66. The Orphanage

Danu has been filing for divorce in court since before she disclosed the facts and evidence about his wife's affair with his college friend. And yesterday he sent a file that Jasmin had to tag.

The babysitter was surprised, and so was Danu. He was stunned, it seemed like he had slapped himself for never donating anything to his mother's orphanage. Which has now been handed over to Laras. The nurse approached and asked Danu.

"What's up, sir?" ask the nanny.

"Mother Rima is there?" ask Danu doubtfully.

"It's in the back, I'll call you first. You go to the office first." said the nanny.

"Thank you" Danu said.

Danu follows the caretaker to go to the small-looking office. Not like his office there. It feels like Danu was again disturbed when the office space was small and there were only tables and cabinets that had been damaged parts of the wood. He looked down, for some reason his heart was so bitter.

"Sir Danu." greet someone at the door.

Danu turned her head, she saw Rima's mother who already looked old. His life was the same when he came to the orphanage. Danu approached and greeted Rima's mother.

"Good day Miss Rima." said Danu.

"People of Danu" replied Rima's mother.

Despite knowing first Danu is a boy who was still a teenager when brought to the orphanage, but Rima's mother respects the child of the orphanage owner.

The two of them sat facing each other, Danu was a bit awkward and embarrassed if he just wanted to ask about the whereabouts of Laras. And finally he also wanted to donate money and office supplies.

"Bu Rima, I'm sorry I just came here. I want to donate money at this orphanage and .." Danu said.

"Why sir?" ask Rima's mother.

"Do you have a bank account?" ask Danu.

"Sir Danu's looking for Laras?" asked Rima's mother, somewhat surprised by Danu.

"Yes mom. I looked for him into his house but there was none." replied Danu.

Rima's mother was silent, she herself had not come to Laras' place since Laras moved from Danu's former home. Just heard the story from Dian that Laras now no longer lives in Danu's house. Even she knows Laras is pregnant with Danu's child.

"Bu Rima knows Baras right? Do you know where Laras is?" ask Danu.

"But, I've never been there. Mothers are often sickly, so if it goes away the mother's pain will recur" said Rima's mother.

"It's okay mom doesn't need to deliver, let me come to Rash Laras" said Danu glad because it looks like Rima's mom knows where Laras lives.

"Mom doesn't know what happened to Mr. Danu and Laras. But I ask, no longer Baras hurt. That's it." said Rima's mother.

"No ma'am, I will love Laras and my son" Danu said excitedly.

Rima's mother also wrote down an address that Dian had given her. Then he handed it to Danu. Danu was happy and saw a paper pull bearing the address of the new Laras house. He smiled and looked at Rima's mother.

"Thank you ma'am, I'll be there. I promise to love Laras and my son ma'am" Danu said.

After saying goodbye, Danu finally left. He seemed happy to get the new home address. Somehow Laras no longer occupies his BTN house, but he does not care. Danu is determined to find Laras soon.

"Why didn't I come to the orphanage" he said.

The car drove at a moderate speed, it felt Danu was very happy and his mind floated on his wife. Imagine him being greeted with a big smile on the doorstep.
