My Beloved Perjaka

My Beloved Perjaka
The beginning is not the end.

I never imagined once in my life having to face Abhimanyu this fast. The experience of dating and housekeeping is of no use. In front of this man I felt smaller and didn't have enough options to brag about things.

I pulled the paper bag that Abhimanyu gave me. His grin widened while staring at the screen of his phone.

"Don't laugh, let alone rub my body now!" I said seriously, "I'd be offended by that."

"Aunty was happy yesterday?" Abhimanyu put his phone on the table. Then the part I hate the most, he looks comfortable taking off his jacket and then laying down on the long sofa while staring at the ceiling of the house.

"I don't know for sure what made Auntie go that time. But after I found out today Aunt is happy with her amazing present condition, it's so much better than my thoughts all along."

I smiled with a warm heart after taking out a dozen chocolates from inside the paper bag. The second round brought me back when Abhimanyu gave me the same chocolate, two years ago.

"My reason is you!" I threw a chocolate bar into his chest. "Hopefully it's not just me who has to keep up appearances!"

Abhimanyu glanced at me with a big smile, he opened the wrapper while biting it. The chocolate fracture he chewed slowly while still looking at me.

"The entertainment world demands me to keep up appearances, including weight. That's why, the one thing I remember all too well from the perfectionist Aunt Bella is not having dinner."

"Wow." I chuckled in admiration, "it looks like things are turning around now? I'm sure you understand me better, and vice versa." I said blatantly.

"true." Abhimanyu nodded, he got up. Sit back with a firm attitude. His face became serious even though he had finished a packet of chocolate.

"Wanna drink first?" I grinned.

Abhimanyu sniffed his shoulders. "I can take it myself."

"okay." I secured an unsettling second sitting position. He constantly looked at me as if digesting the situation.

"Why?" I asked, "is there anything else you want to say, Abi? I have to clean up all the memorabilia before welcoming my future." I explained as I pointed to my room. "You slept there without my permission!"

Abhimanyu's hand gripped tightly against the edge of the sofa. "I'm looking forward to Auntie and hoping that the smell of Auntie's perfume makes you feel close!"

Seriously, it looks no joke. Abhimanyu moved beside me.

The situation became hot, as hot as the sun outside the house.

I swallowed hard. The chocolate felt sticky in the throat. "I can accept the reason, continue. I'll answer everything if it's good for you to move on!" I said seriously, I want him to calm down and not bother me anymore with his war like a jailhole. This one doesn't seem to change.

"Who's Joe?"

"Joe?" muttered. Strange, why did he ask who Joe was. Why is Joe?

I wet my lips, "Awhile. I need some water. My departure was too sweet, fearing that it would come out is also sweet and unrealistic."

"As before?"

"Yes!"

Abhimanyu received a glass of water from me. "Thank you."

"Together." I turned on the television, the dense silence slowly being replaced with voices from inside the television screen.

In my house, there is a new actor. Abhimanyu was no longer a boy that I could easily reach out to his desires, responsibilities and feelings. He is good at acting, has a career and money.

For a moment I hesitated to sit down again near Abhimanyu. Maybe he's acting, or is exploring a character for role savings. Finally I was just leaning against the wall, under the abstract painting you bought at the Jatinegara flea market.

"Joe is a security guard that I assigned two years ago to look after you in a club or cafe. All about your activities there can be from Sisca's men. Everything, except your personal business."

Abhimanyu choked, his expression turning wary.

"Well, but it's only for a minute. After I decided to leave your life. I brought him in, while you kept what I promised yesterday until you were twenty-one."

I smiled, her age is legal to get married according to state requirements. But everything has changed. There is no more tree of hope, there is only continuing what must be lived after today.

"My promise is also done, Abhimanyu. What we agreed on is done."

After saying that, I tried to see Abhimanyu's expression that he showed. But he was ordinary, as if my words were meaningless.

Abhimanyu. "It's not fair."

"Not fair?" my many.

"While Auntie can find out from afar. I'm not at all. Is that fair?" Abhimanyu's index finger touched my chest. His breath hit my face. Her brows were beautifully linked and her bead eyes exuded an adult charm that made me unable to turn my gaze away. "Tante knows what I'm going through, is that satisfactory? Is there no one sick in here? Sick like me?"

I clasped his fingers. "I'm sick, I'm missing you, but women will be much sicker without certainty. You understand? Choosing to go, seeking answers and avoiding everything I didn't want was a decision of desperation. You're free, I'm the same, there's no connection whatsoever to this relationship so don't be complicated."

"okay." Abhimanyu took his hand out of my grasp. "Still the same, stubborn and prestige."

"No!" refute me, "I just saved you from the stamp of an unfaithful man! You should thank me, damn it."

Abhimanyu turned his head while grimacing amusedly. He nodded his head after I grumbled.

"Okay Aunt, I'm grateful for Aunt's efforts that led me and Brigitta to break up. Very good this aunt, thank you." Abhimanyu pinched both of my cheeks. "Gemes, fat, and what it is. I'm so confident right now near Auntie."

"Damn." I stepped on his foot, thankfully the moments that felt like chasing a long dream soon passed. Regardless of what I said, Abhimanyu grabbed his jacket on the back of the sofa.

"My house has moved to Tant, in the apartment now. Come here kalo kangen." Abhimanyu smiled while wearing his jacket. "It's not prestige either, just that I'm busy right now! So if you do not meet, do not sulk ya." he said with a soft tone.

I resisted his gaze in a masygul style while taking a breath. Whatever he is, the song is already like a busy stripping soap opera player. Important huh?

I hissed beaver. Abhimanyu turned around in the doorway. Long after we fell silent and stared unsettled. Instead of ignoring her, Abhimanyu seemed to have his own magnet. I stuck and froze at the end of the pull.

"It's early. Not the end!"
