Chapter 37 Secuil Toni's attention
Throughout the first hour of lesson Toni's mind was fixed on Dina. He did not calm down before Dina was as friendly to him as yesterday when she went to Dina's house.
Toni's first break to Dina's class but Dina is no longer in her class. Toni returns home, she is lazy to be at school while she does not know where Dina is.
Arriving at home, Toni headed straight to the kitchen. He approached mbok Nah who was cooking.
"mas Toni alone?" ask mbok Nah
"iya mbok" replied Toni lethargic
"usually with mas Roy" said mbok Nah
Toni did not answer, she sat at the table near the kitchen. Toni daydreams thinking of Dina.
"The father of Toni mas seems to like non Dina" said mbok Nah approached Toni
"huh...what's mbok?" tanya Toni gasped
"it den Yanuar likes non Dina mas." said mbok Nah.
"likes how mbok?" ask Toni curiously
"so the morning of his father mas Toni said, non Dina was reminding his father mas to his underclassmen when he was still in school" said mbok Nah
"so, you know, and what else did you say?" ask Toni curiously
"just say non Dina is beautiful, friendly, and according to her father Toni non Dina her face is a little similar to Toni's mas" mbok Nah chuckled
Toni did not expect her papa's assessment of Dina to be so good. Usually he will be indifferent to his son's friends. Toni hangs out with whoever her mom's dad doesn't care.
Especially her mother who is a councilor in her city. My mother was so busy with her work. Almost every week there is always a day when his mother is out of town.
His mother was less often at home than his father. Her father Toni rarely went out of town for more than two days, only she went home early in the night so rarely met Toni.
Toni returns to her class, she becomes lazy to get into class. Her spirit was lost due to being ignored by Dina. Lesson after lesson he went through but none of his teacher's explanations that he caught well.
The evening break bell had rung, she returned to Dina's class, lucky that Dina was still in her class. Toni is waiting outside Dina's class. But Dina did not come out even though Dina's friends had gone out of class.
Toni ventured into Dina's class and approached Dina who was sitting daydreaming by herself at her desk.
"you're not eating?" ask Toni
Dina looked at Toni who entered her class approaching her. Dina answered with a head.
"mayo I'm with you, would you like to eat meatballs in a normal place?" ask Toni softly
Dina was silent, not answering Toni's words. "I know you're still sad, but you have to keep eating" Toni said softly
Dina's eyes glazed over looking at Toni.
"do you want to eat at my house?" toni asked softly, Dina shook her head.
"then eat meatballs in an ordinary place, yes." said Toni pulled Dina's hand gently.
Dina followed Toni's steps walking to Toni's house. Toni rushed out her bike, she did not want Dina to wait for him too long. Toni rode her motorcycle at a moderate pace to a meatball stall not far from their school.
Arriving at the place where the brand was headed, Toni invited Dina into the stall and ordered meatballs for Dina. Soon their orders came.
"eat first." said Toni softly. Dina simply stared at her bowl of meatballs without intending to eat them
"i'm bribing ya..." Toni started spooning the meatballs and feeding it into Dina's mouth. Dina took the spoon that Toni was holding.
"i eat alone." said Dina flat.
Toni handed him the spoon she held. He did not want to force Dina, because Dina's condition was really still grieving. Toni only noticed Dina could eat right.
Her efforts were not in vain, although a little longer than usual, Dina finished her food. Toni breathed a sigh of relief at least despite only eating a meatball one bowl of Dina keisi's stomach.
Toni parked her motorcycle in the school parking lot. He did not want Dina to avoid him when she wanted to take Dina home. Dina got off in front of the guard post and left Toni who was still parking her bike.
Toni sighed looking at Dina who left her. Toni tried to hold back her emotions, actually she wanted to be angry to face Dina's attitude like that.
But seeing Dina who is sad and often daydreaming makes Toni pity. Toni walks into her class and passes Dina's class. He saw Dina sitting alone in the front garden of her class.
"Princess.." said Toni softly.
Dina looked at Toni with her flat gaze. His feelings were mixed, between sad, happy and angry.
Dina felt Toni little by little showed her regret, but Dina was too hurt so she did not want to give more hope to Toni.
As much as possible he will be flat and tend to be unfriendly, for the healing of his heart wound. Being ignored and trusting the words of others was what he felt toward Toni.
Dina will never forget that. Although Dina has forgiven Toni but he has not been able to forget Toni's mistakes. Dina is too sick to be ignored and not trusted.
"what are you daydreaming about hmm?" ask Toni softly
"it's okay" Dina got up and walked into her class
Toni sighed harshly, she walked towards her class.
The school bell has rung. Toni rushes out of her class and to Dina's class, Toni waits patiently for Dina's teacher who is teaching in Dina's class yet to come out.
Five minutes he waited, the teacher who taught in Dina's class came out. Toni immediately approached Dina who was out of her class. All the eyes of her friend Dina were on her and Dina, but Toni did not care, all she cared about was Dina.
Toni pulled Dina's hands gently "let me drive home" Toni softly said
"i can take the bus home Ton.." said Dina flat.
"it's Din's afternoon, after all, this morning I picked you up so I also have to take you home"
Dina gives up, argues with Toni sometimes he won't win. Dina follows Toni from behind, walking to the motor park. Dina hugged Toni without a single word uttered from her lips.
Fifteen minutes drive, they reached Dina's house. Dina came down from Toni's arms "thank you" said Dina flatly
"Din.." said Toni.
Dina stared at Toni's astonishment "what's up?"
"you still haven't forgiven me?" ask Toni sissy
Dina sighed "i've forgiven you for a long time" Dina flatly said
"why is your attitude still cold towards me?" asked Toni with a glare
"i went in first." said Dina and then she went into her house.
