The number of Fi'liyyah and Ismiyyah


The number in Arabic is a sentence, according to the arrangement of sentences in Arabic consists of two, namely the number of ismiyah and the number of fi'liyah.


Amount of Ismiyah


As the name implies, the number of ismiyah is the number (sentence) beginning with isim (noun), this sentence consists of the composition of mubtada' and khabar.


Mubtada' is a subject in Arabic, because it is a subject then mubtada' has several properties namely: first, it must be a ma'rifat (special/specific word/specific, not general.example: the name of the person, the name of the person, enter the letter alif+lam). Second, the sign i'robnya is rofa'.


While khobar is a predicate, which is in charge of explaining or explaining the state of mubtada' (subject), khobar can be a word or a sentence. khobar nature is: one, must nakiroh (common word). Secondly, the nature of khobar is, khobar also has the sign i'rob rofa'.


Mubdata' and khobar must have the same properties, when mubdata' his mudzakar then khobar must also mudzakar, between mubtada' and khobar must also be equally mufrad, tasniyah, or plural.

Explanation :


1.The first example, the word 'zaidun' as mubdata' and the word 'qooimun' as khobar are both isim mufrad (singular noun) and mudzakar (male sex noun).


2.The second example, the word 'al-hamdu' as mubtada' (subject), while the khobarnya (predicate) is in the form of the arrangement of the sentences 'lillahi robbil 'aalamiina'. which is clear, is, this number (sentence) includes the number of ismiyah because it begins with isim (noun) which is 'al-hamdu' (how can you know 'al-hamdu' isim? because he entered alif lam) more fully can read this article: Understanding isim (noun) and its characteristics.


3.The third example, the word 'muslimaani' as mubtada' (subject) and the word 'qooipani' as khobar are both isim tasniyah (a noun that indicates the meaning of two).


Well, from the three examples above, everything is the number of ismiyah because it begins with a noun (isim).
