Chapter 8 Love without Relationships

“Lo also likes this song? I like it too, it's so good to hear. In our language, easy listening. Really not?”, Radit did not stop talking when they arrived at the computer and accessories store.

After the meeting, Radit had already approached Kirana. He asked what Kirana's plans were today. Kirana who was initially hesitant then chose to tell the truth.

Coincidentally, today Kirana's cousin is coming from out of town. Since she lives in the village, Kirana wants to give her a gift of a pair of headphones that she has long craved.

Kirana has not had time to adjust the volume so Radit can hear the sound coming out of the headphones.

“I didn't know, Ran. You like these typical songs too?”, said Radit still stunned when he saw again the Kirana playlist from the side.

Kirana just smiled.

“You like this band?”, then Radit mentioned the name of one of the famous English bands that he liked.

“Wah. Very new, right?”, Kirana at least can not be invited to chat about this topic.

Wh why? He immediately forgot himself. He does not even remember now that the one in front of him is Radit, the Chairman of BEM Campus who already has a girlfriend.

“Try this song. Crazy...this hits really.”, said Radit mention one more title that he likes the most.

“Bener – real. Our taste is the same huh?”, Kirana said.

A second later he realized that it seemed like he had already thrown a dangerous statement. The smile that Kirana just gave off instantly turned slowly into an awkward expression as she realized what she had said.

“Soulmate times yes.”, Kirana's facial expression that turned awkward, then did not change Radit to be awkward.

He even threw a more dangerous statement back.

‘What try means say ‘soulmate’. She already has a boyfriend. Why say soulmate?’, Kirana comments inwardly.

‘Don't – don't this guy want to pedekate ama me again, he thought. Or don't – don't he's like this ama others, even it's not me.’, Kirana was so engrossed in the assumptions she made herself that she did not realize a guy was coming from the opposite direction to her.

The collision was inevitable, Kirana who was holding two headphones and her cellphone into a confusion to let one of them fall and fortunately did not break.

Kirana just didn't want to accept this gift. Now the man offers another gift.

“Okay, no need. I can take a taxi. Part of my house is also not far – very far from here.”, After Radit paid for Kirana's groceries at the store, now his campus friend offers a ride home.
