Poorly Forgotten Secretary

Poorly Forgotten Secretary
Important Mission (1)

Two years later, in the secretarial meeting room of President Director Levine Enterprise.

"Alright, it looks like we can move forward with the design of team two, but I will still report the results of teamwork one and three to the leader's mother as a consideration to determine the side plan. How's it?" Ambrosia's voice sounded calm yet authoritative in leading the meeting today.

Meanwhile, the participants of the joint meeting of the three planning teams present seemed satisfied to hear the final decision. They appear to be nodding their heads as a sign that they agree with Ambrosia.

"Then we close our meeting..." Ambrosia had not had time to finish the closing sentence, suddenly there was a knock from the door. Everyone in the meeting room turned their heads, Ambrosia was no exception.

A second later, the head of Daniel Brown —Human Resource Department, appeared from the door of the meeting room that opened slightly.

"Sorry, Ana. Have you finished the meeting? Can we talk?" ask him about Ambrosia.

"It can, Daniel. Give us five minutes" said Ambrosia.

"Sure." Daniel is ready to wait.

Ambrosia continued his work. He closed the meeting perfectly, and after all the meeting participants came out of the meeting room, he immediately called Daniel, "Come in, Dan! What do you need from me?"

Daniel stepped in, and immediately stood watching Ambrosia who was busy with her documents.

"Shortly, baby. Have you defined the organizational structure I asked you for yesterday for our new gallery in Perth?" ask Daniel to the point.

"Already," Ambrosia replied briefly after putting the final document into the leather map she was carrying, "and I've also emailed you this morning" he added, taking a quick glance at Daniel, then stepped out of the room while holding the map in his chest.

Daniel followed Ambrosia's steps and seemed to smile with satisfaction and relief, "Very well, Ana. Thank you for your help. I don't know since when I felt like I couldn't live in this company without you. I've always liked the way you work, even though I don't like the way you dress yourself."

Ambrosia just smiled at Daniel's outspoken opinion. To be honest, Ambrosia was not never hurt by Daniel's sarcasm, especially during their first meeting two years ago, when Daniel accompanied their Managing Director to interview him.

The man frontally made his last name as a joke that is known as a nickname for the old-fashioned cupu. Fortunately, Levine Enterprise's Managing Director hastily rebuked Daniel's disrespectful attitude towards Ambrosia. In fact, the middle-aged woman did not hesitate to hit Daniel's head with a thick map containing Ambrosia's resume data that was being held.

Ambrosia who saw him immediately finally did not become angry, he was amazed by the President Director's defense. A sincere behavior that he had never gotten at his workplace before.

But now, when Ambrosia got to know Daniel Brown better, the man whose every speech was unfiltered, so frank and what it was, he said, Ambrosia was no longer offended by everything that came out of Daniel's mouth. Whether it be insults or seduction, Ambrosia now understands that it is all a form of expression of Daniel's feelings only in the context of work. There is absolutely no profound personal element.

In fact, it was not only Daniel's attitude to himself that way. Almost all Levine Enterprise staff are familiar with the character of Daniel Brown, their handsome but savage-mouthed Human Resource Department manager.

However, Daniel is not known to be an annoying person, because what Daniel says is the truth. The man will not praise or criticize someone for no apparent reason. That is why many people like Daniel regardless of his outspoken manner of speaking.

For Ambrosia himself, Daniel's words were not wrong. During her two years at Levine Enterprise, Ambrosia was indeed better known as a twenty-seven-year-old young woman hiding behind conservative clothes and thick black-framed glasses.

"By the way, by the way." said Daniel again on their way to the elevator, "Roxanne needs you in her office right now, she told me to call you after I finished handing over my report to her earlier."

Ambrosia nodded, "Okay, thanks. I'm going straight to his office right now" he said.

The two then split up in front of the elevator. Daniel got into the elevator to get down to the floor where his study was located, while Ambrosia rushed towards the special staircase that was connected between the President Director's room and the secretaries' room, which was the main room, fortunately, he also had time to reach his flagship notepad from the workbench he passed.

After knocking on the sturdy wooden door twice, Ambrosia pushed the antique carved iron handle in front of her and bent her head between the open doors.

"You call me, Roxy?" ambrosia asked politely to her superior.

Roxanne Levine, the only female conglomerate in Australia known for her amazing business talent, sits behind the table of her greatness. Peering at his flagship secretary from behind his sagging glasses.

"Come in, Ana!" his orders while putting the pen and documents he held onto the table.

Ambrosia nodded once and pushed the door further open. His steps must be when approaching the big boss who has been almost two years of being his boss. A fact he is very grateful for.

Ambrosia stopped her steps exactly one and a half meters in front of the President Director's desk. Holding it tightly notepad and thick map contains the results of the meeting earlier. He intended to submit the report after learning of Roxanne's intention to call him.

Roxanne Levine stood up from her seat, leaning against a glass wall in her opulent office and located on the top floor of the Aurora Place Building, in central Sydney to observe her confidant.

"There are some important points you should do for me today, Ana!"

Ambrosia smiled at the knot and then activated the notepad screen that she carried. Fortunately I had brought this, his mind was relieved. Opens the Polaris office application that he usually uses to store important records in his work notepad.

As of this moment, when Director Roxanne asked him to take note of the key points of his duties today. "I'm ready, mam" exclaimed Ambrosia in her calm demeanor.

Roxanne has always been fascinated by the natural attitude of the girl before her. Calm and professional. As far as her knowledge was concerned, everything that existed in an Ambrosia Heart was so dazzling to her.

Regardless of the difference in the way the girl dressed herself when in the office or when she was out of the office, as long as she did for a job, Ambrosia will always look nerdy but still look professional.

But secretly Roxanne knows how the real figure of an Ambrosia Heart. Although from the beginning of the recruitment interview, Ambrosia had been wearing her cup mask, but Roxanne who had already investigated Ambrosia's background found the facts about the girl's true appearance.

Likewise, with the reason why Ambrosia now prefers to look cupu rather than indulge in natural beauty in the company environment. And whatever the reason for Ambrosia, Roxanne who felt she had no right to interfere finally decided to support secretly the decision of the secretary.

Roxanne is too smart as a leader to refuse the secretary of the Ambrosia group just because the girl's appearance is not too attractive to the eye. As long as Ambrosia does not violate the company's SOP about the standard of employee appearance while in the office, Roxanne will not dispute how Ambrosia looks.
