Ethan settles down on the couch in his study. Just as they are lulled into dreamland, Clara and Arlan enter her study.

“Papa called asking me to take you and Ethan home. Ethan's parents will also come along” said Arlan who is now participating in laying down next to Ethan.

“What event is there?” ask Clara curiously.

Arlan just put the shoulder of an ignorant sign.

Currently Clara was still standing not intending at all to join her sitting on the sofa. He then chose to stand facing the window to see the scenery out there. The magnificent white buildings are lined up there vying to show their beauty. Their own office is just a rented office. Not my own office. Their parents only rented 2 floors in the building for their business. There are approximately 3 different companies in the building that has 30 floors.

Arlan got up from his seat and stood right behind Clara. He saw the view out there. 

“When I was a kid I was so happy that every Papa took me to the office. I can see tall buildings like this. But after big it turned out to be very crowded to see these buildings. I prefer to see the ocean. My messy life is a little calmer” said Arlan whose view is still straight forward.

Clara turned to look at Arlan and smiled.

“I was so, it felt so crowded to see the view of these towering buildings.” said Clara chimed.

“Have you married it, it fits” said Ethan who joined the chat with his two best friends. He was disturbed to hear the chatter of two people who he thought loved each other.

Clara just settles lazily on Ethan while Arlan only bobbles his head.

“Likeness is the same, age is also quite enough to get married. What are you waiting for?” continued Ethan.

Clara doesn't care about Ethan's words, she chooses to continue her work. So did Arlan. Feeling dicuekin makes Ethan even more upset.

“If you don't want to get married, let me marry Chila” Ethan muttered in his heart.

The three friends are now in the car for an invitation to Clara's house.

“What's wrong?” Ask Ethan who is very lazy if there is an impromptu event like this.

“I don't know either, papa called” said Arlan explained.

“My parents just didn't say anything” said Ethan astonished.

Clara kept quiet because her father told her nothing.

40 Minutes later they finally arrive at Gavin Alexander's residence.As usual Arlan will greet anyone he meets. Ethan's eyes wobbly looking for Chila's figure but did not find it.

“Oh yes, Chila will not stay here anymore” muttered Ethan in the heart.

When we got to the living room, Ethan and Gavin's parents were already there. But Arlan's parents don't even exist.

“Finally you come also” said Gavin welcomed the arrival of the three. Clara kissed the back of her Papa's hand and she did the same thing to Ethan's parents. Vania patted the empty side next to her for Clara to sit there. Clara complied and sat next to Vania.

“Because everything has come, we better just go straight to the point” said Gavin started the conversation.

“What because of this Arlan's parents did not give Arlan's blessing with Clara?” ethan said in his heart.

And it sure turns out. Gavin says that Ethan and Clara have agreed to be betrothed and will soon be engaged. Of course it made Clara so surprised, Clara thought that the matchmaking was just the pity of their parents. Ethan who can guess still feel surprised to hear the news directly from Gavin's mouth. But not with Arlan, he can still smile. It seems like he already knew about all of this. 

Ethan looked at his best friend. He knows that Arlan likes Clara very much and it is impossible for Ethan to take Clara from Arlan. Moreover, every time Ethan sees Clara his blood pressure always seems to rise suddenly.

Arlan smiles at Ethan and nods his head, which means he supports the match. Ethan throws his eyes at Arlan as if implying the question “Why”.

The family meeting was closed with no rejection from either. Neither Ethan nor Clara could resist the match. Before returning home, Ethan invites Arlan to speak together in the park.

“What because of this did you bury your desire to have Clara?” Ask Ethan to the point.

“If you really like it why not keep it? Why should I just give up? It's not like the Arlan I know” Ethan said excitedly.

Arlan only smiled faintly as his eyes glared far away.

“This is destiny. Promise to always look after Clara for me” Arlan said without looking at Ethan.

“You why the hell?” ethan's protest doesn't take.

“I'll talk to Om Gavin” said Ethan who left Arlan just like that. She can't get engaged to Clara, other than because Arlan loves Clara so much, it feels like Ethan is more interested in Chila than Clara. He was so fluttering when he was close to Chila.

Ethan enters Gavin's room and immediately expresses his wish.

"Sorry Om, I can't get engaged to Clara. I love Chila Om" said Ethan, who refused to marry Clara.

Gavin just let out a heavy sigh.

"Marry Clara, once you have a child you can get close to Chila too" said Gavin, who did not accept Ethan's refusal.

Without them noticing the two, Clara heard the conversation.

Clara froze in her place for a while. Unknowingly tears had dripped down her cheeks.

It wasn't Ethan's refusal that made Clara sad, but her papa's words.

Gavin seemed to be indifferent to his feelings.

How could Papa have gotten that much? Why did those sad words come out of Papa's mouth? Is it true that I'm not Papa's son? Which parent would let their child be combined? Papa said that Ethan can get close to Chila when I have kids? Don't you think about how I and my son will feel?.

Clara had no idea what was going through her father's mind.

It seems true that all of these treasures belong to my biological Papa. Papa had no right to this treasure until I was betrothed to Ethan, who in fact was the son of Papa's best friend. Well, pa, I'll follow papa's game.
