Ethan's footsteps echoed down the corridor all the way to the CCTV room.

What Ethan has in mind right now is knowing where Clara went.

"Where are you, baby? Why didn't you tell me? Why did you just leave?" Ethan wondered in his heart. He did not understand why his wife left without sending a message at all. Even his phone is inactive.

Ethan was so worried about his wife. I don't know why he felt uneasy for no reason. Though Clara could have gone to the restaurant below or just a walk.

The officer complied and searched for the whereabouts of his boss' wife.

Finally they saw Clara join the group that was shooting out of town.
