“DO YOU TWO NOT KNOW SHAME?”
The sound of the scream made Delano and Adelia jump. The two of them were very surprised to hear a shout that they had not expected to be that loud, let alone the one shouting was Oma Tessa.
“What people say when they find out my grandson is wearing a wedding dress standing by the roadside, like a beggar.” Oma Tessa had already lowered her tone of voice, but she still looked extremely angry.
“I don't look like a beggar,” argued Adelia out loud at first, but shrank later. “There are women with full makeup and wedding dresses look like beggars.”
“For me it looks like that.” Oma Tessa glared and made her downcast granddaughter who was sitting on the sofa, bowed deeply. Of course Adelia had changed clothes, even if only potluck because they returned to Oma's house.
“But wasn't Oma unhappy that Adelia had to marry forcibly?” Delano suddenly defended himself, but also got a sharp shot and made him come down.
There was the sound of breathing from Oma Tessa who was standing in front of the two young people who were sitting. Since then, he had indeed walked back and forth to suppress his anger. It was necessary for his blood pressure not to suddenly soar.
“I do not like it if my grandson is forced to marry, until kidnapped like this.” Oma Tessa who began to calm down, finally chose to sit on a single sofa. “But if you want to run, at least make preparations first. At least have to bring a car so as not to be too embarrassing.”
“Eh? So Oma is not angry?” adelia asked somewhat surprised at the oma's statement just now.
“Of course angry,” hardik Oma Tessa who made the grandson back jumped in shock. “But of course not mad at you two. You guys are embarrassing, but I'm not that angry.”
“Thank God then.” Delano was immediately relieved to hear it. “But, Oma why can there be d in the hotel area earlier?”
Oma Tessa, who was traveling, did find her granddaughter in a wedding dress on the side of the road. As he also sees his son-in-law chasing, Oma Tessa decides to help Adelia and Delano. Although actually two people had already entered the car, without being asked.
“Then what do you want? It's been a blur like this, must have planned something, right?” oma Tessa asked with a fixed look at Delano.
“Actually, we have not planned anything.” Delano grimaced as he said that.
“Oh. It's kind of surprising, since you've been asking me since a few days ago.” Now the gaze of oma Tessa sharpens. He didn't seem to like what he just heard.
“Is there something I don't know?” Adelia who was confused, just asked. He was also curious since it seemed like this was about him.
“Now Oma wants to ask you.” Now the old woman turned to her grandson. “Did Delano ever ask you about marriage?”
Adelia frowned at the question. She was confused as to what this all had to do with marriage and Delano, but in the end the petite woman chose to nod her head. After all, they had already talked about this.
“Her mother Delano asked me that question, even though she seemed to dislike me,” Adelia answered very honestly.
“Don't like because what?” Oma Tessa turns again to the young man next to the granddaughter.
“Not a serious thing.” It wasn't Delano who answered, it was Adelia. “It looks like her mother Delano thinks I'm too young and still can't be a good housewife.”
“Good housewife?!” Oma Tessa seems to dislike hearing that.
“I mean my mama is not like that.” Knowing that Oma Tessa may have misunderstood, Delano immediately set the record straight.
“Let me be aged.” Delano began to explain. “Mama wants to have a grandchild soon, while Adelia is still too young for that.”
“Oh, that's apparently.” Hearing such an explanation, Oma Tessa could still understand. “Caused anyway.”
“You haven't told him?” Oma Tessa returns to Delano. “Why Adelia doesn't know.”
“I plan to tell you after coming home from the interview yesterday, but Adelia has already gone missing. But previously I have given you a hint kok.”
“Oh, about us getting married?” tanya Adelia finally remembered what her paid boyfriend had said. “That means so? We're getting married?”
“Of course so.” Oma Tessa answered. “Moreover you've run away like this, so you have to marry someone else.”
“Alright then.” Adelia nodded in doubt. Somehow, the little girl hesitated.
Adelia offers the marriage to Delano. It's just, it's not Adelia's real wish. He offered that, so as not to be married to Aris Wisesa. But when the conversation rose to the surface, Adelia suddenly felt hesitant.
“You want what kind of party?” Suddenly, Oma Tessa asked. “Oma will help take care of events and other purposes.”
“But it's okay if there's no papa of mine right?” adelia asked just to buy some time. Who knows, it could still be canceled.
“You don't have to worry about that.” Oma Tessa waved her hand casually. “Let Oma take care of everything. You will take care of yourself.”
“If you are not ready, we can rethink this. No need to force.” Suddenly, Delano said that to the little girl sitting next to him. Apparently, she caught Adelia's hesitation.
“Kok Daddy said that anyway?” Adelia was trying to look okay.
“If you are in doubt, just say doubt. You are not talented to lie because it is clearly visible on your face.”
Hearing that, Adelia immediately grimaced. Though it felt like he had tried his hardest to hide his expression, but Delano was indeed sensitive. The man could still read the expression accurately.
“Actually I am not in doubt the same, Daddy ...” Adelia paused by taking quite a long breath. “I ... just not ready. I guess what Daddy Delano's mom said was true, I wasn't ready.”
“It's okay, think again before deciding.” Delano said that, rubbing the head of the tiny woman next to him.
Delano's actions were actually simple, but it made Adelia blush in embarrassment. It was, of course, easily seen by Oma Tessa. Making the old woman glance at the two young people, coinciding with the clink of Delano's cell phone.
“What's up?” Oma Tessa asked, when she saw Delano's not-so-good face.
“It's okay.” Delano quickly shook his head and smiled. “Only order stray.”
“Remove it. Do not let it be a scam message,” said Oma advising. “Let's misspick it danger.”
“Iya, Oma.” Delano quickly complied, but he still had time to reread the message that was partially plastered on his phone screen.
