The Singapore Zoo
The weekend has arrived. As promised by Aksara, this time Kanaya and Bhishma got ready and would take the son to the Singapore Zoo.
The Singapore Zoo is a zoo that was once called the Singapore Zoological Garden. Singapore Zoo itself is often a tourist destination for families to introduce various animals there.
"So, are you ready today for the Singapore Zoo?" bisma asked her son.
"Yes Dad. There can see what Dad is?" ask Aksara again.
"There's Panda, Inuka, and Sheba. There are three tickets there Aksara Zoo usually, Jurong Bird Park specifically various types of birds, and Night Safari which provides tour tours at night," explained Bisma to her son.
"Well, it's cool Dad .. So Singapore Zoo is better than Ragunan huh Well?" ask Aksara innocently.
"Yes dear .. We will take a walk later. Remember that tired of saying yes" the message of Bhishma to his son.
"Dad, don't forget to bring an umbrella. Rain can suddenly fall in Singapore. Let's just keep walking and see various animals even though it rains," added Kanaya.
After feeling that the backpack they carry is complete with various equipment. Now they choose to take a city bus to Mandai Lake, Singapore.
By bus, Kanaya, Bisma, and Aksara can see the beautiful streets in the city of Singapore that are so clean of garbage, and anti-jam. The situation is clearly different from Jakarta which is so jammed, and a lot of garbage everywhere.
"The city is clean, Mother," said Aksara when he saw the road passed by the bus.
"Yes Aksara, you can't throw garbage carelessly. Even here, citizens should not chew gum. For those who break there will be a fine. A lot of money" Kanaya explained.
Singapore is a country that has so many rules and citizens have to abide by them. For this reason, Singapore is so clean, people can ride public transportation because everything is regulated. A small country with a small population can be more regulated, compared to a large country and a large population.
Now they have arrived at the Singapore Zoo. They started to leave the zoo. See various animals such as Apes, Elephants, Giraffes, and various other types of animals. Luckily the day was quite shady, so getting around the Singapore Zoo was so blistering.
“Ahn Meng what is Daddy?” ask Aksara.
“Oh, it is Sumatran Orang Utan, Aksara. The description is on the information board here,” point to Bhishma on the information board that explains about Ahn Meng.
“Why from Sumatra island can be here Yah?” ask Aksara again.
“These Sumatran Utans are rare, Nak. The species is indeed Sumatra because it comes from Sumatra, but there is also this species found in the Malay Peninsula,” explained Bisma to her son.
After that, the three of them now ride a tram (tourist bus) that takes them around area by area at the Singapore Zoo. Well, it feels so nice to enjoy vacation time with Aksara. Although only take advantage of the holiday at the weekend, but the third face looks so happy.
“Dad, Mother .. Aksara want to see Panda dong,” invite Aksara this time.
For information, to see Panda does not need to go far to China because in Singapore Zoo alone there is Panda there. For that, Kanaya and Bisma invite Aksara to see Panda.
Aksara was so happy to see Panda. The animal she had only seen in books and on television, she could now see in person.
“That famous Panda here is called Kai Kai and Jia Jia. This panda in a month can devour 200 kilograms of bamboo stems. Its habitat is also made so similar to its original habitat, such as being in the wild, so that the Pandanya can adapt well,” explained Bisma to her son.
“That's funny Dad .. black-and-white, likes to eat bamboo, he also likes to climb trees. Aksara can only see this in books and television, now can see Panda directly. Thank you Dad and Mommy for taking Aksara for a walk and seeing Panda,” he said with so cheerful.
“It also has Inuka, Aksara,” Kanaya said pointing to the animal part of the map she was holding.
“Polar bear, dear ... There are also polar bears here,” Kanaya replied.
“Wah, want to see Inuka dong Bunda .. his animal collection here is complete. Aksara likes,” he said.
The three then walked and saw the polar bear named Inuka. Again Aksara looked amazed at the animals he had never even seen before.
“Keren once Mother .. Aksara likes,” yells Aksara again.
Kanaya and Bhishma are happy. Giving happiness to a child seems so simple. Just invite him to see a variety of animals Aksara already so happy.
At the Singapore Zoo as well, Bisma captured their moments of sightseeing in camera shots. Sometimes Bisma also asks other visitors to take pictures of the three of them.
Finally, they had a full day of sightseeing at the Singapore Zoo, now they stopped by a fast food restaurant to fill an empty stomach that was so hungry. Aksara also wanted to drink because it was so thirsty after a walk.
“Mother bribe yes Aksara,” said Kanaya who feeds rice with Fries Chicken for her son.
“Iya Bunda .. whereas Aksara can eat alone,” reply.
“It's okay .. Mommy likes to feed you,” replied Kanaya.
Bisma smiled to see his wife's interaction with the Aksara. Such a scene warmed his heart.
Aksara then took a Friend Fries and mixed it into the chili sauce and fed it to Kanaya.
“Mother also eat well .. Aksara bribin,” he said.
Kanaya opens her mouth and receives a mouthful of french fries from her son's hand.
“Still, Son ... so how happy are the streets today?” ask Kanaya.
“Iya Mommy .. very happy. Invite to Garden By The Bay sometime Mother,” pinta Aksara this time.
Kanaya and Bhishma laughed, not expecting their son to know the places to go in Singapore.
“You know where Garden By The Bay is, Aksara?” ask Bisma.
“It was on the map held by Mommy .. want to see the super tree,” Aksara replied while pointing to the map of tourist maps in Singapore which was previously held by the Mother.
Kanaya and Bhishma laughed. Did not think that Aksara apparently noticed the tourist map of Singapore that Kanaya had brought.
“Baiklah .. mumpung we are still in Singapore, Father and Mother will invite you to take a walk. Later when we return to Jakarta, we return to the routine of both of us and Aksara back to school well?” bisma.
Aksara nodded his head, “Iya Yah .. Aksara would,” he replied.
For Bisma during this time in Singapore they will really take advantage of the time to bound with Aksara. Build and create beautiful moments together with Aksara. Redeem four years of wasted time, and create happiness together. Later if they have arrived in Jakarta, they will return to work on their activities and routines and Aksara will certainly return to school.
