Losing Us

Losing Us
That's Okay

As if not satisfied with pranking Anara all day, Olin still seemed to want to act more with his decision to stay.

When Anara was pouring night cream on her face to avoid wrinkles, the door to her room was opened from the outside and Olin unhappily snatched in. The girl said she came to Anara's room to borrow a nightgown. But from the movements he showed earlier, Anara knew Olin was actually looking for something else.

There was not a single point in Anara's room that escaped Olin's observation. Even after the woman managed to get a set of old gray satin nightgowns, the girl was still standing in front of Anara's wardrobe whose door was left wide open.

Anara had no energy to rebuke or simply ask what else Olin needed from inside her room, because her energy had already been drained away by the girl with all sorts of unreasonable desires being thrown out endlessly since morning.

“Gala really does not sleep the same lo, right?” you know, Olin turned around. His hazel bead looked at Anara with a glaring look of hatred. While her red blushing lips seemed to form a straight line that was completely unfriendly. So antagonistic.

“Nggak.” Anara answered honestly.

Actually, it had been sandwiched in Anara's head to prank Olin as a form of revenge. He wanted to know how Olin would react if he knew the lover he loved was sleeping with another woman.

However, Anara did not do it because she realized, she was not that lowly to lie in order to avenge a heartache that is not how much. Well, Anara was not sure that the treatment of Olin to make him feel hurt. Anara was just a little annoyed.

Hearing Anara's reply, Olin did not immediately react. The girl still continued to stare at Anara intensely, until at what tens second, she finally let out a slow breath and nodded.

“Good.” Her speech. The closet door he finally closed with a rough movement, then he walked closer towards Anara, leaving only two steps spread out. “Lo must remember that Gala's got me. Forever it will remain so. So I hope, you are self-aware and do not try to make Deketin Gala. Because you know, it'll all be free.”

Yep, yeah. Please talk to the closet door you just slammed, Olin. Because Anara doesn't care. After all, who would be eager to snatch Arsenio away from you? Judging from any point of view, Anara was self-conscious that she would not be capable enough to rival the existence of a Flora Calantha Orlin.

Instead of that bunch of sentences, what Anara said to Olin was, “You just calm down, I won't admit it.” That made him feel like a loser.

“Good girl.” Olin said in a mocking tone, then walked out of Anara's room without a word of thanks for a set of pajamas he had lent.

“Padahan it's my favorite pajama.” Anara complains in a quiet voice after Olin disappears from view—without closing back the room door.

Ha... Sucks. Why do people always like to open doors, but are reluctant to close them again? Didn't they realize that it was both annoying and troublesome at the same time? Of course, they don't think about it. If they think about it, they won't do it constantly, right?

“Sabar, An. Patient people dear to God.” While closing the door, Anara tried to comfort herself.

Anara's body was tired, her eyes reddened, and she had yawned many times. However, until now, when the clock on her cellphone had shown at half-two in the morning, Anara still could not close her eyes.

He tried many times to fall asleep. Various ways have also been done to invite drowsiness to come immediately, but none of them that succeed.

Finally, Anara gave up. He rose from the position of the rebound that he had changed many times. Sitting for a while on the mattress before finally deciding to walk near the glass door to the balcony. The curtains are pushed to the very end. Through translucent glass, Anara was presented with a dark view of the night outside. The tall trees across the street seemed to sway to the right and to the left, following the rhythm of the evening symphony that only they could hear.

Anara took a deep breath, closing her eyes in a matter of one to eight in an attempt to calm the uncomfortable turmoil within. It's not about Arsenio still loving Olin. It's about her, who's trying not to drift away from her own feelings. In order to keep the three of them safe in their respective places.

After feeling better, Anara opened her eyes again. But that does not mean drowsiness then come to float just like that. No. gabe. He still felt nothing in his eyelids. Anara fully realized, her tired body refused to rest because her head was still quite noisy with various things.

“Mama same Papa must have seen everything from up there, right?” anara asked, at the reflection of the faces of her parents who looked faint in the distance of the night sky. “Do not get angry, this is not all Arsenio or Olin.” Connect the girl.

“An who comes into their life, and who like this is also nothing.” Anara took a pause to catch her breath, filling her chest until it bulged. “If there are the most injured here, the person is precisely Olin, Ma, Pa. So please, don't hate them.” He continued.

As a human, Anara certainly has a wild selfish side in her head. There are times when he wants to act as he wants, to get comfort in this short life. However, because he grew up in an environment that never taught him to be evil toward others, then that selfishness was just him letting it run wild in the head, no he got away with it at all because Anara knew, when he did, he would hurt a lot of people.

“Just like, Mama and Papa are calm, okay? Everything will be alright, the kayak that An always told you.” At what time, Anara ended the conversation with a shadow of her parents who never responded to anything.

Then, after breathing out once more, Anara returned to the bed. Inevitably, could not, he had to stay asleep. Because facing a tomorrow that is still full of mystery always requires a lot of energy.

Just in case, afraid that lying down she would not produce anything, Anara played music through her phone. The soft voice of Korean singer, Do Kyung Soo, or more familiarly called D.O runs through the ears.

Anara starts to close her eyes and tries to permeate the lyrics that D.O sings. Although not fluent, he can speak a little Korean. So, it is not difficult to translate verse by verse into Indonesian, to better understand its meaning.

And just like a piece of lyrics that more or less means like this; “O unspoken worries, become deep wounds. But time always goes at the same speed, and it will eliminate all those worries later. Although life goes so, it's okay.” Anara also hopes that their lives—Anara, Olin, and Arsenio— will be fine in the future. He hopes that they will continue to be able to walk on their own roads without having to hurt each other a lot.
