Not Sugar Baby (Mommy)

Not Sugar Baby (Mommy)
The More Wrongly Thought

“You just misunderstood.” Delano said it very calmly. “I did meet with Bella, but not as you imagined.”

“She asked me to work together to drain your inheritance.” Suddenly, Bella appears behind Delano.

Everyone clearly turned their heads and looked at the pregnant woman with questionable gazes. Even Aris who was still there did the same.

“Can not slander?” Delano said that very calmly. “So you took me like that.”

“There is indeed evidence that I said such a thing?” Bella asked very calmly. “No proof of anything.”

“Then, I can say the same right?” delano asked completely unaffected by the quite tense atmosphere. “There's no evidence of what you're accusing of.”

“Can you two shut up?” Suddenly Adelia rebuked.

“Adelia, please don't listen to him.” Instead of silence, Bella tried to persuade her former friend. “He's not a good man.”

“I'll ask you to shut up. Are you deaf?” adelia asked, looking angry.

“Hey, maybe we can move places first. People started to see.” Aris now raised her voice because the people were already looking at them.

Without answering, Adelia quickly turned around and walked away. Not to go looking for a more comfortable speaking place, but to go home. He was upset and did not want to be disturbed. Too bad, not everyone understands that.

“If you want to go home, I can drop off.” Aris pulled the small arm of the woman she had been following since.

“I don't want to be disturbed.” Adelia will of course brush off the lecturer's hand.

“But you still need a ride right? Or did you bring your own car today?” Aris still insisted.

“Sorry, Mr. Lecturer.” Delano raised his voice to speak as there was a distance between them. “Adelia says she wants to be alone, so leave her alone.”

“Do not interfere.” Aris who does not accept reprimanded, rebuked. It certainly makes people more interested, especially because they are still in the mall area.

“You shouldn't interfere, Mr. Lecturer.” Delano who had been holding back the anger from earlier, now began to release his emotions. “You are an outsider here.”

“I was betrothed to Adelia.” Aris is challenging.

“And already rejected,” reply Delano firmly. “Then I'm her fiance, so don't think you can say I'm an outsider.”

Aris growled furiously at hearing that. He seems to have wanted to hit, but still knows himself that this is in a public place. The lecturer did not want to embarrass himself or his work and institutions.

“I won't let you go home by yourself.” Aris was ultimately unwilling to give up.

“Daddy just take me home.” Knowing her obsessive lecturer won't give up, Adelia takes the option that makes her most comfortable. Together with Delano it makes the most sense in his opinion.

Of course, Delano readily agreed. She did not say much, but directly asked Adelia to follow him with just a nod of her head. It was enough to make the tiny woman follow to the motorcycle parking lot.

“Goodnight.” That's all Delano said, when the fiancee got off the bike.

“Hm. Good night.” Just for the sake of manners, Adelia replied and went straight in.

“You were delivered with Delano?” Oma who was welcoming in the living room, asked her granddaughter.

“Ya, Oma.” That's all Adelia answered. “Adelia get into room first yes.”

“Why?” Oma who was quick to respond, immediately knew something was wrong with her grandson. “A fight with your fiancee? Or maybe you're fighting with someone else?”

Adelia did not answer. He seemed to think first, should he ask the oma or not.

Adelia's mind said she didn't want to share, but her heart said otherwise. In the end, the petite woman preferred to follow her heart. Is not the word of the heart usually true?

“I have a problem with many people.” Adelia said that after sitting next to the oma. “I saw Daddy Delano meet Bella, along with Aris who kept chasing me so obsessively.”

“Good dong. That means you have a lot of fans.” Instead of taking it seriously, Oma Tessa joked.

“Oma. I'm serious again.” Adelia rolled her eyes in a fit of anxiety. He was upset, but could not be angry either.

“Then, which one do you want? Aris or Delano?” Oma Tessa finally tried to get serious. The oma had already heard about Aris and her kidnapping case, so she did not need to ask more.

“If to be a boyfriend or husband, of course Daddy Delano. But the thing is, he's suspicious today. She went to meet up with Bella, without telling me.” This time, Adelia said it with great fanfare.

“Then? What did Delano say about it?”

“Of course he says nothing.” Adelia folded her hands when she said that. “But who knows right?”

“The question now is, do you believe in Delano or not?” Oma Tessa asked again.

“That I don't know either.” Adelia shook her head with a limp face. “I can't read people's minds.”

“But you can feel it with your heart.” Oma Tessa unhesitatingly pointed to the part she said. “Oma believe that you can do it.”

“But what if I'm wrong?” Adelia replied with a question. “What if I misjudge a man, as happened to mama first.”

“At least you chose yourself. It's definitely better than if you were forced to live it.” Unexpectedly, oma Tessa said that.

“Which one did you choose? Forced with Aris or choose with Delano?” the old woman continued with a faint smile.

“Of course I would prefer to choose. Although it may not be the best, but it's my own choice.” Adelia said that firmly. “Of course I will bear the bad consequences that may happen as well.”

“Then, you already know what you should do.” That's all Oma Tessa said and Adelia understood.

After saying thank you, Adelia rushed into her room. He was about to contact Delano, when he saw a message coming in. A message from Bella who has been there and just seen.

[Sir: I only want the best for you because I care.]

 [Submitting: Sending pictures.]

[Sir: He is not a good man.]

“This is Daddy's ex,” muttered Adelia alone, while looking at the photos sent.
