Chapter 202 Canceling the marriage
Toni takes Dina to a restaurant on the edge of town. Restaurant nuanced nature, there are small gubugs on top of a large pool. There is a bamboo bridge that connects one gubug to another gubug.
Toni accidentally takes Dina there and chooses a place on the other end because she wants to solve both of their problems. Dina just kept quiet, she followed what Toni did.
Dina is tired of facing Toni. He had obeyed what would Toni even sacrifice the desire to obey what Toni wanted but again Toni still doubted the sacrifice of Dina.
Dina sat in silence, she didn't feel she was doing anything wrong so she didn't have to give any explanation to Toni. Instead he wants Toni to explain why lately their relationship is getting further after their wedding date is determined.
"why are you quiet?" ask Toni coldly
"what am I supposed to say?" dina replied no less cold.
"explain to me why you've been so hard to contact lately?"
"should I explain how else? you who never contacted me why now I'm the guilty one" Dina was upset this once she wanted to selfishly vent her emotions to Toni
"you said I never called you, who did you call at lunchtime? Other guy? I called you but you didn't answer"
"i'm in a meeting, I'm meeting a client, do I have to pick up your phone? Disrespectful Ton.I tried my best not to make mistakes in my work"
"that's just your excuse" Toni still doubted Dina
"whether you want to believe it or not, I never lie to you" Dina was really tired of dealing with Toni's nature like that.
"do you want to understand a little bit what I want? Hem...? There are many things I have sacrificed in order to comply with what you want, but what do I get? You still don't trust me!" Dina began to bring out what she had been alone, even her eyes were already watering, she was really already at the saturation point
"tell me how else is Ton? Huh...? I'm tired of always being like this.we should just cancel our marriage.." The tears that he had been holding back had finally escaped as well, Dina was no longer able to stem his tears. Dina did not want to be pitied because she was crying, but this time she was crying because she really did not know how else to do it.
Toni was silent, she was unmoved by everything that Dina said. His jealousy and doubt had covered his heart's eyes. But Toni gasps as Dina says she wants to cancel their marriage. He was confused about what he was feeling right now.
There was a sense of sadness in his heart however, for a moment his brain thought as he saw Dina laughing along with another man. "What....?! You want to cancel our wedding?!" Toni took a deep breath trying not to say anything rude to Dina
"what's the reason that guy you've become like this?" Tony did not accept
"which guy? Don't throw your mistakes at others!" Dina is no less screaming. It was fortunate that they were at the very end of the cave, the quietest in the restaurant
"obviously you were with that guy, he must have poisoned your mind" Toni said cynically
"do not involve others in our problems! I've told you.if you don't change I'll leave you" Dina breathed deeply trying to calm herself "I'll talk to Papa Yanuar about canceling our marriage" dina's tone turned cold.
"cancel you said?! Don't ever expect me to let you go!"
Dina took her bag, then left Toni. He thought this debate would never be over, it was better for Dina to end it all now.
"Dina wait..!" yell out Toni
While Dina ran away from Toni who was still being held by the waiter because she ran and had not paid for their food. Dina stops the taxi, and tells the taxi driver to go to Toni's home address.
Dina has arrived in front of Toni's father's house. He stared at the two-story house he had been visiting lately. Dina began to step on her feet, although there was a hint of doubt in her heart, but it was better now that she said it to her father Toni.
Dina never asked Toni anything, she just wanted to be loved and believe in him. Just those two were enough for Dina. But it seems like Toni still often doubts herself.
Dina walked into the house, at that hour her father Toni just came home from the office. Dina has memorized the habits of her future father-in-law.
"Non Dina.bapak is in his study Non.." said mbok Nah.
"thank you mbok..." Dina also walked towards the workspace of her future father-in-law.
Dina knocked on the door first then opened the door slowly.
"eh...kamu Din...Is there any file I need to sign?" ask Tony's dad
"no pa.." said Dina standing in front of the desk "there's something I want to talk to papa about"
Toni's father frowned "talk what? Let's sit down first." Toni's dad got up from his seat then sat on the sofa in the room.
Dina followed him and sat down next to his future father-in-law, "now speak.." his father Toni noticed Dina whose eyes looked puffy.
"previously Dina apologized pa" Dina bowed, her father Toni raised one eyebrow "maybe Dina is not the right wife-to-be for Toni" Dina held tightness in her chest.
It was hard to say it, Toni's father was too kind to her. He could not hurt the old man. But he had to tell his father Toni. Dina is already tired enough to have to face Toni who suddenly doubts her love.
