Poorly Forgotten Secretary
Jake's Crazy

"Bleehhh..." Alex made a strange sound while sticking out his tongue. "This ginger tea is not sweet at all, Jake." Alex sulks from the top of the sofa in the middle of his apartment.

"Like i care, boozer*! I made it to assuage your hangover, not to indulge your taste," replied Jake grumbling. (*the word for drunkard in English-American.)

So upset with his best friend, it was as if Jake wanted to insert the toilet tissue roll he was holding into Alex's chatty mouth.

"Hey, I'm not a drinker" Alex said.

"So what? What's more a fitting name for a fool who drinks eight cans of Blue Moon* sen-di-ri-an, huh? Be thankful you didn't get poisoned and are still alive today." (*The second most popular beer brand in America other than 805.)

Jake grumbles as he throws a lump of tissue containing the shards of the glass he just cleaned from Alex's room into the trash.

"Shut up, and spend it," Jake ordered firmly. "Just look if I'm done vacuuming your room the liquid is still not finished," threatened Jake glared at Alex.

"But this is not at all tasty, and spicy, I can't drink it, blah. blah. blah.." While Alex continues to grumble, Jake tries to just roll his eyeballs back.

Jake picked up the vacum cleaner from the closet and snorted when he remembered the moment he had just arrived at his best friend's residence last night.

The night before,

Jake Chiper slides into Alex's apartment as fast as he can. The news he hears from his manager makes Jake even more worried, and also curious about what has really happened to Alex at the party.

No, Jake thought, before leaving for the party Alex was acting weird. Damnit. I should have known. I should have realized it. I shouldn't have left him alone at the party.

Jake continues to regret everything that has happened while dialing Alex's door-opening password number, once he gets there. Opening the door with care and worry, worried that he might find Alex in the worst condition of his best friend.

An empty clean kitchen welcomes Jake when he opens the main door, he sees the middle space from the mini bar, also empty. Jake was getting better and harder when he went further, he didn't see Alex anywhere.

Where is the boy? ask Jake in your heart. He turned his head and saw the door of the main room— Alex's room, which opened slightly with a beam of light that peered from inside. Is Alex in his room? By herself? Or with Luna?Jake wondered.

Jake unwittingly tiptoes toward Alex's bedroom door, then peeks through the open door. Jake is relieved that there is no Luna in there, which means he is not bothering Alex with the man's fiance.

Jake pushed the door open. Slowly and carefully. There were beer cans strewn about as Jake stepped in. One, two, three, four, five... Jake keeps counting the cans as he walks toward Alex, who is lying on his back on Alex's super king mattress.

"What the heck, how many cans of beer did this boy drink. What is he thinking?" Jake grumbled while shaking his waist and head.

After making sure that Alex is just asleep and there are no symptoms of fever or anything, Jake rushes back to the kitchen to pick up the plastic trash. I better clean up this mess first while waiting for this sleeping prince to wake up, Jake's intentions in heart.

Jake has stayed in Alex's two-bedroom apartment. That's because the location of Alex's apartment in the city center is much easier to reach after they both come home from work late at night, than his own house which is more to the suburbs.

Alex has offered to live together in the apartment several times, but Jake refuses. Because Jake's not alone in the house he lives in right now. He lives with his twin brother Roy Chiper—a rookie* rising actor. (*newcomer)

Although rarely met because of each other's busyness, but Jake does not want to let Roy feel alone and neglected by him. Obviously the two twin brothers had a good brotherly relationship.

Back to the present, now,

"Then what really happened to you at the party?" Jake, who had just finished cleaning Alex's room from a broken glass, joined in the living room.

Choosing to sit on the sofa opposite Alex makes Jake can see the expression of his best friend clearly. Meanwhile, Alex, who realizes that he cannot possibly hide anything from Jake, decides to tell him about the breakup of his engagement with Luna Gross.

"That's it?" jake asked casually after Alex told him at length about the reason for his heartache.

"What'sthis? You're not surprised at all?" Alex is quite confused to realize Jake's indifference to the news that makes him so angry and disappointed.

"Sorry to say, but here the blind will love only you, my friend, not me. And I know for a fact what kind of woman Luna Gross is," replied Jake Cuek as he sipped his own coffee.

"Whatchu mean? So all this time you knew that my fiance was having an affair? And you didn't say anything to your best friend, Jake? Don't you have any empathy for me?" Alex does not believe in the response that Jake gave, he also suspects Jake is not as concerned with him as a friend.

Without warning Jake throws the slippers of the room he is wearing towards Alex. Fortunately Alex was quiet enough to avoid that impromptu attack.

"Hey, are you crazy?" alex shouted annoyed.

"You're crazy" Jake replied as he threw the other room's sandals at Alex, and this time Alex wasn't nimble enough to avoid it. As a result, the sandal used to wear Jake's left foot was landed right on his right shoulder. Alex immediately threw back the slippers carelessly in annoyance.

"I don't know if your fiance is having an affair, I've only expected it. I've been trying to warn you, what kind of woman Luna Gross was, even from the very beginning when you first told me your intention to date her. Butwhat? Your ears are clogged with Luna's distinctive discordant voice, so you've never heard anything of my advice." Jake rambled with excitement.

"But you..." Alex tried to interrupt.

"Shut up and listen to me first," snapped Jake sharply which immediately made Alex shrink and obey the blond man to be quiet.

"Then you told me that you were going to propose to that woman, I told you to rethink your decision, if you need to introduce Luna to your mother first and ask her opinion about Luna. Butwhat? again you didn't hear me, you didn't even invite me to that fucking proposal, as if our friendship has meant nothing to you since you were blinded by Luna Gross. You think how many times I've wanted to curse Luna for that woman's disrespect towards me, Lex. Only you here see her as an angel who came down from heaven."

Jake is out of breath after a long nyerocos to scold Alex, while Alex is silent. It's the first time in his life since their friendship began, Jake is mad in front of him.

"Is that so?" answer Alex lirih. Jake's whole babble is like a tape that's spinning over and over in his head. "But when my mother came here a while ago and met Luna, why didn't my mother say anything if Luna wasn't the woman I deserved?" Alex is confused.

"The question is, have you clearly ever asked your mother's opinion of Luna?" Jake asked after managing to catch his breath.

Alex fell silent again, trying to remember until he replied, "No."

"You're a fool" jake chirped his head.
