Time passed and left only one week before the live broadcast was held. At Arion's request, they will gather in the Parama Ad meeting room to discuss the concept that has been prepared.
Calya sat alone in the room, she deliberately waited early in the room to prepare for everything. His left hand held a sheet of paper while his right hand could not be separated from his smartphone. Occasionally check incoming messages from his team members.
“You're alone.”
Calya looked to the origin of the sound. Arion was standing at the entrance of the meeting room, staring at him.
“Not yet to meet,” said the woman while looking towards her left wrist.”
“I did come early on purpose.”
Calya ignored the man and refocused on what he was doing. Arion approached and sat down on the chair right in front of the woman. Chin-mounted, staring at Calya.
He looked at the woman carefully. How bad the woman is with what she does. Not a single sound, except the sound of the sheet of paper that he alternated and the sound of his phone as he tapped on his screen.
But after staring intensely, the woman did not notice it in the least. It's like they're in a different world, where Calya can't see Arion. Until the man laughed to himself, Calya looked at him
“What's up?” ask the woman.
“No.”
Calya returns to her job, without taking Arion's behavior seriously which might be considered strange to others.
“Do you love your job so much?”
“What?”
“See from earlier you are so focused, that you don't care about handsome people like me looking at you.”
“This job I love, is part of the project you are working on.”
“I didn't know you were this cool to me. Do you like me that much?”
Calya did not respond to a question from Arion, only furrowing her brows.
“That time you even bothered to explain the situation to my father, how deep do you feel about me?”
Calya really ran out of words to hear the words that Arion said. Instead of responding to a sentence that he thought was nonsense, he let out a long sigh. When that door opened.
“You have been waiting a long time?”
Ray enters the meeting room and is followed by Damian shortly after. Both took their positions in one of the empty seats.
“Where is Qeiza?”
“She went out looking for some needs?”
“Self?”
“Yes. Why?”
“Not that he should be here to explain the concept?”
Calya lifted a few sheets of paper in her left hand.
“That's my job now.”
The four people ended up drowning in a serious meeting atmosphere. Calya explained a few things about the concept and preparation that she and her team had been working on, interspersed with questions from the men there. The rest, they fill with discussions to choose more effective and efficient ways that they can use.
“Good. If indeed there is nothing more to discuss, our meeting ends and the continuation of this project will be executed according to the decision that has been approved earlier,” Damian said closing the meeting.
The four people stood up, shook hands and said goodbye to each other.
“Sorry I can't take you guys to the front. There are other meetings I have to attend.”
Damian left the meeting room first at a rather quick pace. The three men were still standing there. For a moment there was awkwardness that felt because no one spoke.
“If you need help, just tell me,” said Arion, between trying to break the silence and warmhearted.
“This offer should have been given one week ago, now me and my team are self sufficient to do all our own tasks.”
Calya curtly answered and passed away leaving the meeting room. Arion was stunned by the woman's cold response ‘What's my fault?’ thought. Ray came out and followed the woman.
“Calya!”
The woman turned around and found Ray already behind her.
“When will you pick up your stuff?”
“Needle? What stuff?”
“Qeiza? I'll ask him later.”
“That stuff is in the car now. You can take it.”
“Wait a minute.”
Calya is busy with her phone, trying to contact anyone who can help her.
“Don't say you'll make me bring it myself.”
Calya was silent at the words Ray said. No one replied to the message, which meant no one would help carry the goods.
“Oh really? You really will make me bring the goods itself, i’m your client here.”
“I'll help you. Come!”
Ray smiled at Calya's behavior, without hesitation and without a word please make her obey her orders. ‘What a careless woman,’ she said inwardly.
Arriving at the parking lot Ray opened the trunk door of his car, revealing several boxes inside there. Medium-sized boxes that are impossible to carry by one person at a time.
“This is all?”
“Ya.”
“Good.”
Calya picked up a few boxes, stacked them together and lifted them up. Just a few steps began to drift and almost crashed into the floor if there was no Ray there. Ray holds Calya's body with his hands while the boxes scatter on the ground.
“You're okay - what?” Ray helps Calya to wake up.
“You think you can bring it all while your view is blocked box - that box?”
“I'm just trying.”
“Before trying you should know first the limits of your ability,” Ray took two pieces of boxes that fell and gave them to Calya.
“This is the limit of your ability,” while he brings the rest.
“Give me, how could you possibly bring it all.”
“If I fall you have to catch me like I caught you.”
Calya was speechless hearing Ray's words that made no sense to her.
“I'm just kidding. My body is tall and strong, will not easily fall.”
The two of them continued on their way, taking the boxes to Creative Department.. Arriving there the room looks lonely, it seems everyone is handling their duties - each in another place. Given his busy schedule it was very natural to happen.
They put the boxes near Calya's desk. After that Ray started to look at Calya while shaking her waist.
“What?” ask Calya. But instead of answering, Ray just kept silent and kept staring at him.
“What?” Calya repeated her question when she could not get an answer.
Ray then makes a body movement that if interpreted to be ‘I've brought these boxes here, then?’ Fortunately, Calya was quick enough to understand.
“Thank you,” he said gently. Even without a smile on his face.
The woman looks funny in Ray's eyes, until he ruffled his hair because of anxiety. “Good girl!” he said before he walked away. While Calya who was left behind still put on an annoyed look.
“Sucks!”
Ray walked down the corridor with a smile on his face. His brain continued to replay the memory of his proximity and the Calya that had just happened. Maybe it was nothing, but for a cold, indifferent and reclusive woman like Calya the moment just now was extremely rare for her to get.
“I have to thank Qeiza later.”
“Qeiza? What happened to Qeiza?”
Ray who was talking to himself was startled by the response of someone behind him. Damian, who knows when he's been standing there.
“You. Just surprise me!”
“You haven't answered my question, what's wrong with Qeiza?”
“You're curious, why?”
“Hey, man. You can't play with a woman's heart!”
“What do you mean? Who is playing with a woman's heart!”
