13. Agreement Again

Nathan is back from his business trip today. He entered the yard with confidence while carrying a bag of drinks that he bought at the minimarket. Her smile expanded, hoping that her mother and Kirana would welcome her as she opened the door later.

Nathan wished it were like that. But unfortunately what happened was not so because no one greeted him downstairs. Having found no one, Nathan decides to go up. Sure enough, there he saw all the inhabitants of the house gathered except Oddie. Kirana was crying, while Mama Maureen stood in front of Lastri, Maman and the two guards who were gathered on the floor.

"What's up. Why is everyone gathered here?" ask Nathan. The man immediately put his things on the table. Then he approached Kirana who immediately hugged him.

"Honey, a set of my jewelry is gone," Kirana said with tears in her eyes.

Nathan glanced at the four aides. Now Nathan knows why they knelt there. Nathan frowned for a moment. During this time his house can be said to be safe because it never loses items or there are thieves who enter. But why did Kirana suddenly lose her jewelry? Although not too close to the four aides, but Nathan quite believes they are not a thief.

"Ki, remember first. Maybe you forgot to put it," comfort Nathan.

"Nathan, I sure put it in a normal place. I still saw him last night. But I can't find her today despite searching all over the place" Kirana said.

Nathan looked around. Their room was very messy. Evidence that Kirana's been looking for her jewelry all over the place. When Nathan was caught off guard, Kirana immediately gave a code to Mama Maureen who was still silent. Hopefully the woman will speak up soon to do the next plan.

"Nathan, there must be a thief in this house. Since no one had confessed, why not search their room. Surely Kirana's jewelry was in one of their rooms" Mama Maureen said.

Without waiting for long they finally searched the room or the place they suspected was used to hide Kirana's jewelry. But none of them could find even though they had ransacked the entire place.

"You've seen, haven't you? There are no thieves in this house. Now apologize to them" Nathan said.

"No! I'm sure there must be a thief in this house" Kirana refused.

"Ki?" said Nathan.

"Nathan, that jewelry is your gift. I don't calm down if I don't find him back. Isn't there still one place we haven't checked out yet?" ask Nathan.

"really. We haven't searched the room of that corrupt little girl. He must have been the thief" Mama Maureen said.

The middle-aged woman immediately walked into Oddie's room. With Kirana rummaging through everything, even destroying one favorite object Oddie gave his father when Oddie was a child.

Lastri, Maman and the two guards who had been silent had started to look at each other. I don't know why they're saying something bad is going to happen. Oddie can't steal, but anything can happen. Since Kirana and Maureen had already made their move, there must have been a trap they had set up to repel Oddie.

"Meet!" kirana said after dismantling the bottom of the closet and looking at her jewelry box.

Just then, when Kirana finds her jewelry Oddie returns home. The girl was already standing behind the four maids standing in front of the door. Explain what they are doing in their room. Then, what did I meet?

"What are you guys doing?" ask Oddie when he sees his room is a mess.

Everyone looked back. Seeing Oddie with a different gaze everyone. The four maidservants looked at Oddie with pity. Maureen and Kirana looked at him with hateful gazes and Nathan looked at him with an unusual gaze.

"Basic thief!" shout Kirana.

Kirana rushed over to Oddie. Directly slapped Oddie who knew nothing.

Kirana's hand had even been raised again. Ready to give her a slap. But Nathan stopped him. "Stop, Ki!"

"Nathan?" kirana protests.

"Let me take care of it" Nathan said.

Actually, Nathan is really tired. He just wanted to rest on his return from outside the city. But it was unexpected that there was such a thing that greeted him at home. The man finally came out of Oddie's room. Choose to take Oddie into his room for questioning there.

Nathan accuses Oddie of being a thief only for finding Kirana's jewelry in Oddie's room. Judging Oddie without investigating further whether Oddie was the thief. Perhaps, he trusted and loved Kirana too much until in Nathan Kirana's eyes was always right and Oddie was always wrong.

Nathan took pity a while ago. But seeing Oddie's behavior that he considered increasingly late made Nathan run out of patience.

"I didn't steal" Oddie replied.

"Then why is Kirana's jewelry in your room?" ask Nathan.

"I don't know. I worked all day and you guys found that thing in my room" Nathan replied.

"Do you think the box has legs and moves on its own?" ask Nathan again.

"That's not what I mean, Dean!" answer Oddie.

"Then?" nathan asked with anger ready to explode at any moment.

"What if someone else moves it while I'm not around?" answer Oddie.

Hearing Oddie's reply made Nathan bang the table violently. Oddie even immediately retreated back a few steps due to the too loud buzz.

"Did you just accuse Kirana of deliberately putting the jewelry in your room? What kind of shit is that, Die?" ask Nathan.

Oddie no longer answered Nathan's questions. He knew something like this was always happening. There was no point in defending himself because Nathan would never believe him forever.

"Die, I know you're limping. I know your eye sight is declining. But I also know you're not mute and deaf. So answer my question" urged Nathan.

Oddie bit his lip when he heard Nathan's swearing. Was he really so worthless that Nathan could do all this?

"Take me, Die!" nathan snapped again by pounding the table harder.

After calming down for a moment, Oddie finally raised his face to look at Nathan.

"What do you want me to answer?" ask Oddie. She has to how. He's been honest but Nathan doesn't believe it. Does Oddie have to admit to a mistake he didn't commit and end up being tortured again?

"You are really!" aspir Nathan.

Nathan glanced at the bag of drinks he had bought at the minimarket earlier. Actually the drink was a drink that he deliberately bought to replace Oddie's drink that he slammed the other day. But since Oddie is always looking for trouble, Nathan decides to throw him in the trash.

"Come with me now!" said Nathan.

Nathan pulls Oddie down rudely. Take him to his room and pack his little things. Oddie thinks he's gonna be thrown out on the street. Oddie thought this was the beginning of his freedom. But Oddie was wrong. Because Nathan took her to an old house and left her there alone.

"You are not fit to live with humans. So just stay here and reflect on your mistakes!" said Nathan.

"Dean?" call Oddie when Nathan's leaving.

Nathan looked over. Before warning Oddie not to mess or run away because Nathan has arranged people to watch him at all times. Work is work only. But Oddie has to keep coming back to this house no matter what.
