you explain what really happened?" Rehan tried to look calm, but deep in his heart, was very afraid if anything happened to his wife.
"It's all my fault she's, Pa!" chirps Nicholas while pointing at Arsen, who came following to the hospital.
Rehan squinted his eyes as he looked towards Arsen. A young man he did not know. Then, he looked back at Nicholas.
"How could that have happened to your mother, because of her?" rehan asked with his eyebrows linked.
Nicholas also told him who Arsen really was and how he said to the mother to make her unconscious because of forced thinking to recall her past.
"It's not Arsen's fault, but it's my fault. I am a bastard child! I never bring happiness to anyone!" Nathan blamed himself again.
"Nathan, Quiet!" rehan. "Don't blame yourself. There's nothing wrong with this. Not you, not your brother. It's all because of destiny, because sooner or later, the truth about you, it should be revealed. And you're Nicholas, you don't blame his brother Nathan because he's only revealing what he knows. She has no idea of your mother's condition. He just feels excited to see your mom back," Rehan continued wisely.
"But what the son of Om said is true. What's wrong is me, Om. If only I had obeyed Nathan's request to leave immediately, this might not have happened" the guilt-ridden Arsen chimed in on Rehan.
"Don't I say there's no one to blame? if anyone in your position is unlikely to be immediately obedient, if still confused why told to leave. Everything needs a reason, right? well that's what happened to you" Rehan said. Then, the middle-aged man, turned his gaze back towards Nathan and Nicholas.
"You can both, you have to keep trying to calm down. For now, we need to focus on praying, so that your mama's okay,"
When Rehan finished his speech, the door of the ER room opened. Everything that was there immediately rushed towards the doctor who had just come out.
"How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Rehan. Can not be covered, the face that originally looked calm, now emits a very very very worried feeling.
The doctor, heaved a heavy sigh and did not see a smile at all.
"Hmm, Mrs Naura is fine, but__"
"But what, Dok? you said it was okay, why is there another tap?" Nathan immediately snatched the doctor's words.
"Nathan, you calm down! we'll listen to the doctor until we're done talking!" rebuked Rehan gently but tucked firmness in his words.
Nathan fell silent and apologized in a soft voice.
"Can I continue?" ask the doctor to make sure.
"Please,Dok!" sahut Rehan's.
"Okay, Doc!" Rehan nodded with a heavy sigh, a sign that the man was not fully relieved, because the wife was not yet known to wake up.
"Then I go first, sir, everyone! your wife will soon be transferred to the treatment room, if anything important can call me again,"
"Please, Doc!" shrewd and lethargic.
After the doctor left, Nathan fell to the wall. Then the young man ruffled his hair, like he was feeling desperate.
Nathan then walked back to Rehan.
"Om, please, this time let me go. Later when you wake up, just tell him I'm not a good boy, just pretend to be good. Let's just say, if I was deliberately approaching this family, because there is a certain purpose for his own benefit because he knows he is a reliable painter, who has a gallery and a rich family. Also tell me I'm depraved, cunning__"
"Stop! what do you mean say something like that? huh!" Rehan quickly interrupted Nathan's words.
"That's the best way, so that mama doesn't remember me anymore. Tell me too, that Brother Arsen is the one I paid, to make up the story. Please Om. I'm sincere, even if my mom doesn't remember me and even hates me, later. More importantly, you can live a normal and happy life as before" Nathan pleaded as he cupped his hands together in front of Rehan's face. The young man's face was now flooded with tears.
"No! no one will leave. You have to stay, wait until your mom is conscious. About what we're gonna do next, we're gonna find a way,"
"There's no other way, Om. This is the only proper way. I promise after this I'll go all the way. But before I leave, Om promised first, I'd say as I said. I don't care if I'm labeled as bad and hated, because I'm used to getting that kind of view. I'm immune, Om." again Nathan beseeched Rehan.
"No! not once yes no!" reject Rehan firmly.
"I don't agree either!" Nicholas opens his voice, chiming in his Papa's words. "Nathan, you don't despair, we both think about the way" said the man, straightforwardly.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Arsen, still feeling guilty, sat alone not far from Nathan and Nicholas. Meanwhile, Rehan goes to take care of the transfer of Naura's room which is planned to be moved to the VIP room.
When the man's head moved his head, in another direction, suddenly his eyes saw someone he knew very well walking with a lethargic look on his face. That figure was none other than her sister Angga.
"Sister, Angga? why is he in this hospital? what's he doing here?" batin Arsen wondered.
"Sister Angga!" Call Arsen before Angga really leaves.
Meanwhile, Angga who heard someone calling his name immediately turned to see who was calling him. The man's face instantly turned pale like it was not being drained by blood at all.
Arsen's voice calling out Angga's name also distracts Nathan. The young man was also no less shocked, seeing the whereabouts of Angga in the hospital.
