Mother to My Children

Mother to My Children
Chapter 2

"Athan! Let's hurry down, Nala's hungry!" Shouted Nala calling her twin sister with her slurred and coquettish voice. Athan is Nala's call to Nathan.

Nathan who heard Nala's cry straight out of his room with an annoyed face.

"You're so noisy Nala, my eardrum almost broke because of that cry. If hungry where there is energy to scream so," said Nathan rubbed his ears and straight ahead of Nala.

"If Nala doesn't yell, where does Athan hear, huh!" cebik Nala then followed the twin.

Nathan and Nala sit in a chair waiting for their father to come. Nathan took a quick look at Nala and laughed.

"Your hair is a mess, who pulled it? Ugly!" ledek Nathan's.

"Be quiet! This is the work of daddy, and I appreciate it," Nala said in a sad tone, in fact she could ask the help of her nanny's aunt to justify it, but she would not.

"Hi boy! Good morning!" sapa Bara kissed Nathan's head.

"Daddy stops kissing Nathan, Nathan isn't a kid anymore, huh good thing only Nala sees," Nathan protests as he rubs his own head.

Bara only responds with a smile, her kiss turning to her daughter, Nala.

"Princess daddy, why are you still pouting?" bara asked, he pulled out a chair and sat on it.

"Athan cut me daddy," looked at Nathan not forgetting his index finger he pointed at his twin brother.

"What's? why look at me like that Nala? Let's make your ponytail so ugly and messy" Nathan sneered.

"Daddy, hua hua hua, Nathan is evil, Nala hates Nathan, hua hua hua,"

Bara let out a long sigh, drama like this happened almost every morning in his residence. However, that is what makes his very large house become colored.

"Princess baby, listen daddy, you're always beautiful, don't listen to your sister, she's just kidding, okay?" said Bara while giving a sandwich to his little princess.

"Couldy really? Like mommy?" Nala wants to emphasize, Bara always told her daughter if she is very beautiful like her mother.

"Yups, like mommy," Bara said.

"And you boy, don't like to bother your sister, it's not good to fight with your own brother, help daddy take care of her, okay?" Bara knows, although likes to tease his twin sister, but Nathan is very caring and loving Nala.

"That daddy said, you're my sister, so call me sister," glanced at Nala.

"We're Athan's twins" Nala won't lose.

"I'm your brother, you're small and short. Quickly call me brother, or later if anyone bothers you at school, I don't want to help," said Nathan, his hands crossed in front of his chest, his face stretched to the side.

"No, Athan is naughty!!"

"Already, already, as soon as you finish eating it, daddy has to leave now," Bara stood up and kissed her two babies alternately and of course Nathan objected to the kiss.

"The kiss is only for daddy's daughter, I'm a boy! Next time don't do it again!" nathan said with his arrogant face.

"God, why are my boys so arrogant and cold? Like dejavu, "inner Bara. Bara ruffled Nathan's hair and smiled and turned to leave them.

"Daddy is a liar, break the promise!" yelled Nala crying.

Bara stopped his steps, he closed his eyes for a moment and turned his head.

"Sorry baby, today daddy really can't take you to school, you guys go with nanny and driver sir huh?" bara said.

"Alright," said Nala softly, a clear disappointment on her face. He knew his father disliked it the most.

Bara smiled bitterly, he could see Nala was so sad, unlike Nathan who was smart to hide his feelings, just like him. Bara continued his steps.

"Daddy wait!" nala's screams again stopped Bara's steps.

"Daddy's tie isn't right, messy!" Nala pointed towards the tie Bara was wearing.

Nala shakes.

"Nala can't daddy, it's mommy's job, sorry, if Nala is big it can," Nala lowered her head.

Bara approached her little daughter again, and smiled. Kiss the princess's forehead.

"Then, daddy will allow himself, you continue eating, daddy left first. Boy, take care of your sister!" Bara turned to Nathan who was busy eating and indifferent to the circumstances around.

"Huh, it looks like I have to find a wife dady, let someone take care, just put a tie can't" Nathan murmured. Bara just shook his head, the boy, sometimes it is prematurely mature.

"You're right Athan, Nala agrees, let there be a friend, who is shanty," Nala said innocently.

When the embers passed the door, her mother-in-law whom she had considered to be her own mother came.

" Mama, why are you here so early?" ask Bara.

"Of course to take my favorite grandchildren to school, because you certainly can not take them on busy grounds" said Ms. Lidya.

Bara scrunched his forehead.

"They have a nanny and a driver, tell me why are you here?" Bara knew, surely her in-laws had other intentions, until early in the morning had visited her residence.

"Say what? Mama just want to visit the grandchildren of mama, mama will stay a few days here because one more week they will have a birthday, mama will prepare a party for them, you do not forget?"

Of course Bara remembers, because on the day of his son's birth, Bara also lost his beloved wife. Like getting happiness and sadness at the same time.

" Hem, I'm leaving first" Bara kissed her mother-in-law's hand.

" Wait, um what about the woman you sent her picture to yesterday? Is it right to be mommy twins? When are you gonna meet?"

"I guessed it, there must be shrimp behind the bakwan. The ends must be talking about a mate, a future wife, a mother for the twins bla bla bla bla," Inner Bara who has memorized the habits of his dearest in-laws. It's been the umpteenth time that Lidya's mom asked her to go on a blind date with a woman, from a doctor, a top artist, to a wealthy businessman, all of whom Bara refused before she met them. He has no intention of getting married again.

"Em, tomorrow Bara will look for another driver for mama, so that mama does not bother Varel anymore, but do not be fired again if there is a new driver," Bara diverted the conversation, but he did not want to, he most dislikes discussing other women, let alone discussing marriage.

"Mama wouldn't fire him if he wasn't rude, asking mama to be his wife. What a mama girl, uh really talk about mama anyway, is talking mama's friend's son,"

"Bara is busy, there is no time to discuss such unimportant matters, Bara left first, Varel is waiting" Bara said, saying, he waved at his sister-in-law who was waiting for him beside the car, they were going to leave for the office together.

A moment later, Bara has entered the car and Varel immediately runs his car according to Bara's orders.

" So you son-in-law! , did you look around?" ms. Lidya clenched her hands towards the two men who stood firmly in front of Bara's house. The two men just lowered their heads while holding back their laughter.

"Hello every body! Oma's favorite twin, i'am coming yuhuuu!" exclaimed Bu Lidya approached his two grandchildren who were engrossed in breakfast.

"Tuh Nala, your twin is coming" Nathan whispered as he heard his boisterous voice.

"My flock is Athan" she said, chewing on the sandwich she had just bitten.

"But you're more like an oma" Nathan said.

"No, I am beautiful like mommy, said daddy," Timpal Nala relaxed as he swung his dangling legs and did not reach the floor yet.
