“What does it mean I can't log in?” Delano asked politely, at the security guard who was on duty.
“We have been given instructions, if you are forbidden to enter.” The security guard, who said that, showed me the photo on his phone.
Delano grimaced to see his picture and Adelia was there. He didn't know when and where it was taken, but the picture was very clear.
“I won't do anything. Just want ...”
“Finally you came too.” Not yet Delano finished his sentence, someone interrupted.
A woman with full makeup, came to Delano. The woman even pulled Delano's arm quite roughly.
“Why is it late?” ask the woman and of course make Delano confused. The man did not recognize the woman in front of him. “Quick in there, otherwise your salary is cut.”
“This is your employee?” The security guard asked with a frown.
“Yes. Any problem with that?” ask the girl with a brush.
“No, I think he's the one who's not allowed in it.” Of course the security guard will defend himself.
“They are similar, but different people. Now we have to go because my client is waiting.” The woman quickly pulled Delano into the hotel lobby and forced him to walk quickly.
Despite the confusion, Delano walked in. He did need to get inside the building and did not want to waste the opportunity.
“Thank you for the help.” Delano said that, after they were not seen by the sight of the security guard earlier.
“I sent you a message earlier.”
“Ah, whose make-up artist is Adelia.” Delano clapped both hands. “I thought who was.”
“Go. She's waiting for you.” Without asking much questions, the MUA still threw him out.
“Thank you.” Delano said that again, when he had already got the location.
Delano who looked so calm, walked down the corridor of the hotel without hurry. He himself, actually still felt quite doubtful about what he was doing now.
“You're just saving someone from disaster, Delano.” The man muttered to himself to make himself sure, before opening the closed door.
After saying that, Delano opened the door of the room rented for the event. Not a big room because the invited ones are also few.
Delano could see Adelia up ahead there, in a beautiful simple white dress. Somehow, it made her feel a little claustrophobic.
“Adelia.” Call Delano without him noticing, only his voice was too small. Therefore Delano repeated once again.
“ADELIA.”
“Daddy.” The one with the name immediately answered happily.
“Where are you going?” Aris immediately held the arm of her bride who was about to leave.
“Least.” Of course Adelia tried to rebel, even if it was almost impossible. His strength was almost nonexistent, moreover he had not eaten yet.
“Someone, get rid of him from here.” Aditya who finally realized what was happening, immediately acted.
“Papa can't expel him.” Unknowingly, Adelia called her father politely. He had intended to rebel.
“Sorry to interrupt, but .. can I talk to Adelia for a minute?” tanya Delano tried to be polite and calm.
“You think we're that stupid?” Aris who asked in a calm tone.
“You can come if you feel in disbelief,” Delano replied confidently.
“This is what the hell?” The woman who is the mother of Aris, finally made a sound after a long silence.
“How many problems?” added the middle-aged woman with an annoyed look. “If it is like this, it is better to cancel it.”
“Ma.” Of course Aris would immediately reprimand his mother. “Do not like that.”
“How finished. This woman looked abnormal and there were men who came after her as well. This obviously doesn't make sense.” The mother of Aris spoke again.
“Ma, I've explained before.” Aris unknowingly took off the hand of the woman he was supposed to marry. “Adelia is different and there are still people chasing her.”
“Ya and I prefer the one who chases me,” muttered the woman in that wedding dress, taking the opportunity to escape.
“Wait, Adelia.” Aris reached out, but it was too late.
Adelia had already thrown a bouquet of flowers at her father, then picked up the dress and ran over. Of course he approached Delano and immediately pulled the man away. Delano, surprised, could only come along.
“Daddy, let's run tight.” Adelia shouted that phrase.
“But where are we going?” Delano replied also in a shout.
“Just run first, then just think about it.” Adelia pulled the man who had come to pick her up to the emergency stairs. Waiting for the elevator too long, after all they were not that tall.
“Oh, this is very disturbing.” Just down some stairs, Adelia immediately complained.
“What's up?” delano asked somewhat worriedly.
“This shoe interrupts.” Adelia said that, taking off the high heels she was wearing and throwing them away.
“You want to throw it away?” tanya Delano felt somewhat regretful about it. The shoes look a bit expensive.
“It's okay, anyway it's not mine.” Adelia pulled back the hand of the man who came to pick her up, having lifted her skirt up high.
“You lifted your skirt too high.” Delano still had time to say that, while they were running down the stairs.
“Jeez, Daddy! Can you not ask much?” The runaway bride began to look upset at her boyfriend. “Just run because we're almost there.”
Just a few steps later, they found the door leading to the back of the hotel. But until there, Adelia suddenly became confused. Now he doesn't know where to go.
“We can't go that way.” Delano pulled his pretended girlfriend who already wanted to turn left. “It's heading to the front of the hotel and they're definitely looking there. We have to go right.”
“Oh, where does Daddy know?” Despite asking, Adelia followed.
“I ... have worked here. Just a minute.” That was all Delano said with a hint of panicked expression on his face. Fortunately Adelia did not notice that.
“We seem to have to quickly find a vehicle right?” adelia asked looking around. “People are starting to notice me.”
“Of course you will be noticed with such an appearance. I'll try calling a cab online.”
“If you wait for an online taxi, you might get caught. We better take the angkot only.” Adelia pointed to the bus that had just driven not far from them. Honestly, it gave Delano the creeps.
“You want to ride the bus using a dress?” delano asked with glaring eyes. Now he's just starting to feel embarrassed because there are some people who take videos, especially if on the bus.
“Of course. It was faster because I could already hear the screaming sound of my papa.”
“ADELIA.” Coinciding with the completion of Adelia's sentence, another shouting voice rang out loud.
