A Million Dollar Smile

The elevator that brought Ambrosia and Alex clanking signified that they had reached the floor they were on.

There are only two ways to reach the room of the President Director of Levine Enterprises, the first through a special lift—the only elevator in the building that only has two floors of destination; from the basement parking floor directly to the 41st floor where the President Director's room is located, or vice versa.

While the second way is to pass through the main lobby, using a public elevator to the secretarial floor which is on the 40th floor first, after that, just climb the manual stairs to one floor above it again, namely the Director's room floor.

Exiting the elevator, Ambrosia again led the way down the corridor. On her way, Ambrosia looked up at the secretary's desk in front of her and looked around for the other secretary who should be behind the empty desk.

Where are Elsa and Belle? Ambrosia asked in her heart. Because at least one of them should stay to maintain the secretary's desk for the efficiency of the secretarial work of the President Director.

That is why Roxanne Levine hired two other secretaries to help Ambrosia, so that the office of the President Director secretary is not empty like this as busy as the main secretary's duties.

Ambrosia immediately darted behind the secretary's desk and pulled the phone, but she had not had time to press a special button that directly connected to the Director's room, a giggling sound came from the direction of the pantry door.

Ambrosia and Alex turned to the source of the sound and both saw Belle and Elsa coming out of the room at the end of the corridor.

"Oh, my goodness..." Belle shrieked softly as she covered her mouth with her palm as her eyes caught the handsome figure standing in front of the secretary's desk.

"Hi, Ana, are you back?" greet Elsa as she steps closer. Despite talking to his senior, it was clear which way Elsa's eyes were directed, which was not at all in the direction of Ambrosia.

Belle follows Elsa as she approaches the secretary's desk, though with her eyes locked on the most handsome man she has ever met.

"I guess where you go to leave our desks empty, if there's an important phone or what emergency?" ambrosia protested in a stern tone while returning the phone handle to its original place.

"Sorry, sorry, it should be Belle's turn to guard but suddenly her stomach hurt so she rushed to the toilet," Elsa said regardless of Belle's reaction which was immediately flushed red after feeling her disgrace exposed.

"Hey, Elsa. You better shut up" whispered Belle, who immediately nudged her co-worker's waist in shame.

"By the way, if you're back from picking up the crown prince, this man is.."

Belle had not yet finished her sentence, Ambrosia immediately cut off her colleague's words so as not to waste their work time, "At this time her status is still a guest, so be professional as usual. Now, get back to work," Ambrosia orders decisively.

But the smile disappeared when Ambrosia's eyeball, behind her thick glasses, accidentally met Alex's eye. The girl's gaze suddenly returned sharply before she finally turned to leave the room.

Alex was immediately surprised to see it. How come? scream inner Alex. How could his attitude be so different when he was talking to his mother and when he saw me? Ahhh, that woman is really two-faced. Alex grumbled in his heart.
