Clara of course laughed because she did not expect her husband to record her conversation with Arlan.

"What do you think I'm gonna do until you record that?" clara asked still with a small laugh.

"I'm just making sure" Ethan said, not caring about his wife's taunts. He remained focused on listening to what his wife and Arlan were talking about.
