Losing Us

Losing Us
Arsenio (Crazy) Galandra

The heavy traffic at work hours makes Anara reluctant to continue the journey. Finally, he asked Arsenio to pull over the car, and here he is now. Sitting sweetly in the passenger seat, while enjoying peanut seasoning chicken satay with a topping of chili and onion pieces.

Beside him, Arsenio also enjoyed her own chicken satay. Several times to comment on the savory taste of peanut spices that touch the tongue, then continue to eat with solemnity.

To accompany their eating activities, Arsenio played music from her phone. The strains of romantic songs from various countries are twisted back and forth. It was as if the man was about to express his feelings to Anara through various languages.

“Oh yes,” after attaching the last satay, Anara straightened her back. The first thing he did was not swallow the drinking water that had been prepared, but reached into his handbag and then took out a piece of photo that was accidentally carried away. “I just found this photo on your work desk, keep accidentally laughing.” Unmistakably.

Arsenio placed the empty skewers into the plastic bag, then grabbed the photo that Anara gave. Only to be made fixated long enough to look at the beautiful figure in the photo.

Unknowingly, Arsenio smiled. The beauty of Anara in the photo is like having her own magical power. Making himself feel at home lingering on, with a feeling that gradually warmed.

Arsenio still clearly remembered the reason why she decided to take a picture of Anara that night. Because that night, Anara looked so beautiful in her eyes. Highlight the woman's eyes were so shady, her thin smile that was offered to her late parents seemed so sincere and warm, she said, while his voice that melodious like a spell that makes Arsenio powerless resist the urge to capture the moment using his cellphone.

Not enough just stored in the memory of the phone, Arsenio also printed the results of his shots that night. Keep him at the desk to see at any time, if his head is dizzy and he needs comfort. And it works. Arsenio's mood could instantly improve just by looking at the photo for a few moments.

“Beautiful, yes?” tanyakanya. Oh, no, that's not a question. More leads to statements that need not be hard to refute.

“Star?” Anara asked back so nosily. Successfully made Arsenio smile subside and the man ended up frowning.

“You.” Ticus.

Anara chuckled, then handed her the bottle of drinking water she had taken to her before. “Papa said, I'm beautiful, anyway.”

“Ya is beautiful!” arsenio is a bit sewot. Even the way he took a bottle from Anara's hand was full of emotion.

“Ya already, how did it go?”

“You're nyebelin.” Gerrutu Arsenio's. The water in the bottle he sank to the end, as if he was a traveler who had just met the source of the spring after weeks of being lost in the desert.

“Still, yes.” And the thanks managed to make Arsenio quit all activities. Just to look at Anara with super-slow motion. “For everything you did, and for other things you're working on now.”

“But, I’m doing nothing..”.

“You did, Arsenio. And I thank you for every single thing you did for me. Thanks, yes, Papi.”

Whether since when, call ‘Papi’ is a big enemy for Arsenio. She could never hide the red tinge on the cheek as Anara called out so. That one word was even more devastating than the declaration of love he had heard from anyone in his entire life. And it's impressive.

“You've been doing a hobby lately making me wrong, huh?” he muttered, with a slow voice that almost sank under the sound of the song that was still spinning.

The oddity slowly sounded in response. Anara let go of the laughter so freely, after a long time.

So, there was nothing else Arsenio could do but quietly look at his wife's face. Observing how the woman's smile was getting wider between her lips that moved rattling things.

Love songs are still spinning, alternating as if they have no end. He led Arsenio to a gate that was finally wide open. The gate to completely fall on the figure of Anara, without thinking of a way out.

The time was 9 when they finally got home. After enjoying the chicken satay, they also had time to cover briefly to the city square, watching a fireworks show that was somehow made in order to commemorate what day.

The house is dark, of course. Only the porch light that has been lit because the bulb installed there is a smart type, which will automatically turn on when sunlight is no longer visible.

Arsenio took Anara with her, leading her to tread carefully in order to avoid the bumping scene that was not okay. And after all the lights he managed to turn on, then he let the woman's hand out of his grip that was too tight.

“That night, I guess you don't have to take a shower deh.” He said, after they arrived on the second floor.

“No, I still want to take a shower.” The stoic woman.

“Cold, Anara.”

“We have a facility called water heater, Arsenio. Why install expensive if you still have to dizzy cold water thing?”

Arsenio clucked, “After the bath will still be cold, even you take a bath with warm water. No, no need to take a shower. Not taking a shower last night will not make you carefree.” The omelnya at length.

However, instead of complying, Anara waltzed away, entering their room as if Arsenio's scolding never existed at all.

“Heh, do not ngeyel you if you are told by your husband!” exclaimed Arsenio, then ran after Anara before the woman actually entered the bathroom.

Arriving at the room, he finds Anara has prepared a change of clothes. And before the woman's feet swung, Arsenio first held her back.

“I want to shower, Arsenio.” Anara Pinta. There was an emphasis on every word that was spoken, evidence that the woman had started to get upset.

“Yes already, but the shower is the same as me.” Celtap Arsenio.

Anara's eyes faded, almost jumping out if the muscles there were not strong enough to hold her back. “Don't be weird!” hiss the woman.

“Not strange.” Chief Arsenio shook his head slowly. “Suami wife shower together it's normal.”

“No!” Anara jerked Arsenio's hand, about to escape as fast as she could although it seemed impossible with the condition of her distended stomach.

“Must want.” And supposedly, Anara was self-aware that her strength was nothing compared to Arsenio's.

So, when her body was raised by Arsenio and brought into the bathroom, all Anara could do was shout loudly while banging on the man's chest.

“No want!!!”

“Arsenio!!”

“Yaaaaa!!”
