Poorly Forgotten Secretary

Poorly Forgotten Secretary
The Return of the Crown Prince

Alex Levine walks casually while dragging the suitcase he has taken from the baggage claim. His steps are steady with the clairvoyance of a professional model that need not be doubted.

Among the crowd of people who were both newly disembarked from the plane, Alex was among a handful of eye-catching male passengers. Attract attention.

How not, with a height of one hundred and eighty-eight centimeters, proportional body shape, plus a face that is able to make every woman who sees him turn twice spontaneously, Alex is very easily seen.

However, Alex is too used to being the center of attention so he does not feel the need to pay attention to the way others look at him as long as it does not bother him.

On his way following the flow of humans who both headed to the pickup lobby, the, alex's eyes seemed to focus on the screen of his phone while occasionally looking forward to make sure he wouldn't bump into the person walking in front of him.

📩ROXANNE LEVINE

Dear Alex, I sent my best secretary to pick you up. Her name is Ambrosia Heart, but just call Ana the way I and the others call the girl. She is very nice and beautiful, but most importantly she is very competent in her work. I'm sure you'll like Ana the way we all like her. Be nice to him, okay!

That was the message Roxanne sent to Alex just before her son flew to Sydney. The message was recently read by Alex after he arrived at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.

After a few weeks of the day Alex promised her mother to learn to take over the company, Alex's return to Sydney has finally arrived. Of course, Roxanne asked her flagship secretary—Ambrosia, specifically to pick up her beloved son from the Airport.

Arriving at the pickup lobby, Alex slowed down his pace while circulating his gaze in search of his mother's envoy whom he might be able to recognize, according to an incomplete description written in the mother's short message.

However, Alex's previously cool expression suddenly turned puzzled as he saw a woman standing in one of the pick-up rows carrying a large white paper that read 'MR. LEVINE'.

Alex stopped his steps unconsciously, then frowned while double-checking his phone screen that still displayed a message from the mother. Obviously Alex read the word 'beautiful' written on the message, but what he saw with his own eyes was far from beautiful according to Alex.

What the??? rutuk inner Alex wondered.

To Alex, the woman who picked him up looked too old to be called a girl. With a pale face that Alex was sure did not polish any makeup, and wide glasses that also looked thick, made the woman's eyeballs look very small. Not to mention the work suit the woman wore, very conservative and all gray. In conclusion, the woman obviously could not be called 'beautiful'.

How could my mom who is so fashionable call 'that' 'beautiful'? thought Alex. She wasn't even fashionable, out of the flea shop where did the woman get the suit she was wearing? alex's mistress in heart.

Alex drowning. Scan more carefully and meticulously to the rows of people lined up behind the cord for pickers while hoping inwardly— very hopeful, very hopeful, find someone who fits the description of her mother, who also holds a paper bearing her name.

But finally Alex had to resign to accept the reality because there was no one there who held a paper that read his name except 'the creature'. With a disappointed grunt, Alex then stepped closer to his mother's secretary even with heavy steps.

Ambrosia grunted loudly, no matter how many times she had, and she did not care if the people standing on her right and left side realized the vexation that was strong from the whole body of the girl.

Roxanne Levine's secretary has even put on her face since she left the office to pick up the crown prince in Roxanne's private car.

He tried his hardest to keep a professional appearance holding a paper bearing the name of the person he was picking up even with a heavy heart. So heavy that Ambrosia willingly exchanged tasks with one of his assistants with additional lunch treaties if possible, as long as not have to face directly the man named Alex Levine.

Unfortunately, since the Great Mistress herself had told him to, he had no choice but to obey. Though Ana would rather not deal with this man. The man Ana thinks has the potential to undermine peace in the work environment she has loved so much over the past two years.

Ambrosia who was about to tear the paper on her ladder was suddenly startled by a low, masculine voice,

"You're called Ambrosia? My Mother's Secretary? From Levine Enterprise?" alex asked with a flat face and intonation, as flat as the runway of the plane he had just crossed when landing a few minutes ago.

He saw the woman turned to him and scanned her posture from head to toe while correcting the position of her glasses that slightly sagged. Alex feels ignored and offended by what the woman is doing.

"Listen.." Alex had not yet asked the woman not to waste her time, then suddenly the secretary interrupted her with a question.

"You who?" ask the secretary with an expressionless face.

JEREB!!! It was as if Alex had just been pierced by a dagger. Alex almost dropped his jaw if he did not quickly control himself and diverted his surprise by thumping a few times.

"Are you waiting for a man named Alex Levine?" alex asked still with a fist attached to his lips after a thump.

"really? Are you Mr Levine?" Ambrosia asked back with the same expression.

Alex nodded once. His outer posture still looks calm and cool even though in his heart he was so upset with the attitude of his mother's secretary this one.

"Do you have any proof that you are Mr Levine?"

"What-what?" now Alex can no longer cover his shock. And that just makes him stutter. "You... ask me for proof?" tanyanya could not believe it.

"really. Can I see your passport?" ask Ambrosia firmly.

Alex closed his eyes while gritting his teeth silently. This is totally insane! thought Alex. How could an ordinary employee like him be so disrespectful to his own superior son. Alex grumbled in his heart.
