“Sorry, Aunt.” Not even five minutes glared at by his mother Delano, Adelia was already feeling angry. “Is there anything strange about my appearance?”
They were all sitting inside a ready-to-eat chicken restaurant. At the table there are fries, nuggets and drinks. But no one has touched it all yet.
“Nothing strange, but too young.” The middle-aged woman answered quickly. “What age is it, Dek?”
“Nineteen,” replied Adelia without needing to think.
“Nineteen and thirty-three.” The middle-aged woman nodded. “Fourteen years it's too far.”
“Ma.” Delano immediately rebuked his mother. “It is not polite to say so, before getting acquainted.”
Hearing that, Adelia quickly clapped her hands. His intention was of course to get acquainted, but the woman sitting in front of him was just staring at that helping hand.
Only after reprimanding her son did the middle-aged woman with a simple appearance join in to open her hands. That also looks reluctant.
“Since when was his courtship?”
“New, Aunt. Maybe month. Really not, Dad?” Adelia looked at the man next to her.
“Iya. Less than a month.” Delano nodded, following the play of the young woman next to him, though reality was not like that.
The two men met less than a month ago. Obviously what Adelia said was a lie, but Delano agreed.
“What do you call my son?”
“Dad,” replied Adelia, again without thinking. “Dad from Daddy.”
Mama Delano glanced at her son with her eyebrows raised. All his life, he had never heard of his son getting that call of marijuana.
“Tante Monic not to worry.” Suddenly Adelia spoke. “If I am young, but I do not want to cheat kok.”
The middle-aged woman named Monic frowned hearing what Adelia had said just now. It's a good thing, but it feels weird to hear that.
“Can cook no?” Monic finally asked something else.
“Can't, Tan. But now there are many promos to buy online,” replied Adelia without hesitation.
“Then, at least you can iron right?” Monic asked back.
“There is laundry that can do it all.”
“Ma.” Can't stand the question and answer, Delano again reprimanded. “Please stop.”
“Adelia's my boyfriend, Ma. Not a housekeeper,” continued the man with short hair trying as soft as possible.
“But if you are married he should at least know something,” hardik Monic can not understand with two people in front of him.
“If everything is bought or using services, want to out how much money?” The middle fifty continued.
“Hah? Married?” Adelia was surprised to hear that.
For whatever sake, up to this moment Adelia had never thought of her name getting married. He had certainly seen and dreamed of what kind of marriage he wanted, but it was just a dream. Adeli certainly has no serious intention.
“But I'm new nineteen.” That was all Adelia could say was her shock.
“Yes, but Delano is already thirty-three. She is very old to get married.”
“I'm not that old, Ma.” Of course the man being talked about will argue quickly.
Hearing his son argue, Monic glared. He is very fond of the son only wayang, even willing to play. But if Delano's intention to mess around, he won't accept.
“Tante knows that you are young.” Now Monic looked seriously at the young woman in front of him.
“Delano is old enough and he needs a wife who can help him, not the other way around. Sorry if I had to make your heart hurt. But please understand.”
“I understand that Aunt is worried, but why talk to me?” The young woman did not hesitate to reveal the contents of her head.
“You're Delano's girlfriend.” Monic was confused to hear that question.
“Iya. I was Delano's girlfriend, but like I said, I was young. No thoughts of getting married,” reply Adelia also confused. “We are committed to dating, not to getting engaged, let alone getting married.”
Delano almost growled at that. If it's like this, in the end he'll get the sap. Of course the man will be scolded and will probably start getting betrothed again.
“What because Delano looks poor?” Suddenly Monic asked in a serious tone.
“Sorry?” Adelia and Delano said it at the same time.
“You are rich and Delano looks too poor in your eyes. That's what makes you not want to marry my son, right?” monic asked seemed to dislike the thing he had just mentioned.
“Of course not because of it.” Adelia quickly shook her head. “If I were like that, I wouldn't date Daddy Delano.”
“But you could have used it somehow for what, right?”
That question made Adelia open her mouth. If you could, maybe the woman's jaw had fallen to the table. How could Monic have guessed so precisely?
“Adelia is not like that.” Unexpectedly, Delano defended. “She's a good woman.”
Now, it was Monic's turn to open his mouth wide. Really, he did not understand why his son could even defend Adelia.
“Mam doesn't know what happened, but you seem to have become bucin.”
“I'm normal,” protest Delano quickly.
“In the eyes, Mama.” Monic tidied up his seat, even slightly leaning his body forward. “You look so cute because your new boyfriend looks beautiful.”
“Thank you for the compliment.” Adelia reflexively retorted, after which regretted when she saw Monic's expression.
Honestly, Monic was getting upset with the woman in front of him. Besides being too young, Adelia is also a bit narcissistic. Fortunately, her son was polite and pretty.
“Deno, Mama wants to talk to you.” In the end, the middle-aged woman asked for privacy.
“Then, I will move there.” Inevitably, Adelia had to move.
“Sorry yes.” Feeling bad, Delano apologized.
Adelia could only smile, before moving her seat. Delano was so kind and made Adelia a little bit comfortable with him. Honey, that woman has no intention of getting married.
“You're really dating a spoiled girl like that?” monic asked his son.
“He became spoiled because of the wrong parenting,” Delano replied with reason that was quite reasonable. “Again, I can't separate from him. At least for now.”
Monic's forehead wrinkled hearing that. The words of the son are a bit ambiguous, but he knows that there is something that makes Delano want to date Adelia.
“One month.” In the end, Monic returned to speaking after thinking for quite a while.
“Mama will let you date her for one month,” continued the middle-aged woman.
“At most two months and after that, you have to follow what Mama said.” Monic added, when he saw his son would protest.
“But, Ma ...”
“Mama has come to follow your absurd charade, Deno. Mama doesn't want more of this anymore, whatever the reason.” Monic cut the sentence of the son.
