Poorly Forgotten Secretary
Special Tasks for Ambrosia

Roxanne Levine was sitting in the passenger seat of her BMW, when suddenly her car stopped suddenly with a loud bang. He who at that time was busy exchanging messages with his son—Alex, was immediately struck by panic when he heard the sound of an eruption that he thought came from a gunshot.

The middle-aged woman also reflexively subdued her body while yelling to her personal driver, "What happened, Miles?" ask Roxanne to panic.

Miles Brown is a classic example of an old man who is loyal to his job as a Levine family driver. Her age is almost as old as Roxanne making her not only a dedicated driver but also a pleasant chat companion for Roxanne.

But at the moment, the old man feels that one mistake he made last week was fatal to his best employer—Roxanne. He turned to the passenger seat with a sorry face. "Sorry, Madam. Looks like our car's tires broke."

"Are you sure that's the sound of a broken tire, Miles?" Roxanne was doubtful.

"Yes, mom. I'm very sure. I was supposed to change the tires last week, but since I was not feeling well at the time, I was planning to go to the workshop today. But it turns out I was late, the tires broke first. Forgive me, ruin your busy Monday morning" Miles said regretfully.

The panic on Roxanne's face instantly disappeared, alternating with relief, "Oh, I thought there was a stray bullet* this sunny morning."

(stray bullet [stray bullet]; outside Indonesia, there are countries where some residents have legal gun permits, making incidents of shooting attacks and stray bullets common. That is why not only government officials use armored cars [bulletproof cars] but also businessmen and celebrities.)

"It's okay, Miles. Not everything can be predicted and that is natural. It's not your fault that you get sick on a day that requires you to do something important, so there's nothing to regret okay" Roxanne replies while putting her phone in a bag. "Then I'll just get off here, I happen to want to stop by the cafe across the street, please take care of the car, and don't forget to pick me up later that afternoon."

Without waiting for a reply from the private driver, Roxanne rushes down from the car and starts walking down the sidewalk towards the nearest zebra cross. While waiting for the lights for the crossers to light up, Roxanne is excited at the thought of what she will buy for breakfast this morning.

Secretarial floor of President Director Levine Enterprise,

Ambrosia was seriously splitting the task to her two juniors when she heard a crisp greeting from the President Director of the company where she worked, "Morning, ladies," Roxanne said as she swayed gracefully after getting out of the elevator.

Three heads belonging to the three girls sitting behind the secretarial table turned towards the owner of the voice in unison.

"By the other side, Roxy." Ambrosia was the first to respond to the number one female greeting in the company.

"Morning, mam." Belle and Elsa who had just realized from their shock hurriedly also returned the greeting of the great madam.

"What a beautiful morning, right?" roxanne asked as she stopped right in front of her secretaries' desks, "and here's a coffee croissant for my beautiful and precious secretaries, too," he continued while putting a large paper bag with the Bertoni logo on the long circular table.

"You shouldn't bother" said Ambrosia, who stood up and accepted her boss's gift. "But how do you get through an employee elevator and not use your private elevator directly to the top?" he asked then in wonder.

"Oh, don't bother at all, Ana. And it just happened that my car tire broke just before I got into the underground parking lot, so I chose to get off in front of the building and then cross for a bit to this cafe, because I thought I was going to have some croissant breakfast, so I bought some for you guys."

"Together, sweetheart. By the way can you ride with me now, Ana?" roxanne asked Ambrosia.

"Sure, mom. Sure," Ambrosia replied quickly and without hesitation.

Roxanne smiled happily, "Well, then we go upstairs now. Have a good day, ladies." Roxanne addressed Belle and Elsa who immediately replied with a big smile.

Roxanne then again sauntered up the stairs to climb into her own office followed by Ambrosia who was ready to work with a flagship notepad in her arms.

Arriving both of them in the President Director's office, Alex's mother did not immediately sit in her big chair but chose to sit on the sofa in the special living room in the office.

"Sit down, Ana." Roxanne lets Ambrosia sit on the empty sofa opposite her after putting her own breakfast bag and paper bag on the table.

Ambrosia obeyed the orders of the superior without saying a word. Only a nod of the head did Ambrosia to obey Roxanne's orders.

However, instead of directly saying the purpose and purpose of calling Ambrosia, Roxanne instead focused on removing one by one the food and drinks she bought from the paper bag while humming small.

And somehow, the cheerfulness of his big boss actually made Ambrosia nervous. Maybe because Ambrosia knows for sure that the only thing capable of making his First Director this series are only things related to the crown prince—Alex Levine.

"So, is there any special assignment for me today, Roxy?" ambrosia asked impatiently but remained on a polite level.

"Of course, baby, sure... And believe me, this is a very fun and special task. And you're the only one I believe is capable of this special task so well" Roxanne replied with a glowing face.

Somehow Ambrosia was getting nervous to hear the answer from her boss, "Then what should I do, mam?" Ambrosia asked again after successfully swallowing an unreal clot that suddenly felt like it was clogging her throat.

Roxanne widens her eyes like a happy little boy, "Especially if it wasn't about creating a new office for Alexku, Ana. Isn't that fun?" ask Roxanne plain.

No, not at all. Ambrosia's inner self with an awkward smile was engraved on her face at this moment. And without him noticing, his whole body became stiff shortly after Alex's name slid off Roxanne's lips. But unfortunately, Roxanne is too happy to realize the unease that her flagship secretary feels.

Furthermore, without knowing Ambrosia's true feelings, Roxanne smoothly gave direction after direction to her secretary about the creation of a new office that would be occupied by her only son,—Alex, as long as the man studies the job as a trainee director. With resignation, Ambrosia noted the direction of Roxanne even though her mood for work at that time, had been very messy.
