Sharing Love: The First Wife's Pilu Story

Sharing Love: The First Wife's Pilu Story
Passing through critical time

"You'd rather hate me for a lifetime than leave me. Hold on for Devan who still needs you" Mahesa whispered, taking off the gurney she had been pushing from earlier into the ICU. Her hands shook as she took off Sabrina's fingers.

Athletic body that is so charming still he exhibited in front of the sisters who passed. The cold wind of the turn of the day was ignored. What is in his heart can only be said if what has happened. Her dream melted, her purpose in life was destroyed along with the slap that hit.

No, Mahesa was still in disbelief with her fishy-smelling body, the red stains left behind began to dry up every porch pore.

The incident was like a hard rock, there was nothing he could do but surrender. Leaning against the wall Mahesa sat down to bend her knees and embrace her then, immersing her face.

"I'm sorry" repeatedly said that.

'Mas, if I give birth later I want you to accompany me.' The voice was still clearly ringing in his ears. Absolute desire, even when giving birth to Devan he was deliberately not present with various kilah.

Currently, Mahesa does not have the number one position in the office. It is not Mahesa who is always proud of her profession, but Mahesa, a husband who is grieving with the calamity that hit his wife.

Those who are shy also grieve with their sprawling relatives, but Mahesa feels she is the most grieving in the whole world.

"Mas," The familiar voice was unable to surprise him, Mahesa was still in his position, his brain could not operate but think of his wife who was now fighting death. All she wanted to hear was an open door and a smile from the doctor who said, Sabrina is fine.

"Better bath first, and pray!"

So long together, the first time Randu ruled it.

Adhan's voice had echoed, but Mahesa was still flinching, struggling with her brain.

Randu put down the paper bag he was carrying and raised Mahesa's head. Looking at his face that was frozen without a bow.

"Mas, there's still Devan in need of affection, don't be like this. Mother Devan is a very strong woman, surely she can get through this all" said Randu reassured.

Mahesa moved her hand, reaching for Randu's hand.

"Where's my son?" Still with lips that vibrate violently.

"At home, better mas Salat first let me take care of it here."

Mahesa wiped her tears and was stunned from her seat, dragging her heavy legs as she left the place.

Randu approached the door and peeked behind the small glass, saw a Doctor and a nurse clustered around Sabrina's body that was lying on the bed.

God, I hope Sabrina is okay.

The sound of crying echoed, without Randu noticing Bu Risma and Pak Yudi were already behind him, from when the arrival of Randu was carried away by a very heartbreaking atmosphere.

The face of a husband and wife was no less chaotic. Ms. Risma who was in the arms of Mr. Yudi cried as much as she could.

"How's Sabrina doing?"

Mr. Yudi continued to stroke Bu Risma's shoulder hoping to calm down. Sabrina is the daughter-in-law he once hated, but time passes able to melt his heart.

Randu just shook his head without a sound. He was very surprised when he got news from Bi Mimi. Even he had not had time to enter the gate and finally slammed the steering wheel back.

In a square room that is so shady, there Mahesa complained that she hoped that what she wanted would be fulfilled. The lights began to light up every corner of the hospital, but his heart still felt dark because his opponent was dim.

Mahesa returned to her original place with her heart a little calm, especially Mahesa considering the baby who now needs her.

Just as his feet arrived near Bu Risma, the door of the room opened.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?"  ask Mahesa enthusiastically.

The doctor before him took off his gloves and let out a long sigh.

"Better to come with me."

His face was expressionless as he opened a large map. Mahesa was curious about the news the doctor brought.

"I'm the medical team has tried everything possible. But the Almighty said otherwise, the fetus in the womb of Mbak Sabrina could not be saved."

Mahesa is confused, one fact makes her veins stiff, as a husband and father she feels failed in her role.

"Then?" Mahesa is getting tense.

"Sabrina's gone through a critical period."

Hamdalah's words chanted in Mahesh's heart. Although the baby did not survive, at least Sabrina was still able to be maintained.

"There's a cut in her brain, and it's probably a bump that's too hard, we're just waiting for Sabrina to wake up."

Oh God, what kind of husband am I, just protecting my wife can't.

Mahesa felt increasingly guilty, in his life history this is the first time he was faced with a reality that drained inner emotions.

"Can I see it?"

"Please! But only one person, Sabrina's situation is still not stable to look at."

With pliable legs Mahesa wore a special shirt before entering the room where Sabrina was treated.

"Ma, pray for Sabrina" Mahesa asked by kissing her parents' hands.

"The best prayer for you," replied Ms. Risma kissing Mahesa's forehead in front of Randu.

After Mahesa closed the door of the room, Arum and Sesil arrived, with a breath that made the girl hug Bu Risma tightly.

Gathering all the courage from all over, Arum approached Randu who was a little away.

"Sorry sir, how is Sabrina?'' asked Arum a little doubtful.

Randu shook his head and folded his hands. "As long as Sabrina's mom is in the hospital, take good care of Devan!" her word.

Memory at the beginning of the meeting until marriage, establish a relationship without love ties, often angry for no reason, scorned because the pregnancy was back filled the mind of Mahesa when looking at the sad face of his wife.

Mahesa slowly grabbed Sabrina's hand and placed it on her cheek.

"I knew I was wrong" Her tears again accompanied her words. "I'm sorry, give me one more chance to be your husband if you hate me for that night. I hate myself, we're not worth it, but I want you to complete my life."

Mahesa stroked Sabrina's cheek, her heart pounding with pain, as if she had felt the pain that befell her wife.

"Wake, baby!  Me and Devan are waiting for you, don't get too late in the dream, I'll make all your wishes come true in the real world."

A kiss landed on Sabrina's forehead for so long.

As Mahesa loosened her hands, she suddenly saw a clear stream flowing from the corner of Sabrina's eyes that was soaking her temple.

Mahesa smiled and rubbed it gently.

It means he listens to my words, Mahesa said in her heart.

Mahesa smiled crisply, her chest that had been rumbling a little quietly.

"I'll be here until you open your eyes, and I want to be the first person you see at that moment" she whispered.
