My Husband's Love Is Not For Me

My Husband's Love Is Not For Me
26. Moving House

"More of your divorce tomorrow!" grandfather Moeis orders after conveying Mama Rindi's request to Nathan.

"Can't, Grandpa!" replied Nathan.

"Nathan?" said Grandpa Moeis with a high tone. Thought Nathan was still so stubborn as before.

"Why can't it?" ask Papa Erlangga.

"Because Oddie's pregnant with my son, Pa! How can I divorce her?" replied Nathan. Of course being pregnant was Nathan's excuse. Because even if Oddie is pregnant or not, Nathan still will not divorce Oddie.

Finally something that Nathan had forgotten was revealed as well. Making the three people shocked, including Mama Rindi who was currently standing behind the door and hearing everything.

"Whatdidyou say? Oddie's pregnant?" ask Grandpa Moeis and Papa Erlangga together.

"You serious, Nathan?" ask Mama Maureen.

Mama Maureen is the most shocked here. After all, he saw Nathan and Kirana sleeping on the same bed. But Kirana is pregnant with another boy. While Oddie had never seen Nathan, how did he get pregnant?

"Ah, could it be that night?" mama Maureen's mind when she remembers Nathan missing a gift and not coming home all night.

"Oddie's 7 weeks pregnant right now" Nathan replied.

Nathan's answer made everyone quiet. Including Mama Rindi who immediately canceled her intention to come out.

"My son's pregnant?" mama Rindi asked with teary eyes.

Mama Rindi went straight back to her bed. Forgetting his initial intention to speak directly to Nathan. His chest was beating very fast and his mind was busy thinking about how the fate of Oddie and his granddaughter would be. Previously Mama Rindi was very angry with Nathan. Nathan wants Oddie to divorce her immediately. But after knowing Oddie was pregnant, somehow his anger subsided a little.

However, Mama Rindi should not be selfish, she does not want her granddaughter to be born and raised without a father. Her husband's dead, Oddie's been living without a father. Does Mama Rindi also have to let her granddaughter grow up without the affection of a father?

What should Mama Rindi do now. One side he was very disappointed with Nathan's behavior. But on the other hand he wants his granddaughter to be born in the middle of a complete father and mother.

"After papa died, papa just found not guilty?" inner Oddie.

Oddie did not blink when he saw the television news that raised the topic of his father's corruption case. Oddie who was initially fine became unable to control his emotions. His eyes are very hot. His heart was very sick and his heartbeat was beating uncharacteristically.

"Papa" said Oddie.

Between anger, disappointment, heartache, everything has been mixed into one. Oddie's cries finally broke, roaring with his papa repeated. The contact made the nun who happened to enter to give the medicine into confusion. Less than fifteen minutes ago Oddie was still fine. And now he's become like this.

"Miss Oddie, what's wrong? Why crying?" ask sister.

But no answer came out of Oddie's mouth other than the word papa he called over and over again. The nurse immediately put down the medicine and approached Oddie. Afraid that something might happen to the fetus in her stomach.

"Miss, relax!" sister said again.

But Oddie is already drowning in an overflow of emotions ready to explode. Now Oddie was not only crying but he was also starting to scream.

"I hate you all!" shout Oddie. Oddie began to rampage, Oddie who was initially crying now dares to throw the medicine that the sisters prepared for him so as to make the medicine fall and break on the floor.

Practically it makes the nurse panic and scream for help. Press the button to call the doctor. Lucky they came soon. Some male nurses even held Oddie so that Oddie would not move recklessly. While Oddie, he who is held here and there can only cry while calling his papa repeatedly.

"Give me my papa! Why are you bad? Return papa! I miss papa!" oddie said on his sobs.

"What's going on. Why is this so?" ask the doctor upon arrival in the room and look at the messy room.

"When I entered Miss Oddie it was like this, Doctor!" answer sister.

After a brief explanation, the doctor immediately took action. Checking Oddie and making sure the content is safe before giving him an injection of some kind of sedative to keep Oddie calm again.

"Doctor, I want to meet my mama" Oddie said before he fell to the ground under the influence of drugs.

"Suster, please change his clothes with special clothes" the doctor ordered.

"Well, Doc!" answer sister.

The doctor's coming out. Then call Nathan and tell him what happened. "Mr Nathan. Your wife just went berserk. He kept calling his father and asking to see his mother. Can tell them to come soon. Looks like your wife misses her parents a lot" Doctor said.

"Doctor, my father-in-law is dead. Now I'm going there to take my mother-in-law" Nathan replied from across the street.

"All right, Mr. Nathan!"

An hour later Mama Rindi and Nathan's family arrived at the hospital. Although everyone wanted to see Oddie, but they held back and gave Mama Rindi the priority to enter first. It's been a long time since he's met Oddie, there must be a lot he wants to say to his daughter, right?

Mama Rindi covered her mouth with her hands tightly. Hoping that the lamentation of his cry was not heard by Oddie who again had to fall asleep.

"You must have suffered so much all along, dear! Forgive mom and dad. It's all our fault that can't take good care of you" said Mama Rindi.

Mama Rindi touched Oddie's face, took hold of his hand and saw some of the scars that adorned his smooth skin. It made Mama Rindi could no longer hold back her cries so Oddie woke up.

"Mama?" call Oddie in a barely audible voice.

"Yes, baby! It's mama. Is your mom too noisy to disturb your sleep?" ask Mama Rindi.

"Ma, Oddie's kangen mom!" answer Oddie.

With the help of his mother, Oddie finally forced himself to rise. Then immediately hugged his mother and cried so much in the arms of the woman.

"Ma, how's my papa, Ma?" ask Oddie, tears are coming.

"Honey, inshaallah papa is calm there. So don't cry papa like this, son?" answer Mama Rindi.

Although she is not okay, Mama Rindi must look strong because Oddie is in need of her at this time. He must not look sad because it will make Oddie even sadder. Mama Rindi didn't want that to happen. Especially when you know the content of Oddie is not healthy.

"Ma, Oddie misses papa," Oddie said again.

"Honey, we can go to papa's grave later. But the condition is that you must be healthy first. Papa would be sad to see you sick" said Mama Rindi trying to comfort Oddie.

The woman did not tire of kissing and stroking Oddie's hair. It was so close that there would be no more tomorrow.
