Chapter 26 Is Getting Away
Monday morning, a day that many people hate. The day everyone started to get busy with their activities.
Dina left early in the morning riding her motorcycle. I arrived at school earlier than usual. Dina put down her bag and went to the front of the wall magazine board.
Dina read a wall magazine that was replaced by an OSIS manager every two weeks.
"well enough?" greet someone from behind
"already" Dina replied pulling both corners of her lips up "thank you for driving me home that time"
"well, if Rani's not freaking out, there's no way I'm taking you"
"uh.hey..." Dina chuckles
Then the man left Dina alone. He doesn't want Din to get in trouble with Toni. He knew that Dina was rumored to be close to him, when in reality Dina was close to everyone.
The doorbell rang, Dina walked into her class. Roy smiled happily to see Dina was already healthy.
"i don't think you're in anymore Din." said Roy.
Dina just smiled and sat in her chair. "thankfully you are healthy" said Rani look relieved
"it turns out a lot of people miss me" Dina chuckled
Toni entered the club with Bian and Angga, she just stared flat at him.
"you're healed? Though later I want to go to the house to visit you" said Toni softly without feeling guilty
"already" Dina replied briefly. Rani looks surprised to hear Toni's words while Roy is acting ordinary because he already knows it.
The first break bell rang, Dina did not go straight out of class, she was still sitting accompanied by Rani while Roy had gone out with other classmates.
"weren't you in Din's cafeteria?" ask Rani
"later on the second break, I was lazy to come out, still a little dizzy too"
"Din..I want to ask you something, but you don't get angry?" ask Rani carefully
"what's Ran?" dina asked frowning her forehead
"hmmm...you and Toni are fine, right?" rani asked a little unkindly
"yes..what's wrong?" Dina further frowned
"hmm.I've seen lately that you're rarely alone"
Dina thinks a little "she is busy preparing for a basketball tournament, the proof is that our school can win" said Dina
"oh..so yes.I guess you guys have broken up" said Rani Lirih.
Dina still heard what Rani said. He wondered if he and Toni had broken up. But he loves Toni too much, it is undeniable that in the last few days he felt Toni was far away from him.
The second break, Dina left her class and went to the cafeteria with Rani. It has been a month lately Dina more often eat with Rani thanpad Toni.
Her bias when Dina was with her friends Toni always pulled her, as if Dina should not be with her friends, this time instead Dina spent more time with her friends.
Dina returns to her class, from a distance she sees Toni gathering with her friends.
"later in the afternoon we celebrate our victory...! " said Bian
"just us?" ask Angga
"yes our team... In ordinary places yes, you can invite one person up to anyone" said Bian with a cocky tone
"all right.I'll take Dina, I've been ignoring her for a long time" said Toni excitedly.
"but Bi...!"
"what you're doing is not important at all" said Bian Ketus
"iya.iya Bi.iya I did not invite Dina" Toni said flatly
Dina heard all their talk, her chest felt tight, Toni preferred to go with her friends. He did not dispute his friend.
"i didn't expect Bian to be like that" Rani said
Dina just smiled, then she took a deep breath and exhaled him. "let's go to class" said Dina flat
Dina walked past Toni and her friends without looking at Toni. Although it feels tight, Dina must still look strong she does not want to be considered a crybaby.
A few days passed, Dina and Toni looked like strangers, Dina with her flat attitude while Toni was still as if she had nothing wrong.
Dina is tired of Toni's attitude, she doesn't know what to do. Toni no longer paid attention to him. Just to talk when they are in class. When the break Dina rarely can be with Toni, let alone eat together, to just chat Toni like there is no time.
"Ton.I want to talk to you about something" said Dina holding back the feeling in her chest.
"what does princess say? Later we go home from school, Saturday we take a walk for a while" said Toni softly "we have not gone together for a long time"
"alright.." answered Dina flatly.
Toni passed leaving Dina alone in front of the class. Toni went after her friends who had already gone to the cafeteria.
The school sign bell has rung. Dina tidied up her books and stationery. Rani went home first. Toni changes her seat and sits in Rani's chair.
"we're not going to Din.I have an appointment with friends" Toni said with regret.
"yes...!" dina answered without looking at Toni
"actually you want to talk about what, we just talk here, yes." said Toni softly.
"Ton.." said Dina doubtfully.
"yes..what's up?" ask Toni softly
"it looks like we just broke up..." Dina tried to hold back her tears
"why Din?!" asked Toni in a high tone "is it because you now have another guy?!"
Dina was flabbergasted, getting the charges from Toni. He didn't know why Toni could think like that.
"you never had time for me Ton..so why are we dating when we're strangers?!" said Dina with a high tone
"you know for yourself I've been busy training lately for tournaments!"
"that's just your excuse, because you prefer another guy! Aye right?!" snapped Toni
"busy practicing you say?! You just hang out with your friends instead of practicing!"
"are you accusing me of cheating?! Who is cheating with?!" Dina had already ignited her emotions.
Dina has been patient enough, now Dina's patience has been at its limit. He loves Toni, but he also does not want to be constantly ignored.
Dina has given time for Toni to realize her mistake but not realize, but the cheating allegations that she got.
