Machu Picchu was below me as me and members of the community floated flying around watching the goblins escaping from the magical world preparing to send a shock to the humans.

“Really, right? I've bet that we'll find them here.” Desmond chuckled at my side. We flew in the back row.

    “What are they doing here?”

“Usually they do just want to get out of the magical world and breathe freedom here.”

    I looked at Desmond. “Freedom?”

Desmond nodded. “Betul. The Union members locked them in a magical world. Sometimes, they could escape the prisoners and go out through places that had high magic energy. Like this mountain.”

“Friends,” Silas calling. He stopped and stayed in the middle of Peru's night sky and noticed we were swarming around him waiting for instructions. “The race will start soon. I give you thirty minutes to search for the magic scroll and also to return the naughty goblins to the portal of the magic world, got it?”

The energy rush flowing throughout my body sent out an ominous signal. This is what I've been waiting for. Playing in the wild. Silas counted down slowly. My adrenaline went up instantly.

    “Three!”

Silas shouted loudly and I immediately swooped down letting the Peruvian night breeze hit my face. Some other witches were no less enthusiastic, they darted in all directions stalking the mountains with brooms. Lucky for me to have wind magic talent, I didn't have to bother directing the broom to fly.

I flew across the goblins that were rumbling down there shaking their bottoms. The goblins were unaware of our existence because they were too joyful of the temporary freedom they could feel.

The beam of fire shot past my flying direction. My cheeks are warm. It was a fire magic fired by one of the members of the community. The figure of the woman was seen flying at high speed past me while laughing out loud. Accurate shot. I could hear the annoyed screams of the goblins.

I swooped in to see the attack. The other two goblins dispersed hurriedly as they began to realize our presence. I smile. The roots of the tree began to move following my orders. One by one the roots penetrated the surface of the ground making a sound as big as a shot that knocked down the building. Three tree roots as big as bamboo tree trunks curled agilely as if they were dancing in the moonlight.

I exhaled while holding my smile which began to widen when in the same rhythm, the three tree roots swooped in pursuit of the goblins who started running around in fear. I drifted not far from the goblins while continuing to concentrate on every root I conferred.

One of the roots I controlled managed to subdue one of the short goblins who was now rebelling with all his strength to break away. The other two tree roots continued to chase the goblin wherever they stepped and jumped away.

The goblin that had been in my grasp suddenly similarly spat out a disgusting green-colored slime. The base of the roots wrapped around it slowly melted. I cringe. Whatisit? Goblin power?

The goblin now rebelled again behind the roots of the tree that had melted. He stretched his body in all directions and that was how the root shackle I sent broke instantly. The goblin ran away laughing. Sucks.

I looked towards the two more goblins I was chasing. One of the goblins foolishly stopped running and went into a hole in the ground intending to hide from me. Hah, that's a big mistake. One of the roots I controlled broke through the ground quickly like it was piercing flesh to make satay.

    “ARGGHH!”

Goody. Also applies. While the other goblin managed to escape after trying to burn my tree roots. Gusts of fire began to be seen shooting in one direction, behind the temple's support rocks.

“Bby too. You got one.” Praise Silas flying closer towards me.

    “I'll get one more.”

“Not necessary. Monica has got it. Same with magic scrolls. Now, follow Desmond and return the creature to the wizarding world.”

I'm sighing. Whereas if I meant it more, I would have been able to get those three goblins together. But, how else. I sensed the goblin still trying to escape from the grasp of the tree roots as I directed him towards the crowd of community gathered at the foot of the temple.

“Good work, Mathias. Give it to me.” Desmond's orders gave me a happy smile. I let Desmond hold back the goblin I got with his earth magic, he did the same to the rest of the captured goblins.

Monica held her broom and cast a spell. An invisible hole was formed there. Originally a small oval the size of a head, over time the hole grew by itself.

Some of the goblins we have captured are shouting protest reluctantly to be returned there.

“This is also your fault, friends.” Desmond. “If you behave well and do not try to run away like this, you will still live well in there.”

“Now you must wait for the punishment that the American Magic Union will impose." Silas.

Then, the goblins were thrown through the magic portal and the hole slowly disappeared into the night. I smile. I haven't been in a small battle like this for a long time.

“You sure you won't report this incident on United?” desmond asked looking at Silas confusedly. I did the same thing. As far as I know, if there is a sufficiently dangerous situation, the witches are obliged to report to the Witch Security Force working under the direct orders of the Union. Before the witches

“No. Anyway, it wasn't that hard, was it?” silas said, blinking his eyes ignorant.

“Crue.” Reply Desmond and several other witches. “Take it easy. I will still report it later, I also need to insinuate the security system they made. Embarrassing.” Silas said that word while chuckling mockingly.

I agree with what he means.

“Roll?” ask a member of the community.

Silas brandished the scuffed parchment scroll. “Me.”

Yeah, that's right. This community of Witch Explorers has a hobby of wandering around collecting track records of historical magic objects. It is usually located in places that also have a high historical value. Not to forget that once they find the objects, they will go somewhere to celebrate the success and vacation. Isn't this fun compared to having to stay on campus?

We spent some time there, admiring the historic site while flying around the mountains, and also doing a little race in the Peruvian night sky. After that, we returned to the inn located in Cuzco City.

Silas becomes the last witch to land in the hotel's backyard. I saw it from the balcony of the room which leads directly to the courtyard where we usually gather and do light exercise in the morning. Oh, yeah, where we were preparing to go and land on a broomstick.

The man stopped suddenly and looked up. His two gray eyes peered from the sidelines of the long hair that covered the forehead all the way down to the bottom of the eyes, looking at me. Silas then gave me a hand gesture so I could come to his place.

I saw him longer hoping he could just talk straight away, but the man still glanced at me seriously. Alright. Lucky I could fly there, but had to bother carrying a broom or down the stairs of the hotel.

     “Ya?” ask me.

“I got a call from the Magic States of America.”

I automatically gulped nervously. It's impossible about that.

“They are now looking for you.” Silas finally said the words I hated.

I curse in my heart, “Why are they looking for me?”

Silas shrugs, “In addition to being the son of Francis and Lindsey Bancroft?”

“This doesn't make sense. They weren't looking for me at all from the night I ran away. What are they looking for me for now?”

“They want to keep an eye on you. Your magic talent is rare.”

“Yang is right.” I chuckle bitterly. “They watch over me so they can use me later?”

Silas nodded, “Ya. They don't want witches with special magical talents to escape their sight.”

My shoulders slumped. “Then I've officially become a fugitive of the American Magic Union.”

"No.” Silas said which made me look at him confused. “The union just wants to know your whereabouts. If you were a fugitive, the Witch Security Force might have ransacked the hotel and disbanded the community.”

“Now you are a member of the community, but I still have no authority over you. That is, if they order me to hand you over, I can't say no. That's against the rules. Unless you go to the academy, just like your brother.” Silas looked serious.

Oh, naw. The reason I was desperate to pretend on the entrance exam was no more because I didn't want to continue school. I want to be a member of a community that is free to roam and fight.

“Not to be moody, I'll help.”

I sneered, “By getting me into the academy?”

“Yes, we can talk about that later.” Silas said in the end. “Now, we have to rest. Tomorrow let's take care of this troublesome Union.”
