Isim Ma'rifah and Isim Nakiroh


تَقْسِيْمُ الاِسْمِ بِالنَّظَرِ إِلَى تَعْيِيْنِهِ


(Isim's Division Is Viewed From Its Clarity)



Isim Nakiroh's



Isim Nakiroh is an isim whose designation is unclear


Example:


⁇ ⁇ (A Muslim)


⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ (A student's book)



Isim Ma’rifat



Isim Ma’rifat is an isim whose designation is clear


Example:


⁇ untu (Umar)


⁇ ⁇ (Book of Muhammad)


Isim ma’rifat



Dhomir (pronouns for people)



Example:


هُوَ – أَنْتَ – أَنَا



Isim Isyaroh (pointer)



Example:


هَذَا – ذَالِكَ



Isim Maushul (connection)



Example:


اَلَّذِيْ- اَلَّذِيْنَ




Example:


عُمَرُ  – مُحَمَّدٌ  – خَدِيْجَةُ



Isim is alif and lam



Example:


اَلْبَيْتُ –  اَلْمِصْبَاحُ  – اَلْمَسْجِدُ



Isim that is based on isim ma’rifat others



Example:


كِتَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ   –  صَاحِبُ البَيْتِ


Note:



Isim Nakiroh usually has a married final harokat



Example:


مُسْلِمٌ – مِصْبَاحٌ



The name of the person despite being married is still said to be isim ma’rifat and not as isim nakiroh.



Example:


مُحَمَّدٌ – زَيْدٌ



When an isim is based on the nakiroh isim, it is the nakiroh isim. But if it is based on isim ma’rifat, then he is also as isim ma’rifat.

كِتَابُ طَالِبٍ –  كِتَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ
