Losing Us

Losing Us
Know Nothing

Day by day change. Event after incident had passed Arsenio, along with Anara whose presence had no longer made him too antipathy. However, that does not mean he has accepted Anara fully as his wife. Arsenio only considered the girl as a housemate, which she would look to help clear up some of the problems.

Like today, for example. Arsenio plans to use her time off to clean up the warehouse on the 3rd floor. And since there was Anara, he certainly didn't want the girl to be just a foot-barge watching herself grapple with dusty used items.

After lunch, Arsenio galloped up to Anara who was relaxing in the living room. Fun to watch drama series while nyemil kuaci that he did not know where.

“Cute me.” Declared.

Anara raised her head. Wrinkles appeared clearly on his forehead which was covered in a few strands of hair that were detached from the ties. His round eyes blinked a few times, emitting a innocence that made Arsenio eager to pry him out and put him in a glass jar as a collection. Yeah, don't think he's gonna feel anxious at that look. Don't dream. That's not gonna happen.

“Buruan.” Arsenio repeated because Anara still did not move from her position. Don't move, say no. The girl still continued to look at Arsenio with the same look in her eyes.

“Lo budek, yes?”

“Where?” ask Anara later. Wrap kuaci—which either still has content or not—he put it on the glass table, then he stood up from his seat.

“Floor 3.” Answer Arsenio briefly. Ogah heard more questions from Anara's mouth, and he went first. He climbed one step at a time to reach the 3rd floor, peeking occasionally to make sure that Anara followed in his footsteps.

Arriving at the 3rd floor, Arsenio immediately moved towards the warehouse. The bright brown door he pushed open wide. Showing the sighting of the messy—. Some furniture that is outdated but too dear to be thrown away (Mother said because there are too many memories) is stored in this warehouse. In addition, there were also some items belonging to Arsenio when he was a child.

This is not the house that Arsenio and Mommy have occupied all this time. This house was only purchased 2 years ago, indeed the plan for her to live when she married later. And unused items are deliberately stored in this house because the house they occupy is very full. Before Arsenio and Anara finally stay here, she and Mommy will take turns to come visit. To simply check the condition of the house and clean up what if it needs to be cleaned.

“We want to do?” anara's voice rang out from behind Arsenio's body.

Without turning his head, the man replied, “Beres-beres.” Then immediately enter the warehouse and start observing one by one the overlapping furniture.

None of those things Arsenio wanted to take out or use again. It's just, he wants to rearrange so that if someday Mother needs one of them, the objects will be easier to find. After all, the pile of dust here was already too much after a year of being left untouched.

“I have to help?” hearing that stupid question, Arsenio practically turned around.

Anara's plain face was plastered several meters in front of her. Apparently, the girl was reluctant to set foot into the barn and preferred to stand far away at the door.

“According to you, I'm not sure you're here for what? So audience doang?” arsenio Sarcas. It's ridiculous that Anara actually thinks so.

“But, Arsen—“

“Not there but-fireplace.” Cut Arsenio. “Help me, hunted.” Impatiently, he walked quickly to Anara and dragged her into the barn.

Just three steps into the girl, Anara had already covered her nose with her hands. Secretly, Arsenio put on a slanted smile. Spoiled kid apparently? Who was never told to clean up the warehouse and all the dusty stuff? Alright. In that case, Arsenio will teach the girl to clean up today.

“Ar, I'm out, yes.” Anara's voice sounded stingy because she now squeezed her nose using two fingers.

Obviously, Arsenio's answer was no. Why would she let Anara go when she had so much trouble dragging her here?

One thing that Arsenio learned from Anara's recent moves is that the girl will tend to be more obedient if she carries the name of Mother. So in a few occasions—if it is urgent—Arsenio will start carrying her mother's name to make Anara according.

And, it proved powerful for today as well. Without much protest, Anara welcomes the bell that Arsenio gave her. The furry object was then used to sweep up the thickened dust on some nearby furniture that he could find.

“Wear two hands, and do not while pouting.” Arsenio rebuked because Anara looked insincere. The girl also continued to cover her nose and mouth with one hand.

No protests were heard, but Anara still did not keep her hands away from her nose and mouth.

Not wanting to take a headache, Arsenio just let Anara do it. Then he switched to his own job. One by one the items he rearranged, grouped by type and level of importance to facilitate later when taking them.

In an instant, this cleaning activity has made Arsenio's mind focus only on how to arrange things in such a way as not to bother later in the day. Because of her focus, she does not know how long it has been running and whether Anara behind her body is doing her job well or not.

“Yang clean, so that later if Mother comes here, you can flexing and proud of yourself lo as a wife and dream ghost.” Arsenio quipped. However, there was absolutely no response.

Curious, he turned his body around. And how surprised he was when he found Anara was already in a position sitting limp on the floor while holding his chest. His mouth was open and his breath looked tired. While one hand the other seemed to move oddly reached into the pocket of the skirt she was using.

“An, why?!” panicking, Arsenio ran over to the girl. Arsenio's limp little body grabbed, she let Anara's head roll on her chest while the girl's one hand was still trying to get something out of her skirt pocket.

Soon enough, the object that was grabbed by Anara finally managed to be removed. An object the size of one hand grip is blue whose bottom looks like a flat pipe. It was foreign to Arsenio, so she could only silently watch as Anara started carrying it in front of her mouth.

And when the object came into contact with Anara's lips, Arsenio only realized that it was some kind of breathing apparatus.

For a while, Arsenio was only able to watch Anara fight for herself. All he could offer as help were the two hands that held tightly to his shoulders so that Anara would not fall down and the airy chest supporting his half-upturned head. Until finally, Anara's breathing looks back to normal and the girl starts to keep the tool from her mouth.

“You okay?” ask Arsenio. Obviously, Anara doesn't look good. His face was pale, his lips were blue and sweaty all over the face and neck area. After Arsenio felt again, Anara's skin also felt cold. “Lo why?”

“Asma.” Anara answered briefly while trying to distance herself from Arsenio. “I have asthma.” Said.

“Why didn't you say?” arsenio asked in a very soft voice. Suddenly, he felt guilty.

“You didn't give me a chance to say.”

And that answer managed to make Arsenio speechless. He was struck by a line of sentences that were even said with ordinary intonation, not impressed like being cornered.

“I really want to help you, Arsenio. But the others, yes, as long as do not clean the dusty like gini.” After nearly dying from Arsenio, Anara could still say so. Unfortunately, it just makes Arsenio feel more guilty.

“Sorry.” And for the first time, that apology came out of Arsenio's lips. “Sorry, An. I didn't know you had asthma.”
