LOVATY 1.0
A Proper Way

Ding Dong

The sound of a bell rang out in Calya's apartment. The woman who was sitting watching the television got up from her torquise-colored sofa and walked towards the door. Without asking who came through the intercom he immediately opened the door and let the guest in.

A person who was no stranger to him,

Qeiza. The woman who always came almost every holiday stepped in while giving a package to her friend.

Calya brought the package into the kitchen, took out an ice cream flavored strawberry cheesecake inside and placed it on a tray. He brought back a tray of ice cream along with two bottles of orange juice to the sofa, where Qeiza was sitting while playing with her smartphone.

“Are you going to play LOVEY again today? If yes then it’s all mine,” said Calya while scooping ice cream into her mouth.

Qeiza who heard that put down her smartphone, took one spoon left on the tray and ate the ice cream.

“Don't dream!” said it. He continued talking while still putting spoon after spoon of ice cream into his mouth “Again tired, males want to play.”

The ice cream had not even melted in his mouth but he still spoke “Besides, I have another mission coming here.” Calya hands the box of ice cream to the hands of Qeiza “What kind of mission?” she asked.

“Mission interrogation,” replied his friend.

The woman's hand put the spoon back on the tray and switched to reach for a bottle of orange juice there “Are you curious about that –Niskala Man-?” he said before sipping the bottle.

“Of course!” answer that friend.

He put the empty ice cream box along with his spoon back onto the tray. He also took a bottle of orange juice reserved for him, tried to open the lid but failed.

“So, what happens during your external duties?” he said he still had trouble opening the bottle.  Seeing that Calya snatched the juice bottle from her friend's hand and immediately opened the bottle in one try.

“This will be a long and annoying story,” he said as he handed over the bottle that had been opened. Qeiza picked up the bottle and directly gulped down the contents.

“That’s okay, I’m ready!” said convincing.

“He did that to you? Unbelievable!”

Qeiza responded to Calya's long story once she finished it. Perhaps Qeiza was also swept away by the story. Maybe he also felt what he felt, Calya thought.

“Finally,” he said again, just as he finished the last drop of his orange juice.

Calya was silent for a moment, she thought the word – was connected to her orange juice that had been depleted.

“Finally why?” tanyakanya.

Qeiza leaned back and casually replied “Finally you feel what I and the other staff feel.”

Calya tried to understand what her friend said. Not because of the language used, but rather the intent of the word – that word.

“Wait a minute, I don’t get it. Why do you name what I share with you and the office staff? Do you mean that I am as annoying as him? Seriously Qei!” Calya was aware that the word – her friend said was intended to mock her.

Qeiza laughed at Calya's expression “Cal, once – times you should also see from the glasses of the staff!” he said trying to explain.

“Our life has also not been so easy during this time,” he added again.

Calya could not believe what she heard, she leaned her back while looking intently at her friend.

“Everything I’ve done, it’s all based on my responsibility!” he said firmly, angry perhaps.

Qeiza looks nod – nods her head “I know, we know. That's why we're still holding on. Listen, it’s not about how you two have the same annoying side,” Qeiza began to feel this would end badly if until her friend was angry, therefore he tried to explain in more detail and be careful – hearts of course.

Indeed it made Calya soften a little, at least there was no more sharp gaze that had been seen there.

“So? What’s the point?” he asked back. Qeiza was relieved to avoid danger. He thought for a moment before answering, trying to choose the word – safe words.

“Like what you said, everything you've done is based on responsibility. I think he's the same.” Calya frowned at the sentence, “Are you sure? with that kind of behavior that he shows?”.

Qeiza took a bottle of juice belonging to Calya whose contents had not been exhausted, then drank it.

“Listen! all things troublesome and annoying of course you think, the point is all the things he did at that time. He does all of that because of he wants this project goes well, at the other words he’s perfectionist just like you.” Calya narrowed her eyes and gave a strange look to her friend.

“It seems like you know how better, why are you always siding him?” Calya begins to doubt her friend's objective viewpoint.

“Hey, I don’t have any intention. From

professionalism point of view, he can just this project run so and if the results are not appropriate, he just gonna blame it on us. But, he’s not. He even chose to work with us. That means he's serious, right?”

This time it was Calya's turn to sigh, longer and heavier. “So it’s me who has narrow minded here”.

A little bit of Qeiza's words managed to influence Calya. It's not about Ray this time, it's about whatever topic they're discussing.

It's always been like that. Often Calya can be very opinionated about her views and thoughts, then comes Qeiza who will confuse it by offering a variety of different points of view.

From Qeiza's point of view he offers various alternative ways to get to the destination faster and safer, while from Calya's point of view like he is a straight thread made tangled by Qeiza.

Qeiza was still sitting there with her head propped up on the right hand placed against the sofa. Still faithful to his favorite television show, – street program and culinary.

Sometimes he glanced at Calya who was busy in the kitchen, hoping that her friend would come back with a snack. At least enough to make him stop swallowing saliva due to food – delicious foods that he saw on television. The desire may be strong enough to be granted, Calya came out of the kitchen again with a tray containing two pancake dishes topped with strawberry sauce. The excited Qeiza wanted to instantly take her rations, though,

“Eiiittt!” Calya stopped him before Qeiza could reach for the plate.

“Take water with a glass first sana” he said again. Qeiza stepped up while slightly grumbling, yet quickly returned to the sofa after taking out one

a kettle of mineral water from the refrigerator and two glasses.

Calya greeted him by directly giving him her portion of pancakes, making Qeiza smile happily. But not the Qeiza's name if it doesn't eat while talking.

“By the way Cal, the Ray was actually never chat or phone besides work problems?”

Qeiza looked at Calya and found her friend nodding,“Aneh”.

“Why?” Calya was starting to get curious now.

”Aneh. If you think – think at first he really shows a big interest in you doesn’ he?” Qeiza spoke while pointing the spoon towards her friend.

“So?” calya replied relaxed.

“So, why he suddenly act like nothing happened?”

Calya shook her head – shook her head feeling inexhaustible. Seeing this friend was acting as if – as a detective who was talking about a case, even though he had been friends for quite a long time still he felt astonished.

“You are the one that said because of his professionalism at work, why wonder now?” Calya said it while mimicking Qeiza's way of speaking.

“Then, he will make a move after this project finish I guess,” replied Qeiza casually.

“What did you say?” calya replied instantly when she heard the word – her friend said.

“What? Don’t say that you never think about it at all. Yes at least you should have prepared something about this, Don’t you think so?”

Qeiza poured mineral water into the glass and drank it, giving a moment's pause to the conversation. Enough time for Calya to think about the answer

“It’s not necessary to think about it.”

Qeiza nodded, she did not expect her friend would behave differently on the arrival –.

“Eventhough you will refuse him –if he does confess to you-you still have to think a proper way to do it, after all he is our client. ”
