LOVATY 1.0
Sympathy and Fear

‘Love Trainer ARFriend’

She is 25 years old and is the only child in her family. She grew up in the middle of a normal – middle family. A father who works in a private company and a housewife, Nala.

The girl was an introvert and shy girl. He has a good personality and a good friendship environment. Not only that, it is also good in academics. All of those things made both of his masters very happy, as well as Nala from where this story began.

Nala continues to focus on academic achievement with the supervision of her parents. Entering junior high school he was in a new environment where there were many smart students there. No longer able to be the best in school, he thought it had disappointed his parents.

Nala begins to feel pressured by the demands to study harder. This problem sometimes sounds trivial, because other children will defend themselves or rebel in situations like this. But not for a child with a personality like Nala.

He is not a child who can express what he feels or what he thinks. He'll just shut up. As time goes on Nala grows into a sensitive child.

He absorbed all the words of those around him and thought about them all the time. That's how Nala spent her youth, focusing on academic achievement. Not a bad thing, until he was in college.

On the campus where he studied people – people recognize him as one of the nerds, and one day a man expressed his feelings for this nerd. The girl who did not have a single experience of love instantly accepted it.

Somehow the man managed to make Nala feel very special. Making Nala live her – days with enthusiasm then turned into overzealous.

He passionately does anything for the man, especially in the affairs of – assignments of college. Nala was only taken advantage of, but she didn't even realize it until – months long.

One day a friend told Nala that she saw her lover with another woman somewhere. Nala does not believe it at first but she wants to hear the truth from her own lover.

In a campus corridor where his girlfriend and his – friends are gathering. He approached the man, asked him to speak in a place. But the man loudly told him to speak there directly.

The girl ventured to talk even though she hated being the center of attention. He asked the truth of the news

he heard, hoping that the man would deny.

Instead, the man admitted it casually. When Nala asked who the woman was she replied that it was her lover without any guilt.

The man said that the confession of love he had once made to Nala was part of the bet he made and maintained their relationship all along just because he needed Nala to do all his college assignments. He also says he now doesn't need Nala anymore, warning the girl not to look for him anymore.

It was one of the most painful moments Nala had ever felt. He locked himself in a room for – days for fear that – people will talk about it. The girl even received a warning letter from the campus due to her absence.

Nala was so devastated, after knowing all the truth. At the time of – times like that no one came and gave him support or just asked his feelings. That day he realized that he had no one by his side, only himself.

“You feel it was the worst moment of your life?”

“Yes. First I felt I had been fooled, I even felt very happy for a few months but that was just my own illusion. Second I felt that I had been played, the fact that all this happened just because of a bet and he kept playing me. He made me feel right – is really bad, put me into the limelight while he knew I hated it. After the incident I was tormented when I had to walk in the campus area, I felt like everyone was looking at me and talking about myself.”

“That makes you lock yourself up at home?”

“True, I was very afraid to see the eyes of – people. Either they hate me, pity me or laugh at me. I'm right – really hate to feel that feeling.”

“How long have you kept yourself locked up?”

“About two weeks, I didn't even realize that time had passed that fast. It's so weird that I who usually never miss a class can skip that long. Even get a warning letter from campus.”

“How about your parents, they didn't ask?”

“Of course they ask. Why arrived – arrived I became like this, but they could not do anything. They don't know what – is, because all this time I never told them anything. I've always been like this, silent and closed.”

“Then friends – friends? Is no one looking for you?”

“Nothing. It's not that I don't have any friends, I'm good friends with everyone. But none of them are right – is really close to me. Either because of my personality like this, at that time I felt right – really sad.”

“You feel that way, why?”

“I never treat others badly, but I don't treat myself well. I always want to make others happy but forget what makes me happy. Doing everything for everyone is like learning or being a good listener. But not the other way around, I don't let – people hear me or understand me. The time I spent growing up was filled with a process to socialize, understand the character – characters of others and build my own character. But since I've always focused on academics, I've never done that.”

“Is there something or someone you blame?”

“I want to blame something or someone for everything that has happened, but there is nothing to think about but myself. Everything happens by my own choice. I decide, then I have to

responsible.”

“So without friends and family how do you bounce back.”

“When I felt myself pitiful and started to hate myself, I started to feel that this was unfair. I also have a right to be happy. Even if the choice I made before was a mistake, I have the right to correct it. Not for others but for myself.”

“So you finally got up and went back to your life again, amazing!”

“It's not that simple, all I did was go back to college to fix the – grades that were lost and pursue all the lessons left behind. But nothing has changed from me, to be alone and silent. Because everything that happens makes me avoid people – people especially if it's a man.”

“Yes, I want to change but don't know how. Or if I have to ask, I have no one to answer. That's what I was thinking at the time. I want to fix it myself is that possible? Then I started using LOVATY."

“Where did you get the idea to use LOVATY?”

“It's not hard to know about LOVATY, it's very popular in my campus. Every corner of campus I could hear the students talking about LOVATY. That's where I started to find out about LOVATY over the internet. If LOVATY is really as good as – people say, then this might help me.”

“How so? Is LOVATY right – really that good?”

“Iya, true – is really hard to believe. At first I only used ARFriend as a practicing friend, how to be more open with others, how to socialize and so on. But the longer it changed, I was right – really feel get a friend.”

“What makes you feel so comfortable?”

“First, she is very responsive. Whatever it is must have been well-respected. Answer every question to give advice. I don't even feel afraid at all to tell you anything.”

“It looks like it's true – really helps, because to be honest since first seeing you I don't feel you are a loner and a quiet person.”

“Didn't I look more natural now?”

“Last I want to ask, do you already have a lover again now?”

“Iya. Because lucky ARFriend it looks like a real man. I ask a lot of questions about men's problems, such as whether if a man does this means he is serious, or how the behavior of – men who pretend – pretend or play – play. I feel safe because I have an ARFriend like a coach, so if my relationship ends or I meet other bad guys I know how to behave.”

“It's great to see you, now is there any message you want to convey?”

“Maybe many use LOVATY to play – play or just follow the trend. But LOVATY can indeed help, it helps me and can definitely help others as well.”

***

Funny too, why do I feel sorry for Nala? Though I did not know him and his story is like a teen drama that aired on television.

While reading this I could imagine what if it happened to me. Feeling happy over a lie, being used or played with.

At least I'm more fortunate to have Qeiza my best friend. But I'm not too open with him either. What if one day a bad guy approaches me but I'm fooled? How to know the person really – or not? I also had no previous experience of love. Why do I feel like Nala is similar to me?

‘Aaaahh’

The woman was dizzy with her own thoughts. He slammed his hand against his side. The smartphone that he had been holding also crashed a little far from the position of his hand.

He faced the side, had a moment to think then take back the smartphone, turn on the screen. When the screen turns on the end of the article again looks ‘Maybe many use LOVATY to play – play or just follow the trend. But LOVATY can indeed help, it helps me and can definitely help others as well’.

‘What should I try also’ he said inwardly. Calya considered trying it out even though it wasn't that night, it was too late and her eyes were already heavy. Maybe tomorrow, even if he still remembers with this intention.

Saturday morning in the apartment with white shades. On the day off, Calya looks very relaxed. He's glad he didn't have to get up at 6 this morning. Even the state of his apartment that is still very neat makes him not have to clean the house today.

Very supportive situation to relax. But women who are used to the busyness are even confused. What should he do today?

He sat on the sofa, watching television while holding a pack of snacks in his left hand. While his right hand held a remote and was busy choosing a television channel. He surrendered!

There is no one interesting show on television, finally he just watched the news. While continuing to chew he stared at the television as if he was watching a romantic drama very focused.

‘Next news came from Klandestin Corp. The mysterious company that always innovates in every product they release has not long launched their latest product called LOVATY. An Augmented Reality program called can help people in dealing with emotional issues, characters to romance. After doing a luxury Grand launching on February 14, LOVATY users continue to increase every day.'

'To date, more than 10 million people use LOVATY. Not only that, the response from the community and users is also very positive. Can be seen from various hashtags about LOVATY that meet the list of trending on social media every day.'

'The Clandestine side is also active in sharing real-life stories of users on their website pages on a daily basis. LOVATY is indeed a new trend among the public and this trend is predicted to last long enough.’

Calya was still staring at the television there, after the news ended she remembered her intentions last night, using LOVATY. He took his smartphone, as he remembered Qeiza had downloaded the application on his phone.

His considerate friend even left transparent glasses that were always used to play LOVATY in his apartment. Although Calya does not know how to use it yet, but she will soon find out.

After the application opens, he is asked to scan his face. Calya put her face parallel to the smartphone screen. Then came out the order to use ARGlasses. So he put on those transparent glasses and pressed the ‘IN’ button on his smartphone screen.

Calya was speechless, there was nothing on the screen no sound, no commands or anything. ‘Is something wrong?’ thought. He gave up, put the smartphone to his right.

“AAAaaaaa..”.

The sound of screaming was heard throughout the room. The woman shouted very loudly, there was something she had seen. Something scared him enough that he had to close his eyes at this moment.

‘Is it a ghost?’ he said in his heart. Calya ventured to open her eyes and look at him once more.

“Why yell?” say someone there.
